"Ah, whiskey," Refund said as he raised his glass. "I'm a martini stallion myself but you sure can't go wrong with the straight liquor." He sipped his whiskey, the buzz already drowned out from the martini he had before. "So, you're a partner. What kind of ownership ratio are we talking?"

"Too bad," Ruby told Anala, noticing her cutie mark. "I would have loved to see you use him as an archery target. Sometimes I wish my talent would help me save my life. Manedressing isn't really that useful if a mugger's after you. I do keep a bottle of mane spray for emergencies, though."

Anala's eyes widened in shock. "What the... I would never shoot him!" she said, horrified. "I mean, yeah, I was pretty pissed off with the guy, but I wouldn't stick an arrow into him!"

She got up turned to Sakuya. "If you wanna hear about it, come over to that table with me. I wanna get away from Miss Bloodthirsty over here."

"It's about fifty fifty. But Ennex well be getting more of the pot. Me and my family well be getting a smaller half, but with a few benefits. You see, my family aren't like all the others. My old man always says  greed is a good thing, but only in a good amount of moderation. If you're too greedy, you'll wend up dead. Or worse. We may not be the biggest or richest family in the city. But we're most certainly the strongest." He said and then drank his whiskey in one gulp.

Refund savored his whiskey, letting the booze slowly take control of his vocal chords. "Yeah, well, here's the thing. If it's 50-50 as you say, then the benefits should even everything out. I've been in accounting for fifteen years, I know how owner's stakes should work. Of course for clearing the building, Ennex has a few benefits lined up for me, too, but I don't ask for much in return."

Taking a long, slow drink, Ennex savored the taste of the whisky.  "Excellent," he muttered.  "Besides," he replied to the two stallions, "fair is fair.  Malachi will be providing much assistance in this project.  But since I'm fronting the cash for the property, not to mention the warehouse of gaming machines I've got in storage, I'd expect the slightly larger share in return.  Not to mention operating expenses, which I'll be handling.  Besides, once the new place gets hopping, we'll have enough profits to share that it won't make a difference anyway."

"It was quite an interesting roster of ponies I met that day," said Anala. "Most of the things I'm gonna say probably sound like bull, but I swear on my parents' life that what I am about to tell you is 100% fact."

"One of the ponies, who happened to be a traveling minstrel playing songs, was a Crystal Pony. And not just that; she was a unicorn. A crystal unicorn! How often do you come across one of those?"

"Not long after we got shrunk, a snake appeared. I ran up and punched it right in the face, but that just angered it further. Good thing we were able to blind it with a leaf and lull it to sleep with magic from the two unicorns."

"Punched it in the face..." Sakuya repeated with a laugh, "why can I totally see you doing that!  Too bad you didn't have some of those trick arrows that have lines in them.  You could have fired one and wrapped that snake up in no time!"

"Yes, I hope that he is," replied Ennex, glancing at the stage as the music changed.  "Profits should be high enough to provide for all of us, and cover and additional....expenses."  He waved over at the bartender, who nodded, knowing what the blue stallion would want.  "And once we get going, perhaps we can attract some high-society clients.  Rumor has it that after her first Nightmare Night, Princess Luna is fond of games.  A client like that would really bring in business!"

Anala tilted her head. "Trick arrows?" she restated. "Nah, don't have 'em. I only shoot at a straight target, so I doubt lined trick arrows would be suited for that."

"Why do you bring it up? Do you and Ennex happen to have any?" she asked. "I wouldn't mind buying some from you."

"No, we don't have any, but I bet I could get some," Sakuya replied.  "Just let me know what you'd like, or rather, what you'd like them to be able to do.  I'm sure we have somepony on payroll who could make arrows like that.  Ennex seems to have a go-to-pony for just about everything."  She paused, took a drink, then continued.  "I've been with him for a long time, but still don't know everything about the Organization.  He just decided a few weeks ago to start training me for a second-in-command position, so I'm leaning about resources we have that he kept secret from me before."  Hearing Riley's shout, she quickly turned to see the commotion, and laughed.  "Nice catch you have there," she smiled back at Anala...

Agreeing with Sakuya's opinion about Riley, Anala looked at her Pegasus friend. "Sure, why not?" she said. She had wiped the blood off herself, and aside from some bruises and cuts, she seemed fine. Refund meanwhile picked up his whiskey glass and approached Ennex. "I don't know," he said. "This music's kinda fast but I'll get used to it. I let my wife lead on account of this gimpy leg." He looked at his right hind leg as he tapped it against the floor.

Ruby approached Refund's other side at the mention of Princess Luna. She had not heard much about the casino her husband helped put into action but the mention of the night princess perhaps coming there drew her in. "Suuuuure," she chimed. "After all, somepony who's been on the moon for a thousand years needs a little fun once in a while, am I right?"

"Ruby?" Refund stared into her bloodshot eyes. "How much have you had to drink?"

"Half a dozen roses," she beamed at her husband.

After a bit, the group started to approach a nice looking building that had a large sign on the front that says 'The Gomorrah lounge'. " Well hear it is, my pride and joy. I put more work into this place then all my other businesses. It has great food, great drink, great entertainment and a large high class gambling din underneath it."

Malachi turned around to face the group and did a bow while holding out a hoof showing the door. "Welcome, ladies and gents to The Gomorrah lounge." He straighten up, turned around and opened the large doors.

When he did the sounds of some oldies swing could be heard. Inside they could see a stage with a band and a singer up front. There was also a dance floor were a group of ponies were dancing. Around the dance floor was a few dozen tables and chairs were everyone was enjoying their  meals. At the far corner a bar could be seen with shelves filled with high class liquor. The colors of the Semi family could be seen every as well. On the ground was a large red carped that had the Semi family's crest of a demon eye on it.

Hell, we even have bluegrass, folk, Celtic and opera  performance. But this place will never play pop, county or easy listening." His eye twitched. "I detest the clarinet."
