The alpha stood there, a smile on his face. "Well, you can't expect wolves to be uncivilized. That's like calling griffons vultures." He said with a smile, seeing the mare actually consider his offer. "As for departure, as I said, a day or two depending on the cargo plain I booked." He added.

Bushido nodded slightly after thinking the wolf's offer. "Well, i suppose, the Wolven Empire would be a secure change from Equestria, where i never wanted to come in the first place. But, of course, if Cobalt does not want to go, then I will have no choice but t refuse", she said and looked to the colt who sighed and grudgingly agreed to the wolf's offer since Bushido already had and he saw no sense in arguing with her when her mind was already made up.

The wolf felt a pang of pain hit him as he heard the mare reject his offer. He hadn't expected the denial to be this rough, and he didn't know why. Well... he did. He had grown found of the mare, and rejection was harsh on the soul. However, at the word of acceptance, Seth perked up. "Really? T.. that would be great!" He said, a bit too loudly. He was obviously excited to be with the mare a bit more. Hopefully the colt wouldn't be too afraid of the wolven land.

The colt clearly wasn't quite thrilled with the whole living with wolves idea but Bushido didn't seem to mind one bit. "Cobalt. You have received a kindness. The least you can do about it is be grateful. If this is how you behave toward those who show you kindness, then you are dishonoring your ancestors as  well as mine. You will improve your attitude before we arrive in the Empire. Is that crystal clear", she asked the colt, clearly infuriated at his total disrespect towards the wolf. The colt just glared at her, though she couldn't see it, she knew he was, but chose to let it pass.

/me smiled to the two, knowing they were as close as mother and son. "Hey, I will need to prep some stuff for the trip. Meet me at canterlot airport tonight around midnight. Look for the camo-coated large plane." He said, mostly referring to the colt to look. "I have to get some stuff before i leave." He then tossed down the pack for them. "Enjoy what's left, it will come in handy." With that, he nodded and quickly departed.

The mare nodded in confirmation of his rendezvous point as the colt nodded to confirm he would find the plane for them. They quickly departed from the top of the cave and deeper into the forest towards Zecoras hut, do Bushido could pick up some potions before leaving the nation.

The wolf arrived at the airfield, going to the hanger bay of the c-130 they would be flying out on. It was being prepped for the flight, mostly just getting the cargo in. Walking up to one of the wolves, he greeted him.

"Good to have you back. Did she accept the offer?" The wolf asked, placing down the container he was hauling. 

"Yup, she will be here at midnight. Perfect time for the flight." 

"Well i  hope you two have a good time back home."

The pair waited for a few hours making sure that they had everything packed up to leave the country. "How long are we going to be in the Wolven Empire", the colt asked as they trekked upto Canterlot. "I havnt ddecided yet", Bushido finally answered as they reached the airport at 11:50 P. M.

The wolf had been playing some cards with the other wolves, passing the time until the mare and colt arrived. The plane was all prepped, and they only had to wait for a jet to take off before they could depart. When the mare and her colt arrived, the wolf stood from the table and waved. "Well, here's our ride." He said, patting the side of the metal bird. The other wolves at the table stood, nodding to the mare before going to the c-130 to prep for take off.

The mare returned his wave and their nods with a nod of her own, the young colt glowering at the ground, clearly less then pleased to be going to the Wolven Empire. Bushido noted this but knew it was a better option than remaining in Equestria, at least. The mare was adorned with all of her armour and weapons and the colt had a small belt of knives on each leg as they approached the wolves.

The wolf guided the mare to the back of the plane, showing her and the child their seat. "Sorry for the less than comfortable accommodations, I couldn't exactly spring first class." He joked, pushing a crate aside for himself to strap in. Giving a bark to the cockpit, he felt the plane's engines roar to life as they taxied out onto the runway. "Try to get some sleep. It's going to be a long flight."

The mare just rolled her eyes at his joke. "Comfort is the least of my concerns. If i cared about being comfortable I wouldn't be wearing plated armour for a who knows how long flight", she retorted simply as the colt curled up a couple of feet away and feel quickly asleep. "Sorry. I don't think i will be sleeping. Sleeping in the air just seems weird to me".

"I need to make some calls. Anything I can get ya while I'm up? Some water maybe?" He asked, standing and looking to a wolf approaching. Giving a few barks, the wolf handed Seth a radio. Pressing some buttons, he waited for a response. He needed to call and old friend about getting a ride once they landed.

Bushido pulled a couple of warm cloaks out from the pouches on her leg armour draping one over the colt and offering one to him. " I guess a water couldn't hurt, though i really don't want to be a bother. Your'e doing enough by taking us with you to the Empire", she said and put the cloak over herself. "Seeing as That is only one I have that is big enough for a grown pony or wolf, would it be a problem to share this cloak? I don't want you to be cold.

"First I'll grab the water, then i will accept the offer." He said, smiling to her. Walking towards the front of the plane, the wolf pulled out a canteen of water and then heard the radio come to life. Speaking in barks, the wolf answered the call.

"Damen, it's been too long."

"It has. Any reason you are on a return rout? Maybe something to do with a prison term?" The wolf on the line asked.

"Look, I  can-"

 

"You don't need to convince me. I know the details. The empire is pissed for the framing of one of our own. You are more than welcome here, Seth."

"Thanks, and you think you lend us a ride?"

"Want a military escort?"

"Just something comfortable, and no guns." He said, hearing his friend snicker on the other end.

"I'll grant you your request. Just can't wait to see ya." 

"See you there, old friend. Seth out." Signing off, the wolf gave the radio back to the wolf and then returned to mare. He sat down next to her, handing her the water. "As requested."

Bushido took the water and dropped the cloak over the wolf and removed her helm since it wasn't going to be needed for a while. She considered removing the armour but quickly realized that there was no place to put it and she didn't want to leave the warm cloak to remove it. "So. I take  it you got whatever you needed taken care of taken care of then"?

Seth smiled as the cloak was placed over him. He then sat back a bit and looked over both the mare and the child on the other side of her. "Ya. A friend of mine is high up in the political world here, so he's going to have transport waiting for us when we arrive. Just out of curiosity, what are you going to be looking for? City life, isolation, more farm town?" He then asked, realizing that that was one question not exactly established when they left.

Bushido had laid her head on the wolf's shoulder after draping the cloak over them. "I'm not too keen on any city.....kind of my weak point.....highly populated areas makes it hard to maneuver when hunting or tracking, not that matters now. I don't know probably something isolation so I can work on my hidden arts...", she paused with a smirk. "Or as you insist on calling them, my magic in peace without causing a disturbance", she said figuring that was probably her best bet, anything that wasn't in a massive populace.

The wolf glanced over as the mare rested on him. "Well, you have come to the right place. The empire spans over about double the size of Equestria, and has about half the population. Most of the land is snow and ice with forests in between." He added, knowing the whole 'cold' factor might be a bit rough. "Near the southern border, there is some less frigged lands. There are a few farm settlements that are more rural. You could live there if you wish."

The mare looked at the wolf questioningly. "What makes you think I can't take the cold", she asked, a little offended that he didn't think she could handle cold weather. "You forget, I am a ninja. The weather is of no concern to me, it is only a calculation in battle, nothing more".

The wolf smirked. "Consider this. Even in he southern borders early peak over freezing. During summer. The nation is part of the northern poll of the world. If you want to live in the cold, I won't mind. I just wanted you to enjoy your time here." He added. Looking to the child, he felt slightly conserned. "I admit, wolves can be a bit intimidating, that goes double for alphas. However, we shouldn't run into too much trouble. But... How will the kid hold up?"

"I see. If it would be that could, then i cannot make Cobalt go and live there.....Um, what do you mean by 'how will he hold up'? If you mean weather wise, that's not a concern. I will be going somewhere he can handle. If you mean....fear.....I don't know. Nopony is without fear.", she said but then started to mutter to herself. "But.....he will be with me so he should be fine, even though he never wanted to come here....", she muttered, wondering if she had made the wrong choice. "Then again, I didn't want to d]go to Equestria but for the most part, it turned ut fine....", she finished her muttering and looked at the wolf. "He will be alright, I believe", she said tough she wasn't entirely sure herself.

Patting the mare's shoulder, he sighed. I can understand his worries about a new land. I will keep the locals at bay, but you need to comfort him. You are his last kin now." The wolf spoke as he then rested an arm around her. "I must admit though, it's amazing that you are so good with kids. When I first met you, you were a cold killer. Now, I can see the soft inside you hold.

"Of course I'm good with kids. I've been spending half of my life protecting a bunch of them, it might be nice ti e good with them in my position", she said dryly though it wasn't quite sarcasm, just her own way of responding. "And I still am a cold blooded killer. But tat aside...I know full well that I am all he has left. Therefore I must continue to play the parent like I always have", she said which was true. Since sh left Japon with young and elderly, she was the clan master and took on the caretaker role for each of them.

Seth smiled at the mare, then looking to the child. "Well... I can tell ya if you are being a good parent or not. I have no one to compare you to. Never knew my parents. But, from what I can tell, you are wonderful at what you do." He finished, looking to a clock on the side of the plane, the wolf yawned. "Ok, we have about four hours till we hit the ground again. Sure you don't want sleep?"
