About an hour or maybe an hour and a half ago, I tried to access these forums, but it said something like "The site may be down, but it might be your connection," so I checked on three different sites that check if a site is down, and they all said, "mlpforums.com is down."

Then when I came back not long ago, I put this in my status, and something strange was going on with the notifications (not for me, for people who replied to my status).

So what happened?

Wow. I didn't think you'd actually waste enough time to get to the fourth line.

Or the fifth, for that matter. What, am I interesting or something?

Yes, we were currently performing site mainenance so the site was down in the interim. Please pardon the dust.

 

Also, we are aware that at some point in the near future we will likely need to serve a page that properly indicates if site maintenance is currently going on.
