It's the nature of these debates. Like Death Battle, all restrictions preventing characters from hurting each other are removed. You just measure the best the characters have done, and try to come to a concise answer. At least, that's how it's supposed to work.

thats more like him being an ass hole. He didnt beat the crap out of batman and from that it looks like he didn't have much of a good reason for the fight any way. he could just leave batman to his personal business or try to find out a more civil way to deal with the matter

It's still kind of wonky though, because where they're fighting and what led up to it will likely have an effect on any fight between these characters.

 

If you just want to say Superman is capable of instantly disintegrating a pony then sure he could. But the why of the situation is a big factor. As was mentioned earlier if he is being mind-controlled he'll be trying to fight it.

 

It could also come down to whose home turf he's fighting on. If he's in his own universe he'd definitely have an advantage, but if he's in Equestria the inherent "niceness" of the place might make it impossible to seriously harm others.

Yeah working together the Mane 6 could give him a friendship blast to the face, which seems to trump even the most powerful enemies.

 

I could see Superman starting a fight with the Mane 6 and end with them all being best friends. Friendship is Magic!

well superman could be completely unaware of celest being responsible for the sun she could just secretly help twilight and making the sun red does not mean its a read giant, and well celest would not need to turn the sun red she could just not rise it for a very long period of time.
