I just meed to know who can handle themselves in a fight and how I can best supply them." He turns and leaves the main area, entering an office area, claiming it as his own.

 The wolf nodded to the crew as they departed towards the ship, he himself standing back a bit to talk to the mare. Looking to her, he gestured to join him as he walked towards the ship. As they entered, he didn't say a word till he directed her to her captain's quarters. The room was at the bow of the blimp, having huge windows overlooking the land before the viewer. Closing the door, he sighed.

"Look... Im sorry the quick hiring. Sort of last minute selection when the princesses got word of the recent loss the team. Oh... ya... the team..." He muttered, looking away from the mare, hurting a bit. 

"We are not the first to venture out this far.... or the second. I only told the crew we were saving a research team to get them motivated. Truth is, we are number five. First team we sent in said they were making landfall before we lost contact. Next one didn't even make it that far. Third was pure military. They gave us intel. That's how we got word of the magical interference, and why I hired an alicorn. They lasted a day before something killed them. They only said their crew was going missing. Now... number four is interesting... we sent a fleet. Two ironclads, a cargo ship, and a battleship as support. When they got close... they reported seeing Three's transport headed towards theirs. They thought it was them escaping... That's when we got this..."

Night walked out of his room. walking down the halls. He was interested to find new friends and amybe somepony who wouldn't mind sharing blood. He soon found himself in the office. He knocked on the door. "Hello, anypony in there?"

 

He looked around, waiting for a response.

Pink looked at the big blimp they would be boarding and let her ears flatten slightly from shock. Wow! I'm actually going to be riding a blimp! This is too exciting!

 

She turned around and saw a blue mare with a yellow mane introduce herself to all the crew. She then started talking to a...wolf? Friendly wolf I guess, better go say hi.

 

Mist approached the two. "Umm hi. It's nice to talk to some crewmates. And umm do any of you know if we have assigned places to stay on the blimp? "

Rosalina was quite disturbed as she heard this sudden news from the wolf regarding the previous teams. Until this moment, she didn't really take notice of the fact that there would be so many life-threatening dangers lying ahead of them. This brought back ... some of her early memories.

 

She briefly thought back to the day when she had to leave her own homeland, Tempest Cove. It was once a large and prosperous village along the shore of Fawlandia, the great land of the deer. That was before the tragic war broke out in the land. Raiders from the north had invaded the village and a violent battle took place right before Rosalina's very eyes when she was just a young filly. The whole area was burned down and she was the only lucky survivor who, by the grace of Celestia, was able to flee to Equestria to start a new life.

 

Now, seven years later, she has to take up the duty as captain and lead her crew mates ... beyond the safe and harmonious lands of Equestria. Back into the foreign and unpredictable lands. The mysterious photo of the ship taken captive brought more immense chills down her spine. She took a deep breath before responding.

 

"W-Wow Seth ... I-I had no idea. I-I don't know what to say... I just wish I knew why I was chosen as captain by the princesses. I wish I can speak with them. This is a bit too much for me. But there isn't much time unfortunately, we have to take off really soon don't we?"

 

She began to slowly scan the room around her and smiled a little knowing that this is all hers. "At least this room looks spacious and roomy. *sighs* Perfect for a captain hehe."

She turned her attention to the pink mare greeting the two. 

 

"I honestly don't have much of a clue hehe. But maybe this guy knows!" She turned her attention to the wolf next to her, giving him a pat on the shoulder.

The wolf nodded to her regarding the departure, then bent close to her ear seeing they weren't alone. "Again... not a word to the crew..." He muttered as he cleared his throat to the new mare.

"Well, the officers' cabins are along the outermost sections of the ship. Your particular cabin is on the first level. Miss mist, is it? If so, your cabin is next to mine. I'll lead you there, then I need to get this ship airborn." The wolf said, nodding to the captain. Departing the quarters, the wolf lead the mare along the ship until they reached a door with 'Pink Mist' labeled on it. 

"Well, I hope they are to your liking for the journey. It will be a bit of fly time as we are traveling by blimp." He said, showing her to the room. Inside, it was less spacious as the captain's room, but it was still rather nice.

Nasir along with the pegasus named Glider and a unicorn, Ballast follow up the stairs up to the interior of the derigible. The helium airbags adorned around the massive walks held together by steel frames and cloth.

Ballast with her sword on her hip and crossbow on her back walks along the cat walks whilst Nasir and Glider hover along, having a good look about in their new environment, to learn every nock and corner and every crawl space.

 

Mahki and an earth pony, Iron Will followed along the halls of the second level in the crew sections like their comrades they needed to have a sense of their environment during their journey, knowing every safety zone and best defensive positions, plus simply to know where is where.

 

Ahaban remained at his desk with comrade

" عندما أنا بخير من أي وقت مضى؟ " Ahaban replied

" أنت بحاجة إلى الراحة. " Abdullah replied giving him an encouraging pat on his shoulder.

Hearing a knock at the door he calls for him to enter. "Come in, who is it?" Leaning back in a massive chair, he looks through some document about their transportation. "Nicely constructed. But why not take a ship? This is odd. I will need more information on the previous expedition."

The alicorn opened the door and slowly walk in. He spoke. "Hello...I just thought I would walk around and say hello to ever...well you're not a pony are you."

 

He smiled, showing his two fangs." So what are you going to lead on this trip? Food? Maps? I'm watching the magic."

Ahaban remained at his desk continuing his examination of the maps. Abdullah had given him consult about rest. And he was right he did some sleep but for now it could wait.

" عبد الله. أريدك أن إجراء فحص أمني سريع. فقط للقياس. " Ahaban spoke.

 

Down each door he went on the cabins section door to door in his patrol pattern. Abdullah had approached the Weapons Officer cabin.

There was a knock on his door.

"Security check. Please open up." He spoke in basic Equestrian (English) .

"I can't tell the crew anything about this conversation? Shouldn't they have the right to know?" Rosalina replied as she was confused by the wolf's order.

 

She looked around her room, still in immense awe of the interior design. She then noticed the control panel on the side, which looked really complex, with numerous buttons and switches. She became even more nervous about taking off.

 

"You mind showing me how to ... oh I don't know ... control this sky beast!? I am the captain right? Well the last thing I want is to end up crashing my ship and killing everyone on board in the process! *sighs* I hope it is easier than it looks."

*snoring* " Wah uh what was that"sparkle got up and started too walk around "I'm gonna see what's going on " he walked up too a room labeled CAPTAIN "huh so I guess this is the captains room(well nah the room labeled captain is obviously not the captains room " sparkle walked up to the door and tapped his hoof against it "hello anypony in there? Its Sparkle from Engineering"

"Come in. I believe I am the go to guy for weapons. I know I can build any and repair any that come my way. And an alicorn, you might be good with magic, but from the report, magic isn't necessarily a good idea on this mission. I don't really care honestly, since I don't deal in it, so I hope that you can handle it on your end. I don't feel like dying due to a screwed up spell, no offense but, I don't like this partial story that we are getting that might get us killed. You agree, alicorn?"

"Names Night Wolfe, humble son of Night are and Discord. I don't like it, but my mother told me to go...so. You said you could repair any weapon?"

 

The alicorn thought for a second."I might have use for you."

 

The alicorn powered his horn and spawned a sword in its sheath.

"Really? A use for me huh? A sword is a sword, no matter how magical it might be. What do you need done with it? And, while you are at it? I would like a list of what weapons you have mastered and, any Support or combat spells. I may have a use for you as well, depending on how this trip goes."

"Why must you know what spells? Half of them are banned now-a-days. You think I'm going to tell you?"

 

He looked closer. He put the sword on his back. Night stood there, thinking. "You'll have to find that out by yourself."

"Very well, but it helps me in crafting items. Second, I am curious to know because I prefer trusted and trusting allies should a combat situation arise. I hide nothing and I really don't care if you use banned magic. Like I said before, I really don't care about magic unless it is an ally."

Abdullah opens the door.

"I apologize for the interruption- Um!..." His eyes widen in surprise at the sight of an alicorn and a large Minotaur. He almost quivered a bit having never actually seen one... Or both.

"I .. Um... Carry on.." He says before exiting as he quickly returns to the security .

 

" لديهم alicorn ومينوتور! لا أحد ذكر ذلك! " Abdullah exclaimed to Ahaban.

" حسنا الآن ... هذا هو المستغرب." He replied.

Night turned to the pony who just ran off. "Hmmm..."

 

He waved the one he was just with good-bye. He walked up on the two ponies talking in a strange tongue, to him. "Why hello you too. I heard alicorn, but what else was that?"

 

He shifted a bit, still unconformable. "Name's Night Wolfe."

Abdullah stepped away as if fearful of Nighte.

Ahaban looked up to the Alicorn, he expressed some surprised but still remain unmoved.

"I apologize. Alicorns are not a common sight for us. " Ahaban spoke in English.

" وقال انه قد يلقي ظلالا لإهانات لدينا. " Abdullah spoke his tone a bit fearful.

"Hush!" Ahaban snapped.

"Yes sir." Abdullah replied.

 

"Again, I apologize for the inconvenience." He says.

"I request you speak Equestrian in my presence. I do not like others talking when in my presence and I don't understand them." Standing to his full height, he looks down to all the ponies in his office. "My name is Stronghammer. I am in charge of your weaponry, best to be friends, am I right?"

Ahaban and Abdullah's stance change toward the minotaur, taking defensive to his sudden entrance.

"That attitude will not be tolerated. We have done nothing to you." Ahaban says in a calm tone.

"And I'll speak as I please." He finishes.

"Now. Is there something you need?" He asks.

(btw Strong Hammer is in the security office.)

(Might have been nice to know, my bad.) "I mean you no harm. But, I do need a list of our crew. That is all. And will somepony show me my bloody workplace? Too many rooms here." The Minotuar says, seemingly bipolar. Trying to act like nothing is wrong after screwing up the rooms.

Ahaban looked into his drawer desk, storing his file catalogs. He hands a few sheets to Stronghammer.

"Here's a listing of our crew and all weapons cataloged." He says

" بد الله، تبين له محطة العمل. " Ahaban commands to his fellow comrade who nods.

"Please follow me." Abdullah says leading the minotaur out. Ahaban returned to his desk.

 

Stronghammer was escorted by the Arabian pony up to the second section into the works spaces walking along down the halls. They are approached by another Arabian pony this one a bit larger then Abdullah.

"Mahki. Lead Mr. Stronghammer to his work station." He says, the earth pony along with his accompanying grunt looks up.

"Sweet Celestia your enormous." The Equestrian merc behind Mahki comments.

"Thanks." He mission his head as a gesture of gratitude and turns to follow Mahki. "Mercenaries, Very useful, I won't deny. You mercs are well armed, aren't you? You would have to be, this is apparently a dangerous mission. You wouldn't happen to know anything else about this, would you?" He asks kindly.
