@,"The emissary of fear... appears from the pitch-black darkness... and lures you in without a sound." his attack triggered a contingency teleport on his other side. She got a sickle and pushed a button extending the pole. With two crescent strikes she sent a shadowy wave of energy against him in an X formation. "Sha-elasar.. terve..."

Crimson's eyes widened as the attack came an inch from hitting him square in the chest. He managed to dodge it just in time only because he shot a jet of flames at the floor, causing the G-force of the blast to launch him in the air. Once there, he put his hooves together and shot a large, dragon shaped jet of fire at his opponent. This attack, however, was different than the last few, as Selune would soon discover.

@,After having used teleportation magic immediate use could cause an explosion of mana which was not what she wanted. Instead she fired a beam at the dragon seeking to delay it until the magic dissipated. She wasn't sure it would work but she would try and not use too much. So she fired, and back stepped, did circles hoping it would stop.

The dragon caught the energy beam in it's teeth, gripping it tightly as it attempted to push onward, towards it's target. However, the beam of energy was slowing it down quite a lot. But just when it seemed like the mares attack would win out, Crimson boosted the force of the dragon to its maximum, effectively dispersing the beam and allowing the flaming dragon to fly towards Selune at full speed once more. Crimson planned on using the dragon to knock her out of the arena.

The dragon caught the energy beam in it's teeth, gripping it tightly as it attempted to push onward, towards it's target. However, the beam of energy was slowing it down quite a lot. But just when it seemed like the mares attack would win out, Crimson boosted the force of the dragon to its maximum, effectively dispersing the beam and allowing the flaming dragon to fly towards Selune at full speed once more. Crimson planned on using the dragon to knock her out of the arena.

Realizing there was no avoiding it Selune tried to maneuver towards Crimson hoping that if she got near him he would either have to dispel him or get hit by the same attack. She was ready to strike him with the dull part of the scythe to take him down. She still wasn't ready to strike. Plus the scythe had other uses.

"Uh...sorry, miss...but I can see your little ploy, and I'm sorry to inform you that it wont work. I wouldnt be a very good pyrokinetic if I were vulnerable to fire, now would I?" He asked rhetorically, before flicking his hoof and dispersing the dragon. However, the flames didn't dissappear. "This is the part where you fall down..." he said, before rushing headlong into the mare's attack, readying his sword to parry any strikes from her scythe, not with his hoof, though, but with his unicorn telakinesis. Crimson raised an eyebrow in confusion as he saw his opponent rushing at him, but then he saw what she planned to do, and smiled evilly. "Uh...sorry, miss...but I can see your little ploy, and I'm sorry to inform you that it wont work. I wouldnt be a very good pyrokinetic if I were vulnerable to fire, now would I?" He asked rhetorically, before flicking his hoof and dispersing the dragon. However, the flames didn't dissappear. But she didnt use her mouth instead she used her horn to eject a continious stream of extremely irritating black glitterdust aiming eyes and face, it was accompanied with a small gust of wind made by that magic. She span her weapon around her and managed to make the flames sear around her. She wasn't untouched but her skin seared and burned. She was burned again on those same point as laat battle...

 

"Raaaaaargh!" once the flames died down she doused the flame on her mane.

 

"You... What's with you all burning me today?"

Crimson cursed and jumped back a few feet away, a safe enough distance to wipe and burn away the strange dust-like material that shot from her horn. However, even though he wiped or burned most of the irritation away, his eyes were still stinging from it. "Gah!! Dammit!! Well what would you expect?! I'm a fucking fire powered pirate pony!! Or did you not get the memo?" He growled.

 

The red maned pirate sheathed his sword, then formed a flaming whip in his hoof and snapped it towards the mares face, once again hoping to knock her out of the ring...or at least, that's what he seemed to be doing...

The flash of light blinded Crimson, but he was determined to strike a finishing blow to Selune and end the fight. Or at the very least, to injure her enough to land a finishing blow. Be it knocking her unconcious, or simply knocking her out of the ring, Crimson was ready to finish the fight with his opponents life in tact. So he did the only thing he could do...he steeled his nerves, and headbutted towards Selune's head as hard as he could. "This might leav a mark!!" he yelled blindly.

"If this fight ends with another headbutt, we'll be setting some kind of tournament record!" Topaz exclaimed though the speakers.

 

Mason was sitting in one of the front rows of the audience disguised as a green unicorn. Silly girl, it doesn't matter what happens in the ring, He thought, One of them is still going to die.

And desperate means in no way weak.)) She let go but when they looked eye to eye she had something else in her eyes. She dropped back a bit sidestepping.

The full output of the remainder of her magic tormented mind in a ferocious beam. She couldn't move... After this all it would take was the flick of wind.

Crimson's eyes were now clear enough to see the large beam of energy flying towards him. However, he was too exaughsted to dodge it, and he was losing a lot of blood, due to the bite wound he gained from Selune. He had no choice. He had to use his last resort...his trump card. Just before the blast hit him, Crimson engulfed his body in golden flames. When the blast made contact with Crimson, he didnt budge an inch. Instead, he absorbed the blast as energy and used it to trot towards Selune, panting and glaring through blurry vision from bloodloss, he approached close enough to whisper. "When you wake up, miss...allow me to explain why I have to win this tournament...but until then, please forgive me for this..." he said, before using the last of his strength to punch her in the head, hoping this would be the final blow, as he was about to fall unconcsious as well.

The explosion left him on the opposite side of the arena, barely on the edge of it. But Crimson was too concerned with his newest injuries to actually care about his current position. His back left leg was bent at an odd angle, broken, along with at least three of his ribs. Not only that, but his ears were bleeding and he was pretty sure that his left eardrum had been sompletely destroyed.

 

"Uugh...f-fuck...why did you...why did you have to do...that...why...WHY DID YOU HAVE TO GIVE EVERYTHING UP!!" He yelled, not caring that his jaw seemed to pop and his mouth seemed to bleed as he talked. He simply beat the ground with his hoof, panting and crying that he had failed to convince Selune to keep living. He knew that Mason was watching, and he also knew that the stretchy bastard would enjoy tormenting him over this.

There were red lines and a crimson black aura around her. But as soon as she did this she instantly fell again. The small boost of Shar was wasted in her weakened burned state and she fell unconscious. She hoped that bitch Juri was dead... For even attempting to assume or want her dead for the cheers of the crowd.

Gatasubals metal appendages stretched out into the stadium. One of them grabbed Juri and yanked her to safety. A second arm extended to shield the ref from the daggers.

 

"Code twelve violation," Gatasubal announced, "Attacking a referee directly bares the penalty of disqualification."

 

"Let me down," Juri demanded. Gatasubal complied and she made her way to the ringside where she began her ten count. It wouldn't matter if Selune had broken a rule if she wasn't even going to make a ten count.

 

"ONE! TWO! THREE! FOUR!"
