"I have to tearing it down without a big scene being made because there is somepony I can't allow to find out I'm out to destroy it", she said mentally kicking herself for answering his questions. "Look, I was trying be nice when I continued our conversation and look where it got us. You're freaking put out and I'm pissed off" she huffed.

"Then I apologize for interfering with something I shouldn't have, it wasn't my place to do so. If I had known it was with something this serious, I would have stopped myself in the beginning." *He said calmly, trying not to get her even more upset.* "I won't say a word to anypony about what was discussed here."

"You know, I could easily make sure of that...with a little electrocution, that is", she said forming a vibrant blue lightning bolt between her forehoofs then suddenly dissapating it. "Actually I'm kinda glad I could to you about this...get it off my chest...and by the way, you're a nobody...nopony would believe it if you told them anyway...no offense".

*He shrugged.* "Meh, I know, I don't have many friends, and they're in Cloudsdale, so I'm mostly quiet." *He said, acknowledging his social status.* "But nopony in the right mind would play around with a situation like this for fun, so it'd might work, who knows? Miracles do happen."

She was about to fly off but the bit about all of his. friends being in Cloudsdale stopped her dead in her tracks. She felt bad for him and she hated pitying ponies because then she felt obliged to try to help them. "Why didn't you stay in Cloudsdale with all your friends", she asked in much more docile tone.

*He hesitated and telling, but felt it obliged to, since what she told him.* "It wasn't necessarily my friends, more of... My family..." *He said with a hint of sadness in his voice.* "Mainly my brother. That's why I'm out here." *He motioned to the woods behind him.* "To help clear my mind about him and my family."

"Oh. Did something happen between you and your brother that made you leave or was it something else", she asked trying not to be too prying in on hos personal life. She figured she had probably pressed too deeply with the question but figured it was with what he now knew about her.

*He sighed.* "No, more of the fact he left me. He ran away from home when I was younger. He was a stubborn idiot, didn't want to go to flight school. He left in the middle of the night without saying a word. We were close, did every thing together, and he left without a word. Haven't seen him since." *He said, giving her the gist of what happened.*

"Oh....sorry I asked. Wait...he didn't go to flight school... when was this....don't bother asking why .....I just need to know when this was and what he looked like", she said shaking as she began to think the worst. "All exam failures are sent to the factory...and he didn't do flight school, then he couldn't have passed", she said to herself hoping he didn't overhear.

*He chuckled half heartedly.* "I know what you're thinking, if he got sent to the factory or not. It happened 5 years ago, and he looks just like me, except with a red coat, green eyes, and shorter mane than mine. But I know my brother, he wouldn't give up without a fight, and he was a tough one." *He said. He sighed and continued.* "But things have shown to not go my way half the time."

She sighed slightly as she listened. "How do I get myself into these things", she asked herself. "Well, I feel you either way. It has to suck, losing your brother like that", she said in a tone that suggested that she knew the feeling all too well. She clapped her hooves together and a rain cloud appeared above them and started pouring.

"Yeah, it did." *He looked up as it started to rain and smiled.* "I always loved the rain. It's very relaxing, very soothing." *He said as he got drenched by the water.* "And when it's over, the fresh smell of after rain is always pleasant." *He continued as he shook his mane, ruffled his wings, and squished his tail back and forth.* "Plus it feels nice." *He added.*

"I love the rain too, Blue boy...probably the best thing in this world", she said before flapping into the air momentarilly and sitting down next to him before she even realized she had. She flipped her wings into an outward position to let them soak not caring that she would eventually have to let them dry.

(Funny you used Blue Boy, a friend of mine calls me that from time to time xD )

 

*He looked over at her, letting herself get soaked in the rain and her out spread wings. He could feel a bit of blush rush up to his face, and shook his head.* "Definitely the best thing in this world." *He said, with a smile.*

"Its all the beauty and raw power of nature in one little droplet....its just amazing", she said tilting her wings ever so slightly to allow the raindrops to roll down them between her individual feathers. She was still playing with a lightning bolt between her hooves not caring about possible electrocution.

*He nodded in agreement.* "Mhm." *He then outstretched his own wings to get them a bit wet as well, then decided to take off his hoodie to let the rest of his body experience the rain.* "Ahhhh...." *He said.* "That feels marvelous. Like a shower in nature." *He said, letting the water flow over his back.*

"Yeah, I know, right", she agreed finally dissapating her lightning. bolt after deciding that death by electrocution was not something she wanted to experience first hoof. She looked at him without his hoodie on and grinned. "Who are you and where's Blue", she teased.

"What?" *He looked at her and saw her grinning.* "Oh hush you!" *He said with a laugh as he playfully shoved Storm's shoulder.* "Just because I don't have my hoodie on doesn't make me a different pony. It just makes me... look different." *He said as he looked into his reflection in the water, noticing the change in appearance.*

She zapped him with a tiny lightning bolt right on the shoulder to get back at him for shoving her. "She stuck her tounge out at him playfully and looked at his new appearence more closely. "No offense but your cutie mark is almost as lame as the story as to how you got it.

"Ow!"*He helped as he grasped his shoulder. He rolled his eyes and chuckled.* "And there it is. I get it, I'm not not very interesting. Just a lonely nerd who keeps to himself in Ponyville. Anything else you'd like to say?" *He added with a joking smirk, seeing if there's any other insults she could throw at him, not that they'd hurt or anything.*

Storm had curled up right where the rain was falling. She looked back at Blue with her own smirk. "Well, if you're lonely then maybe you should make a friend", she said thinking if she had any more insults or jokes and found that sadly, she was out of ideas.

"He looked off at the water's surface, watching the ripples of the raindrops disrupt the water. And something came to mind.* "Friendship is like a pond ripple." *He whispered to himself, and looked at Storm Strafe.* "It starts out rough, but then smoothes out in time." *He then cleared his throat.* "Well in that case, how would you like to be my first friend in Ponyville?" *He asked aloud, with a sincere smile.*

"That was kind of what I getting at you dummy", she said poking him in the chest with her forehoof. She looked at him and smiled thatched had asked. She didn't why but enjoyed spending time with Blue. She had subconsciously put a wing just barely over him. "So, friends?".

He then started thinking to himself.* "You know, at first she comes off as unpleasant, but once you get past that-" *He looked at Storm.* "You get one nice mare." *He stood up and shook himself off of all the water that had decided to make his coat their home.* "Heh, once I get home, I'm going to need a proper shower."

She moved the wing over him like an umbrella as she was planning to do in the first place after watching him shaking off the water. "This way the poor little pony doesn't get too wet", she teased him. "Oh yeah... sorry I can't make hygiene products, just storms...so sorry".
