It came from 2 things: I'm a gearhead at heart. I love cars, and I always have. I also play a lot of guitar, and Overdrive is my favorite, and most common type of distortion.

It has to do with her backstory. She was raised in a highly abusive family, and as a result, sustained permanent nerve damage in her spine. She lost the ability to control her bowels as a result.
