I see what you are looking for but are you trying to set up a Let's Play sort of thing or just game. I'm not really a serious gamer like MLG or anything but I do play games. I again depends on what you want to do with gaming.

I got a PS4 for Christmas too. No games yet because my parents didn't know what game to get me but I may be getting one tomorrow. I'm planning on getting GTA V.  I have no friends on there so I'd love to be your friend. Add me if you want.

Oh Ok. I play more Xbox and single player PC games. I would recommend making friends on here with similar game interests and to have fun. I was just seeing if you were going to try to be a youtube star or something. A mainstream Let's Play Game Reviewer that's a brony, wouldn't that be interesting?

Depends on what genre of games you like. Remember, PS4 games are expensive right now due to high demand so choose your games wisely. I don't play much PS4 and I don't have a Steam account. That's all I have to say.

All my life needed was a sense of someplace to go. I don't believe that one should devote his life to morbid self-attention. I believe that someone should become a person like other people.

You're welcome to add me on Steam if you like (here's my account page); I don't own a PS4, but I do play a good amount of PC games, though most of them are single-player. The games I play that do support online multiplayer are Team Fortress 2, Garry's Mod, Counter Strike: Global Offensive, Tabletop Simulator, Project: Zomboid, and Dota 2 (though I rarely ever play this), so if you play/are interested in any of those games; I'd be up for playing them. :)

As a huge gamer I could direct you to a a lot of games from a lot of genres. Unfortunately I don't know much for PC or PS4. I'm always up for talking about games though.

This goes for TC as well as anyone else: If you wanna talk about games, I'm open for conversation. PM me here, get me on Skype or Steam, whatever you feel's best. Even if I've never played a game you like there's always something to talk about.. ;)

If you're looking for FPS, I'm an ex-comp player and someone you might want to talk to. My most extensive knowledge lies in the recent Battlefield games.

FPS

So the big two FPS at the moment are Battlefield 4 and Call of Duty: Advanced Warfighter. While I'm not too sure on Call of Duty: Advanced Warfighter, it still fairs as a very powerful competitor in the console world. Which should you get? Depends on what your preferences are. I recommend that you watch people play both to get a feel for the games before you buy. Also check out the communities too and see how the support for the games are doing. Furthermore, do you have the time to invest in getting good at these games? FPS, like MMOs, can take a long time and a lot of practice to become good at. If you practised with me for a few hours on the weekend in BF3, I could probably set you really far ahead.

Some other FPS with large communities are Counter Strike: Global Offensive and Team Fortress 2. CS:GO has a large competitive following and you will more often than not run into people better than you. Although this is a good thing, I recommend playing with a few friends whom have experience in the game so that you can get accustomed to it and progress yourself without getting your butt kicked every other round.

For Team Fortress 2 you just have to practise. It's much more casual and trading has become a game in itself. The fact that it's more casual though means you'll run into a lot weaker teams than if you played Counter Strike, where casual players can be weeded out of non-competitive games very quickly ;) (non competitive stuff you can do in CS:GO: Hide and Seek, Zombies, TDM)

Some minor games include Blacklight: RetributionPAYDAY 2, and Ghost ReconPAYDAY 2 is a great game that's very much alive and it's good fun for 100 hours. However it does get repetitive quite fast so maybe that's not your thing.

If you need some more tips or have questions for any of these games, send me a message and I'll get back to you with whatever you need. The more popular it is, the better, of course.

MMOs/RPGs

There are quite a few popular MMOs/RPGs out there at the moment. League of Legends, World of Warcraft, Guild Wars 2, and some minor Browser RPGs you can try, too, like Adventure Quest. These have giant communities and there will always probably be people around to help you get better. If you like calculations, quests, adventures, and that sort of thing, this genre is probably for you. You have to invest a lot of time into these games, though. In order to find a team, or to just be able to compete at a high level with other players for items or whatever else you might want. Essentially, the learning curve for these is pretty high. (But not as high as Dark Souls :'D)

MUST HAVE games for PC

These are a list of games that I qualify as MUST HAVE on PC due to their large followings and/or gameplay.

The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim

Grand Theft Auto V

Grand Theft Auto IV

Battlefield 4

Team Fortress 2

PAYDAY 2

I'll edit this post later, I need to get to sleep.

BTW, I don't own a PS4. I'm purely a PC player now. My contact information is in my profile.

Wow, I read over my first post and it sounds like a shameless advertisement. Sorry about that.

There are other people who can help you with more modern stuff but if you wanna get to know some older games I can help you out there, Apple Daze. That's all I meant to say.

I mostly play PC games with old friends, but I would love to find new players who are into PC gaming.  I tend to be a big fan of turn based strategy games like Civilization V, but I also enjoy games like Magicka, Planetside 2, Diablo 3, Borderlands and Dawn of War.
