Venkat rolled his eyes. "And....they would be where? I wasn't paying attention."

"Two blocks down! 51st Street!" Donovan turns and says with a lighter, less aggravated, tone.

(Ima have to go soon, this will be my last post in this RP for tonight. Till I get back, anyway)

 

"Oh, all right,. Here." sighed Venkat. He tossed Donovan a bottle of vodka. "If you do die, at least die happy." He turned and left.

Donovan snickers. "You got it." Donovan reloads a new mag.

The group is almost to their destination. He looks back to see Venkat running up from behind. He waits until he's in the back of the group and until Venkat catches up to him. As soon as he does, he notices someone a walker behind him. He charges at it with the crowbar, sending the hooked end through the top of the walker's head.

Venkat catches up to him and they continue jogging. "We're almost there," Hamza says, "If it wasn't for Donovan we'd all be dead."

Eventually they see a bigger group up ahead which Hamza assumes is Ricks.

The group hears a woman's scream from Donovan's direction. Do you go back to the wave of walkers or do you get to Rick and the children?

"shhh... Did you guys hear that? It sounded like someone screaming, do you want to check it out?" Phil looked at the other and said.

"Ah sh*t," Jason sighed looking towards the direction of the scream "That was someone screaming and I don't think Donovan is that feminine".

 

"I'm gonna check it out, anyone who wants to help come with me, anyone who doesn't, find Rick and explain what's happening".

Jason started to move back towards the scream, his head glancing backwards to see if he had any followers.

"Im gonna go meet with that Rick guy. If nobody shows up he might think were all dead and move on..."

 

Jack continues towards Rick's group.

 

"Be carefull though..."

"I'll go with Jason" Phil says as he walks towards Jason.

[Croaks 251]

"I'll go with Jack. We do need to find Rick's group before they move on," Hamza said.

"MORE cops? No. Nonononononono. If they're in I'm out."

Jason and Phil go to find Donovan covered in blood whilst standing. A woman covered in walker blood is in the alley, she has been shot in the shoulder and is holding a bitten toddler. She is crying. Donovan is staring at her with a worried but stern look.

Jason's shoulders slump at the scene before him, his mind resigning itself to the fact that, once again, sh*t had hit the fan.

He walked over to Donovan, his eyes roaming the block for any sign of Walker activity.

 

"The hell happened man?," Jason whispered, looking at the sobbing women, "Who is she, why does she have a bullet in her goddamn shoulder?"

Donovan still staring at the women, near the piles of dead walkers.

"She... She was in the herd. She had covered herself in walker blood to fit in with them. She had to have been going crazy, she was eating a dead corpse along with a few other walkers, while holding that infant. I shot the others and noticed she was different. I killed the herd off. I left her. She got up and ran towards me. That walker thats dead behind me had came from behind and bit my clothes. I got startled, I elbowed that walker it the face and shot towards her. I hit her shoulder and she screamed, still holding the baby. I turned and shot the walker from behind me and returned to her. She was scared so I said, "Are you ok? Are you alive?" Then she went crazy and bit her baby. It was crying, and I... I shot her once again in the shoulder to once again test her humanity. She didn't scream but cried. She said that I killed her baby. She ran to the alley and has been crying with it ever since. Jason, Phil, what the f*** has this s***ty world come to?" Donovan turned to them, still covered in blood. As he stood. The woman got up and dropped the infant. She then walked towards Donovan.

Still running, Jack looked to Hazma.

 

"Ricks group should be just around here."

 

He glanced back.

 

"Its all gone silent back there... Do you think Donovan made it?"

Venkat sighed. "I knew it was a bad idea to leave him alone. Oh well."

He glanced up ahead. "So...where is Rick's group again?"

[Croaks 251]

"Well," Hamza said, "Donovan's a badass, but that won't help him out. I sure hope he's still alive and not bitten."

Hamza, Venkat, and Jack find Rick's group. Rick and his group aims at them and yells, "STOP! Are you Donovan's group?

"D-dont shoot! We are Donovans group!" Jack shouted, raising his arms cautiously.

 

"W-we had to leave Donovan behind... We dont know if he's still alive..."

"Yeah!" Hamza said, "Donovan stayed behind. Two others went back for him!"

Hamza runs up to him.

Phil stared into empty space with an unreadable expression. Inside, he was both angry and sad. "...what should we do?"

Hamza runs up to him. Rick actually takes a shot but luckily misses.

"What the f**k, man?!"

"I don't know, shes not a walker but I don't think she even has a thread of humanity anymo-" The woman jumps on Donovan and bites a chunk of his arm out.

Donovan shoots her in the head with his handgun. He is in great pain. As far as you know, Donovan will not become a walker. Rick's group may or may not have a medic.

"HOLY SH*T!" Phil Yells in exclamation. "D... Donovan, are you okay?"
