I know. So i also sarcastically responded to your sarcasm while simultaneously posting a canon scene of Pinkie Pie being called by her full name for those who may have missed it or forgotten.

Seriously, after seeing the episode which mentioned Pinkie's full name I see her family as more like the Amish in image rather than sad. As they are referred to as the plain people, and her family is plain. While Pinkie is the life of the party. Pinkie learned friendship brings out the best in her, and if you watched the entire episode you would have noticed her family enjoyed the family she created at the rock farm.

 

As for her actions in "Party of One", she is a lot like me at times unsure if people like her or not. So will choose to be a wall flower and hide from others. I don't see it as evil, more like she is misunderstood. 

 

This is my opinion, take it or leave it. As it is ether right or wrong it just is.... .

*Clears Throat* What evil one? If you are referring to 'Cupcakes' then stop now. There is a big difference between Cupcakes Pinkamena and cannon Pinkamena. The real, cannon, Pinkamena is basically a representation of her depression and her want to seek answers. Like a previous topic mentions on this, Pinkamena is like a guardian of Pinkie fragile heart. Once she knows her happy self will no longer be harmed, she can smile again. She is more misunderstood then what you deemed as 'evil'.

Guys, I know that people people use Pinkamena as a way to differentiate between depressed and normal pinkie pie, I just don't like that Pinkie's real name is used. I get that is used I just don't get why that name in particular, this is the fandom that came up with 'Lyra wanting to be a human', and 'Derpy loving Muffins', but we couldn't have come up with something for depressed Pinkie Pie so we just use her real first name instead.

 

I don't get it because its strange by our standards.

I can definitely understand how you feel. Often times the fandom makes mistaken or unwarranted assumptions that often gets asserted as fact among the fans. Sometimes its nice to watch headcannons explode even as the show embraces some of our ideas.

 

The most disgusting thing about the Pinkamena craze is that a lot of fans somehow also thought that Maud Pie, because of her behavior that's similar to the Rock Farm family and hence associated with the name Pinkamena, had a mental disorder and was socially awkward and unlikable. Its really hypocritical. The fandom doesn't mind someone like Derpy and defend her to death for her "deviant" appearance and behavior, which is fine. Yet when it comes to someone like Maud, who just happens to behave differently from the Mane 6, especially in an episode that teaches tolerance, some fans came out to attack her as being "mentally ill" and socially inept.

 

You should learn to watch and enjoy the show as you see fit, not how others try to force feed it on you, not even the writers.

actually I dunno were the mule thing came from or maybe its because mules are slow or something I dunno but like I said eerpy was very nearly destroyed and this is why fans got right up and screamed hasbro back to earth so to speak. Its because they dont understand her character. I have met many like her well not pink or with bubbly hair but yeah they can be odd but amazing and pretty smart. If you dont understand something do not make the mistake of wrongly assuming you do as assume makes an ass out of u and me ass u me.
