Founding Ponyville

So...am I the only one who's ever thought, "If I get rich, I'm buying tons of land, and making a town called Ponyville"? If only we could all band together, save up money and work together.   I would move my family there in a heartbeat. Think of how happy and friendly the town would be and how easily you could depend on your neighbors in rough situations. There would be no hatred and judgement, just love and friendship, and every time somepony moved to town, we would throw a party. *Sighs* A gal can dream.

So what would you guys do if it were possible, and what building of Ponyville would you like to claim for yourself? I think I'd have my heart set on Sweet Apple Acres. Even before FIM, I always thought it would be amazing to have an orchid. I gotta say, I do love Twilight's tree home though.

I would move into that town faster than you could say zap apple jam.

I would claim sugarcube corner since I really love baking sweets  yummy

but Twilight's tree house is really tempting also.

I almost claimed Sugarcube corner since I too love baking, but I'd get so fat eating cupcakes all day. lol Also, I make tasty food, but it's not often the prettiest (my desserts, at least).

I understand, xD going on a diet in such a place would impossible.

but since the baked goods would be made for profit, I don't think I would have to worry too.

every bite is a bit down the drain.

would such a town use us currency or could bits be used like poker coins.

just exchange real money for them and back and forth like that.

that would give bits real world value :)

its fun to think about how such a town could work and how accurate to the show one could get.

We would need a booth where when you move in, you trade in money for bits.  :squee:  All the money traded in could go towards building up and repairing the town. We could run on solar and river power, and sell certain goods to non Ponyville citizens for money to help as well. We could totally make this work. If only I had money.

There was a small, effectively ghost town with a number of small buildings still standing in it on sale in British Columbia for just over a million dollars. Might make a good Ponyville.

Since Sweet Apple Acres was claimed, I'd take the library.

I'd build Ponyville's first ever airport, perhaps even earning the title of Equestria's First Airport.

'Cause you know, between Unicorns and Earth Ponies someone/pony is gonna discover powered flight at some point.

Then create Equestria's first airline company.

I wish I had a million dollars. :(

C'mon people. We need construction ponies. We need Rarity's house claimed. There's burger joints! There's flower stands! There's Zecora's home! All this and much more if you just step on down and take a pick! We guarantee your 100% satisfaction in these new homes. Not everyone can move to this super stupendous, seemingly endless (with joy, that is), one of a kind, refined town.

Luckily for you, we have the thing you need-- *Gets shot*
