Suggestion regarding birthdate.

This is my quick suggestion:

You should add an option to show your age instead of the full birthdate for privacy purposes.

 

Also if there is one (I surely didn't notice one)

I could add a custom profile field that would allow people to input their age if they didn't want to put in their full birthday, but I'm concerned people could get confused if they also put in their birthday as two ages would show up on their profile. I could decrease the likelihood of this happening by adding a note in people's settings that they should only use this field if they don't want to enter in their birthday.

An option in the UCP that if selected would echo only the age and not the full date of birth would do what you want.

I totally agree with this idea! I know that vBulletin forums have a birthday field that allow you to either show your full birthdate, or hide it but show your age. I find it odd that other forum software such as this doesn't.
