open A Hoof in Two Worlds

"From the road I was on. To obtain more strength I had to go to hell, but I didn't know that obtaining it would change me. After I changed I didn't mind anymore about changing more. I gained werewolf powers, superhuman powers and now I am hunting for a vampire. I can choose which form I want to look like, but to unleash my real power I need to transform into the form from which I originally gained the power from. Are you ready for a show?"

 

Eps made the chakrams dissapear and started to scream like he is powering up. A strange energy flew through the room. All devices that used electricity to work turned on out of nowhere as Eps kept on screaming.

Slowly the coat he was wearing changed into demonic wings, his clothes and skin transformed so it looked like he was wearing some sort of dark coloured armor and he slowly started to look like a true demon.

 

Once he was done transforming, he looked like a demon knight. He held so much energy that red, blue and yellow eletricity jumped from one side of his body to the other, every single device in the house was turned on.

"I am very powerfull right now but I can only do this for a limited time. It's very tiring when I do this."

Soprano, sitting, started to scoot away during Eps' transformation period, scared of what was coming. What he saw afterwards just terrified him even more, but also interested him. He stopped scooting backwards. "... how is any of this possible..." he said, standing up, slowly walking around Eps, looking.

Eps also started to wonder how it was possible. All he remembered was that he did what a book of black arts told him to do and it worked. After obtaining simple strength he kept on going until he turned into this but he didn't had an explanation himself either.

Eps his body started to get it heavy because he was in his demon form right now. Quickly, Eps transformed back.

Alex was walking in the woods near his house, there wasn't much there

((OOC: Except for a group of break-dancing squirrels! Kidding again!)),

he had been walking for about half an hour or so when he tripped on a tree root, and splashed into a pond,

even though it was cool outside, the pool felt warm, Alex realised that he was falling, falling through a blinding light,

it was getting hotter and hotter, he couldn't move, but he felt like he was melting away, he couldn't feel his fingers or toes anymore.

 

Alex panicked as he suddenly regained control, he felt a cool breeze whipping past his face, his senses were still blurred,

he could hardly see, he reached out and tried to grab something, and he did.

When he opened his eyes he realized he was holding on to a lamp post. He panicked again and accidentally let go, landing on his back. He got himself up, and saw the lamp post was in a narrow space between 2 buildings, and was fairly dark.

Beyond that was a street, he walked out onto it, extremely confused. Everything was so bright and colourful, and he still didn't know where he was.

After sitting on the cloud for awhile, Lightning decided he was going to fly around and see if he could find somewhere to sleep. Being new to the town he wasn't sure where he would be able to take a nap. 

 

His mind was running circle's in his head and he was still trying to grasp on the reality that he wasn't in his world anymore. Granted he has come a little more attuned to the whole thing, he was still bothered at the hole situation.

 

"Well, I guess I'll fly around here, hopefully I'll run into somepony else that can point me in the right direction to settle down for a few hours." 

 

After a few minutes of flying Lightning found a house in the sky, not to bad of a building. He decided to fly towards it and see if anybody lived there. Once he landed on the steps of the house he knocked on the door. After a few seconds of waiting nobody answered. He decided to wait for the pony who lived there and fell asleep on the front steps.

Eps shaked his sadness and sorrow off and started to laugh.

"Hahaha! the only thing that counts for you is that place isn't it? You keep on asking: "What is this place, where is that place, is it the place you talked bout before" It's getting old but it still is funny to hear how deperate you are to find out." Said Eps with a joking voice.

 

"Very well then."

Eps snaps with his fingers and 3 doors appeared. they all looked the same except for one thing. They had different symbols on the door.

 

"Behind these doors are fragments of my memories, it are memories of a small part of the place I was talking about. The goal here is that you enter all 3 doors and complete the trials. Once that is done, a door will appear that will lead you into a memory of the complete area but this time as clear as the purest water. No walls, no limits, it's just you and a clear vision of the place I was talking about."

 

Eps now slowly started to smile.

"Or I just lead you to the real one right now."

Eps snaps with his fingers and the same cards as before shows up.

"Let's play this game again."

 

A card with a symbol of a castle appeared too so now there are 5 cards.

"You see, in my memories you may encounter enemies, I never really had a easy life, so you can use these weapons to protect yourself. The card you pick decides your weapon you get but there are also 2 other cards, if you get the card with the castle I will take you to the area this instant with no trouble, but if you pick the card with the door, I make you leave the building and you won't find out a thing about this place I am talking about. Let's get started."

 

The cards start moving again until they are in one row.

"Pick your card."

Soprano hadn't gotten perplexed this time, he grew to expect this stuff from him. He looked at the cards carefully, and remembered the laws of probability: don't keep guessing lucky numbers. He started to count nearby objects, modulo 5. The result was 2.

 

"The second card from the left."

Eps looks at Soprano with a smile and sais: "I hope that you understand why I play these games."

 

Eps snaps his finger so the second card from the left started to levitate a bit to show Soprano which card he picked.

"2nd card from left, 4th card from right, one left from the middle. Do you  agree or do you want to change, once chosen you can not change it."

"I'm fine with that card." he said,  not looking under, thinking. Whatever I get wouldn't impact me later on... it's just a weapon. he thought, still staying at the cards. "Yes, please. I want a surprise this time." he said. (OOC: Have you ever heard of the Monte Hall problem?)

Eps snaps his finger to flip the card.

This time, the card with the shield revealed.

"You got the shield. It has no great magic powers but it does have reasonable strength  with a great denfense. The shield can be used to block an enemies attack when used right."

 

A light started to come out of the card until a shield flew put of the card. The shield was like a true knight shield. A square shape on the top and a triangle shape on the bottom and big enough to cover the chest till the knee but still as light as a feather.

It was coloured blue on the sides and black in the middle with a white symbol on the middle of the shield, on the front that looks like half moon.

 

The On the left of the shield, a wand appeared that was a white coloured stick with a yellow sun symbol on the top and on the rght, the sword became visible, it had gold pommel, a purple handle, a gold gaurd with in the middle of the gaurd a symbol of a purple star with a white star behind it, with a silver fuller, blade and point.

 

The weapons revealed itself for a few seconds and then dissapeared except for the shield. The cards faded away and now Soprano had to enter one of the doors. The very left door had a symbol of buildings, the middle door had 2 swords crossing eachother and the last door had some sort od tree, almost like some sort of forest.

 

"Go ahead, you have a weapon, enter my memory."

As if this could get weirder... he thought, thinking of the door to go through. ...Probably the buildings....? Seems the safest... He looked at the shield's symbolism.

 

He slowly walked towards the door, thinking of a way all of this was even going on. He opened the door.

Out of every direction, large monsters start to show up except for one way that is so build that it is perfect for parkour running.

A plank was leaning on the side of a building so it was easy to run up it and there were open windows and other things that could be used for parkour.

Soprano's eyes slowly adjusted to the sunlight of the marketplace, slowly seeing everything. He looked behind himself, holding his hand to his face to help him see. He saw the approaching perpetrators.

Spellbind didn't really have much to do. She might have liked to talk with Lightning Crasher, but he was nowhere to be found.

 

She decided she would go over to Storm Shine and Pinkie Pie. So she did, standing beside them hoping a god conversation would spark.

"Hiya Spellbind!" Pinkie greeted. "Want a cupcake?" She asked, holding a cupcake in front of Spellbind's face.

 

Storm chuckled, "I think she'd rather have a muffin Pinkie..." He said, pushing Pinkie's hoof away and replacing it with his own muffin-laden one.

 

Pinkie glared playfully at her coltfriend, "Cupcake!"

 

"Muffin!"

 

"CUPCAKE!"

 

"MUFFIN!"

 

They mock-glared for a couple of minutes before falling over and laughing hysterically. "S-sorry about that Spellbind, but if there's one thing we disagree on: It's whether muffins or cupcakes are better." Pinkie informed the mare, beginning to calm down from her laughing fit.

 

"Yep! Pinkie just can't seem to accept that muffins are the superior food-group." Storm added jokingly, playfully poking Pinkie's arm.

 

"I'll show you superior!" Pinkie shouted, grinning before tackling Storm with a quickly uttered battle-cry of 'rawr!'. The ensuing dust-cloud of flailing limbs probably looked quite hilarious.

Spellbind simply looked at the display witha confused expression. "I think I'll just have a cookie," she said, not wanting to be biased for or against either of them. So she grabbed one from a plate on the refreshments table.

 

"It tastes a lot better than what we have back in my world," she commented.

Pinkie's face soured just a bit at the mention of human bakeries before brightening again, "Of course it does!" She chirped, "We only use 100% completely natural ingredients in all of our recipes! None of that yucky artificial stuff that most humans seem to use."

Waking up from his nap he looked in the sky, "I wonder how long I've been asleep?". Lightning left the steps of the house and decided to go back down to street to find something to eat.

 

After landing he decided to make his way over to where Pinkie and Storm headed off too. He didnt have very far to walk when he saw Spellbind. He walked over to the area, an waited for an opportunity to speak. "I'm sorry about that everybody, but I fell asleep on a cloud, do any of you have something to eat, I'm starving"

"Oh, oh! Have a cupcake!" Pinkie offered, holding out one for Lightning.

 

"And a muffin!" Storm added, holding out a muffin with a big grin. "Muffins are the best foodgroup after all!"

"Muffins!"

 

"Cupcakes!"

 

"How about we let Lightning break the tie?" Storm suggested.

 

Pinkie nodded before turning to Lightning expectantly. "That sounds like a good idea."

"Well thank you for the offer, I like both Cupcakes and muffins, but, im going to have to go with the muffin. To me they taste better then cupcakes, " Lightning said as he grabbed the muffin from Storm, "Sorry Pinkie, Nothing against you. Ill eat your cupcake later tho,"

 

Lightning takes a couple bites out of the muffin and begins to chew, "I love this muffin, what you put init?" Lightning asked as he finished it up. "Oh and by the way, i forgot to ask you this earlier, but i need to find a place to stay, don't want to become a freeloader on someponies door step again."

Pinkie pouted slightly, turning her head away from Lightning. Storm chuckled, pulling her into a hug. "Don't mind her, she's not really upset."

 

Pinkie attempted to stifle her giggles in Storm's shoulder. "Am too~!" She tried sounding sad, but it was ruined by the giggles she continued to make.

 

"Anyways... that was my rainbow muffin, made in retaliation to Pinkie's Rainbow Cupcake." The blue pony smiled, "It has a bit of everything, and believe me you... It took a long to make the flavors blend just right."

"Its not bad, it has a strange taste to it, but man is it good," Lightning said as he licked his muzzle, "oh, and Pinkie, I'm sorry, can I have one of your cupcakes? I don't want to give only one pony credit." Lightning didn't want to look like a pig but he just wanted to give everypony a fair opportunity.

Pinkie produced a Rainbow Cupcake before handing it over. "Mine's a bit different from Stormy's... Half the flavor is in the bread, the other half is in the frosting. It was easier to blend than Stormy's too, since I used less flavors and paired them differently." She explained as her muzzle formed a wide, beaming smile.

Lightning grabbed the cupcake from Pinkies Hoof, "I'm always in to trying new things," Lightning took a bite from it, trying to figure out the taste. After taking a couple more bites, Lightning tossed the rest of it in his mouth, "you know, that was pretty good. I was i had someone who could bake like that. Although I usually make my own food."
