RainbowdashFTW 50 September 13, 2014 Share September 13, 2014 (edited) This is to all all the antibronies: Who gives a crap about what you think? Honestly, the only thing you do is create new bronies. Someone didn't think that through! And we're not gay, or pedos. I'm a rapper for pete's sake. Why did i post this? There are antibronies on these forums. It's just so likely. P.S. if you are an antibrony reading this, watch an episode. Agree with you bro, this is an idea that society has created a long time on many people especially Bronys for the design deal with a topic that I find very relevant (they have overcome the mental age), the company created a thing idiot that is colorful Gay and pedophiles who are for some reason without a fucking reason. Odyssey 5,716 September 13, 2014 Share September 13, 2014 (edited) I agree, these generalisations get irritating quick. I do laugh them off, however. So there are anti-bronies on these forums. Honestly, I don't mind. Some of them are probably here to just talk and have a good time. I won't stop any of them from talking. I won't force my love on MLP: FiM on them either. If an anti-brony wants to have a good time on a forum, let them be. Most of the anti-bronies I see on these forums aren't insulting others, anyway. Ziggy + Angel + Rain 11,302 September 13, 2014 Share September 13, 2014 And we're not gay... I understand the spirit behind your post, but I just wanted to say a quick thing or two. This isn't an attack nor am I necessarily disagreeing with your post as a whole: Some Bronies ARE gay. And there's nothing whatsoever wrong with being gay. Or Brony. Or a gay Brony. Nothing. Being called "gay" shouldn't even be regarded as an insult. It should be as harmless and ineffectual as someone calling you "left-handed." That's all I wanted to say. xD 2 "It uses the faculty of what you call imagination. But that does not mean making things up. Discordian 6,015 September 13, 2014 Share September 13, 2014 PSA-type topics like this are kind of annoying. You think you're doing anyone any favors by talking to people who aren't necessarily going to see this? It's like going on Facebook and saying some random BS and expecting anyone but your followers to pay attention. You keep on doing what you do but know that shout outs like this aren't going to do anything but reaffirm your own stance and get a bunch of circlejerkers in here saying they agree with you. You're also not doing anyone any favors by defending baseless insults like pedoism and homosexuality [negative connotation] that are mostly said by people who don't even want to understand or are trying to rile people up. If you're going to debate about anti-brony sentiments you should be targeting actual legitimate topics such as the potential reduction of masculinity, which some believe to be a necessary part of society for reasons other than "because it's gay", or the idolatry of a cartoon over real life events, which extends to more than just MLP but the franchise's sudden popularity is lending a great force to those who practice it. It's a waste of your own brain power to defend with reason against an insult that was not created with reason in the first place.
remove p l e a s e ? 800 September 13, 2014 Share September 13, 2014 Well, I'm more of a "neutral brony." Yes, I'm still a brony, and I collect merchandise sometimes. No, I do not hate anti-bronies, in fact I can kind of understand what they mean. Because I've been there, so I understand, accept, and welcome them. Really, it doesn't depend on if someone is or is not a brony, it relies more on the attitude they give. Sometimes, there can be just as nasty bronies as there are nasty haters. 1 out of my swamp

Dashie23 103 September 13, 2014 Share September 13, 2014 I lost over 65 reddit karma by saying I was a brony. Although Reddit isn't a brony site... Thanks to Altrunchen for creating both the banner and my avatar!
FoxyCryptid 4,330 September 13, 2014 Share September 13, 2014 I see both sides of the coin because there are some fandoms I'm less than thrilled with, but at the same time I don't assume each member of them I meet is in the bad portion by default and take every chance to mock them(Otakus are BIG ONE I feel this way about, even though I love anime and JRPGs) I lost over 65 reddit karma by saying I was a brony. Although Reddit isn't a brony site... I got downvotes on a comment saying sex-offenders deserve the abuse they get, so I tend to take Reddit with a grain of salt. duidamasterXD 9,627 September 13, 2014 Share September 13, 2014 The subject of this topic has little potential to spark discussion between many members and, as such, would be better suited to a status update or a blog. When creating a thread, please remember that the goal is to start a conversation with room for many people to chime in and give their own viewpoints on, and that sharing events of an anecdotal nature would be better done elsewhere.
