((OOC: Shortly. I have one more event until we switch.))

Just the flickering of amber light in the ember. The winds soft howl but the comfort of their blanket held them to each other in warmth.

"Sweet dearest sister..." A soft faint whisper could be heard in her dreams. And oddly, very familiar.

"Please come home." The female voice could be heard again, her tone filled with immense saddness.

A startle! An echoing rumble could heard awakening her from her sleep, now awake in reality she could hear again the distant rumble followed by distant voices. Bishop remained fast asleep unaware of what is happening.

Celestia looked around in shocked silence, deepened by the sound of her heart pounding in her chest. Cold sweat beaded on her forehead, and thunder rumbled in the distance.

That voice! She was sure she had heard it before. The little filly replayed it in her mind over and over, desperate to hear it again...desperate for little wisps of memory.

"Sister..."

What did that voice mean? Why did it sound so...sad?

"...please..."

Celestia broke into tears, sobbing violently to her own surprise. She pounded Bishop's chest with her hooves. Wake up! Wake up!

"...come home."

Bishop disturbed rapidly from slumber awoke immediately with a shudder and gasp, quickly grabbing Tia into his arm protectively.

His sense quickly returned with the beating of his deep adrenaline. Another bang, but not of gunshot. Bishop let go and quickly looked out the window.

Ahead he could see the faint smoke of an engine, followed by several figures. Humans, other survivors. And each armed to the teeth with various weapons.

"trouble." He says audibly but quietly. He noticed the tears in the filly's eyes.

"Tia." He whispers and picks her up holding her close.

"We gotta go.before they find us." He says putting her down and quickly begins stuffing things into their bag as fast as possible.

"Come on boys check out that there station see for anything." Voices could be heard.

Celestia's head was in a tizzy. First the dream, then the memories, and now she could hear voices...and they were getting closer. She shuddered nervously as the tears continued to wet her cheeks. Who were these voices? Other people? Bad people? She looked at Bishop, who was hurriedly packing their things, and stuck close to him as the footsteps and voices began closing in.

Now with bag fully stuffed with various bits he picks up the princess pony. The foot steps now close. As inaudible as possible he heads out the back entrance.

Past the runned down hall they find themselves faced now with the snow forest ahead as the walls of their shelter inside come down.

No choice left this was about their only choice until...

"Howdy mister." A voice spoke, chills immediately overcame him.

Slowly he turned around coming face to their adversary.

This man lacked facial hair, an old trucker hat sitting on his head, a think plaid shirt and jeans with a pair of heavy snow boots are his apparel.

And in his hands pointing directly at Bishop was a large bladed knife.

"You been camping here sur?" His odd accent notable.

"Hey, I don't want any trouble." Bishop replied.

The strange man examined Bishop then down to Celestia, his gaze, with this eerie madness to it. Completely devoid of curiosity and more of hunger.

"What's that you got?" He asks inching closer, Bishop backed up. Tia could feel the grip tightening around her, Bishops muscles tensing.

"Don't lay a hand on her." He says.

"You look kinda hungry.. You know we got some food at the truck. She'd make a good trade-"

The word "trade" pinged in him.

"Hush your mouth." Bishop hissed aggressively.

"Aww you don't gotta be like." The man replied, a smug grin on his face.

There was a scream in the air, a female. The man immediately looked in its direction. With the quick opportunity Bishop dropped Tia, and the bag plunging forward in a ground tackle.

Lifting the stranger by his legs and now upon him he straddles placing a knee and foot onto the attackers forearms to hold him. His hands gripped tightly around the throat attempting to silence him.

Under him the stranger struggled violently but effort he reared his armed hand plugging the blade deep into Bishops thigh.

Immense pain and burning filled his sensations.

With his grip loosened the man kicks away Bishop trying to gain his breath. Bishop let out quiet sharp grunt as bangs against the station wall quickly scrambling for his pistol.

The man now on his feet turns to the wounded Bishop.

The scene playing before Tia seemed to almost slowed as the climax approached. Bishop raised the crude revolver now at point blank. The stranger too late to know his mistake.

A brilliance of light and crackling ripple as the round rips through the man.

He immediately collapses. Now dead.
