Goodluck to arizona is all I can say. With today's tech savvy teens and adults, this law will hit Supreme Court faster than any other restriction of freedom of speech law passed. You can't create a law in which restricts any of the amendments, that's FEDERAL law's job, the states have absolutely no power let alone even the right to pass such a law. Now if it were congress trying to pass it, that i could understand, but arizona? No. Even if it passes it won't last long at all.

Well, buck. Lack of Daylight Savings Time is the only thing we have going for us now, isn't it?

I honestly can't imagine how they could possibly expect to enforce this. How can someone gauge if someone is offended enough to arrest the perpetrator? How does someone even prove that any harassment happened at all?

And most importantly, who's going to be the one to moderate school playgrounds and the internet, the places where more feelings are hurt than anywhere else? I suppose, in the former, a teacher will call the police because a kid refused to give back another one's Fruit Roll-Up, and in the latter people can legally report someone who wrote something insulting on their Facebook wall to law enforcement?

There are just way too many things wrong with a "No Offending Anyone!" law that I don't know where to start.

But on a more positive note...

That's really all there is to say on the matter.

My main problem with this law is that Arizona is going at it the wrong way, I appreciate their attempt at trying to curb Cyber bullying but this is just the wrong way to do it. Secondly, other states might want to create some sort of similar law in a domino effect if this goes in to effect.

Outlawing trolling is trolling itself.

Thus a never ending cycle is created.

Anyone who supports this law is outright insane because this violates free speech. Yes, some people die over it. But honestly, grow up. All this is gonna do is last a day, some person is gonna be arrested by this ridiculously unfair law for calling some nub a faggot over the internet. Then they'll take it to Supreme Court and it'll cost Arizona a lot in court fees and lawyers while the victim is getting a free ride by the ACLU.
