colts lose eyelashes?

All colts have a single eyelash but they lose it at a later age, any pony think this is slightly odd?

Maybe, but eyelashes in cartoons nowadays are USUALLY used to just identify females... and really cute things, despite gender (ie, a kitten). So, I guess foals might have one, but to show the fact they're male as they get older they don't have one anymore. Masculinity, I guess?

I saw in some cartoons, males have no eyelashes, and females have eyelashes. But its pretty weird if they actually lose eyelashes. Im just gonna guess... animation error.

They're guys in a cartoon. No eyelashes. I think those were an animation error, as no other colts have them.

Babies have to be cute! It is like, a requirement or something! Maybe it is just something that happens to support that purpose, and grown stallions are just supposed to look less cute.... We will never know...
