How did you find MLP Forums?: Browsing the internet.

How you became a fan of My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic: I first seen the show when some family was over at my house. My niece was watching it in the morning. When I first saw rainbow dash perform the sonic rainboom I thought "Oh my god is this show is amazing!"

I am 14 years old and I am on season 5 of the series. Nobody knows I'm a brony except a few close friends. My parents are clueless on this topic. 

 

 

Just one question: How can I tell my parents I'm a brony without them screaming at me saying only "gay" people watch this? My mom probably wouldn't care and my dad would shoot me. Thanks.

Tell your dad that you learn about friendship. You love it so much that he can't stop you from doing it. Also if people calls you gay, ignore it. Don't worry I hear that everyday (sometimes)

Hello Soulflame! A fellow brony like you is unstoppable and inpenetrable, so you should just go ahead and propose the idea to your father the manliest way you can. That way he'll think twice before associating 'gayness' into MLP. Talk about the fights and the scientific facts in the show, as manly as possible.

 

Here is an example:

 

FATHER! The one I have searched for in this mansion for quite a time now. Must I say that I, >insert name here<, have grown quite the interest in the show for young kids due to its brutal fights and science related. Oh yes, the show is called >insert show name<. Not fitting if you, father, ask I, the son. Now don't be thrown aback yet, father. I have watched a couple of episodes  so far and I can give you insights on some of the action. One episode was about the orange horse, called the tree demolisher, thrown a haymaker into a white creature, rupturing its ribs and distorting its movements. One more episode was about the blue winged horse, called the swiftest, flew so fast it practically shattered the sound barrier in a phenomenon called the sonicboom. There is nothing to fear father as I, >insert name here<, have not even the slightest affection for men. How can we ignore these beautiful women who have >insert women description here<? Must you question my manhood! I'm more of a man than you were when you were my age. In fact, I >insert painful yet manly experience here<. I have not stoop to a degree of homosexuality nor will I ever! FOR MANHOOD FATHER!

Welcome, enjoy your stay! Also just ignore if people call you gay, my whole school knows I watch mlp and I get called gay and nots saying kill yourself but I don't really care, because mlp makes me happy so I'm fine and also good luck

I had a fear of being made fun of about watching MLP also by my family, but they found out about it and they don't care if I watch it, my dad told me he's fine with me watching MLP since he likes to watch Power Puff Girls (a bit of my personal life there), also welcome to the forums.
