Do Girls Even Like MLP

Arctofire

Recommended Posts

I have seen mutiple girls in my high school wearing pony merch, from "deal with it" to simply a pony backpack.

I have seen one guy dress up as shining armor with his girlfriend as cadence on halloween, but thats it for the guys.

In real life, I only know 1 male brony. I know tons on this forum but in real life, I mostly only know girl bronies. I don't think the difference of girls to boys that like mlp is that far away or at least as far away as you think. I guarantee you that a lot of girls like the show and the there are nearly as many girl bronies as boys. The only reason boy bronies get all the attention is because people don't expect boys to like a "girly" show like mlp and when girls like it, it's expected. I'm not saying I like that fact, I'm just saying it's true.

Well that's a silly question...

I think there may be a lot more female fans than any of us could ever guess. I say that because I'm sure there's a lot of casual to moderate female fans out there who enjoy watching the show but would never think about becoming Pegasisters or becoming members of a site like this because: reasons.

Then, there's probably those who wouldn't mind becoming a Pegasister but, perhaps, they haven't had contact with other Bronies/Pegasisters so they may not be aware of this site.

Then, as I've said before in other posts, they may be reluctant to become involved in the fandom because of the absolutely horrible reputation that trolls and other slightly subhuman creatures have given to the fandom.

Still, I do hope that those who don't know will eventually find us and discover the truth for themselves, find out how very nice the fandom can really be.

Pegasister here, poet, philosopher, dreamer, I even know a few songs on the keyboard, oh yes, carpentry and electrical wiring, and computers. Er, yes, female and a fan of MLP

Nice! You sound like my wife! Yes, she sings, which you can hear here. She also plays a little keyboard, herself, does some carpentry and wood working, fixing things (she's a whiz with a wrench) and, yes, also does a few things with computers. Unfortunately she isn't, as yet, a fan of MLP but I hope to change that. I hope that, someday soon, you get to talk to her here. In the mean time I look forward to getting to know you. You sound like fun! :D
