Sorry it's taking me a while to type something into the RP. I'm racking my brains trying to figure out how Horsefly could be encouraged to join the war. >.<

Maybe like burning down territory as they lose it or burn what they gain to show dominance over equestria... the burnings could be drstroying the enviorments and tjat leafs to insects dying. That actually sounds like a pretty good idea. I'll use that one tomorrow. Btw, is PonyVille completely unaware of the war that's happening? Cus that's where Horsefly lives, with Twilight.

The majority of Ponyville has no idea. The only ones who know are those veterans who survived to a retirement age, and those close to the princesses (which includes twilight although she may or may not tell you. Maybe you hear a story of things being burned, and stories from war veterans, put two and two together and ask twilight?) anyways, normal Ponyville citizens have no idea.

You could look at an angle that would cause a threat to some or most of your army; Not sure what types of insects you have running with you, but insects do have home locations- hives if you will. You could look at the concept of some of your member's hives/homes are in the direct path, similar to Dirge's turn and burn style of thoughts. You could even ponder on the idea of having a hive or two (smaller ones), having already been "cleansed" and you're heading to the first staging point for an offensive operation against this rampaging pony & griffon force....Just a thought; though I would feel privileged to working up a good back story for your entry, if you'd like.

Really liked the direction you were heading with this; reminds me of the German advance into the East during Operation Barbarossa.

So, you live in PonyVille? No Problem. Various types of insects migrate during certain seasons or year cycles. Depending on the distance between PonyVille and the battlefront, what's stopping the Master of Insects (you), from finding out about the catastrophe that has occurred? Basically, a battered, beaten up group of Wasps quested all the way to PonyVille to seek your aid in the "in-hymenopteric" destruction (play on inhuman acts..lol), of their colony; Only to learn that there are several other battered, beaten up groups of various types of insects, that the onset of this war has affected...

Now! I've been giving this some serious thought, believe it or not, but to be honest, I have an idea for an RPG Pony, but again, to be perfectly honest, I wouldn't mind some help in developing it. Sure I've played RPG's since I was like ten years old (going back to the early to mid-1980s..lol); I still do in fact, however, I'm sort of stumped on how to make a Pony Character. Like I said, I have a pretty good Idea and I wouldn't mind giving this type of RPG a try; and I can't think of a group of individuals better they you'all that could possibly help with this. So if anyone is interested, I'd be glad to type up my idea's and thoughts for my Pony Character....AND, perhaps, Horsefly, "WE" could enter together, as an option?

Does medieval also include the high middle ages, so early gunpowder weapons such as the archebus or musket?

(As gunpowder was used as early as the crusades in europe/middle east)
