The land of Equestria is expanding, and the princesses have their eyes set on a new land for their ponies. A team of explorers have already scouted out a continent unclaimed by any other faction. With the land ready to be calmed, all that is needed now if for the colonists to settle there. We will be the first to settle the land, and will have to survive and thrive off of what we brought and what we can make. Our talents will be vital to out survival.

When the scouts first landed, there were numerous reports of strange electro-magical events. The unicorns sent there had drained magic usage, overwhelmed energy, and even spontaneous spell casting.
As the first few ships of analysts and colonists arrived, there were never messages of them landing. The scrolls that returned gave little info on a disaster. The last seemed to say they were about a day out before the crews went dark. This time, however, we will not be taking a sea ship. We are going to take a zeppelin. Easier travel, more versatile, and can land in cleanings.

Romance kept to the forum's rules
No inst-kills
No Plot twists without mod approval.
No op OCs (alicorns still accepted)

Since we don't have any rules yet, I think a limit of 10 participants in total would be fine. Arkman should creat a list of each character participating and update it until we finally have enough players.

Sorry for being gone, but you are both ok by me. As my partner said, this will be interesting with the people we have.

 

As for a list of participants, I will add it shortly. Also, I prefer that low numbered people in RPs, but I will let that be a group decision.

Oh and another rule that I would like to add would be this: Please try and put good detail and effort into your posts. Don't ignore someone's OC when they try and make conversation with yours. Try not to be overly-brief as it may come off as being rude to the OC (unless that is part of your character—but don't overdo it). So make sure your OC has good communication skills and good manners for the most part. Even when someone hasn't posted for a while, at least try to keep their OC involved until the user returns.

Hmm, I am not sure if playing with two characters simultaneously is a good idea. In my experience, it doesn't usually end up well for the RP, the player tends to try and lead more of the story and even take control at times. My suggestion would be to stick with one character for now. If no one else joins, you are free to play as two but make sure you handle them well.
