open Who needs trainers anyway? (RP)

Storm laughed "True.." He agreed, before jumping up into the trees. "New friends, berries, fights, hugs... A great day... Wait! I forgot to give that sylveon another hug!" Storm realized, after thinking over the day so far. So he quickly ran in the direction that he saw Sylva go.

After a couple minutes of tree hopping, he saw Sylva. "Hey, Sylva!" He exclaimed, jumping down to stand next to her. "Sorry, I think I forgot to give you a hug.. Or did I? Hmmm... My memory can be weird sometimes, sorry..." Storm apologized, rubbing a paw against his neck sheepishly. "Hey, you want a berry?" He asked, holding out a Mago berry with a friendly smile.

Sylva accepts the berry and smiles. She gives him another hug. She then continues to look for an opponent.

 

She says, "Glad to meet you. My name is Sylva. What is your's?" She continues to look and hopes her new potential friend follows. So far she doesn't find any pokemon.

"I'm Storm, and I like hugs and sweet berries!" Storm informed the sylveon enthusiastically. "I also like to fight! But probably less often than some might expect, given my type..." He told Sylva with a smile. "What about you? Any particular berry types or actions/stuff you like to do?" Storm asked curiously, eager to get to know one of his new friends better. Especially one that likes hugs.

"I lived with my parents for awhile... I don't know what happened, but one day I decided it was best for me to go off on my own. They told me I can come back whenever I want, but I don't think I should go back until I'm strong enough to make them proud of me." She explained.

make them proud of her? Why would she need to do that? I'm sure they love her just the way she is! Freckle thought. Why he have easily explained that, he decided to to as he could hit a nerve, and he wouldn't want to do that to his new friend!

"I just wend around with my trainer for a few months. He had a bunch of cool Pokemon, and he was all like "one day you'll be as strong as them! I didn't get to fight in most battles but it was still fun!"

She said, remembering all the bad experiences she'd had with trainers in the past. The more she thought about it, the less she liked trainers.

After the Riolu departed, Sandual found himself alone, he finished the berry and went to lie down on a log. Long day...Lots of things happening... he though, he looked at the sky and saw the sun, still shining in the sky. He waits patiently for his friends to return as he thinks what might happen next.

"Trainer huh? Never trusted those humans..." Twi said. "I don't know what it is about them, but something about them just feels wrong to me. Maybe it's the fact that they see me and all they think is 'wow a super rare pokemon! I better catch it!' They never see me as anything more than that." She said, remembering all the bad experiences she'd had with trainers in the past. The more she thought about it, the less she liked trainers.

"What? Nawww, my trainer was great!" Freckle argued. "We used to go through all these areas, and see all these cool Pokemon,mane meet all these cool people! He said that he'd get all the Pokemon, and that I'd help him. I mean, I didn't really get to, but oh well!" He stood up, still holding all the berries. "So do you just have all these berries to yourself or are you with somebody?" He asked. It had kinda been a while since he got to crash with other Pokemon it'd be fun for a change.

Sylva seemed a bit pre-occupied, so Storm decided to wander around a bit. He gave the fairy-type another hug, "I'm gonna explore a bit, I'll see you later Sylva!" Storm told her before jumping into the trees once more and wandering off.

Jumping through the trees, Storm heard a voice saying something about a good trainer. Curious, he decided to take a look and saw two more pokemon, a Totodile and a Froakie. He jumped off the tree and walked over to the Froakie, knowing that he was the one who had a trainer due to catching the tail end of his sentence upon arrival. "You had a trainer?" Storm asked curiously, "what was that like? oh wait, sorry.. Didn't even introduce myself... I'm Storm Shine, and you two are?" He backtracked, realizing his rudeness and introduced himself with a friendly smile.

Twi went quiet, not saying anything now that the new Pokemon was there. It wasn't that she had anything against fighting types or the Riolu, she just didn't want to talk to any new Pokemon. Oh great... Another one, isn't this going to be fun? She thought sarcastically.

Sandual sat quietly against the log. He could not hear anything, all he could hear was serenity. He was not tired, he was not sleepy, he was not drowsy, just relaxed. He stared at the afternoon sky, reflecting on the friends he made thus far. Sylva, Twi, Pandora, and now Storm. He always wanted friends, but something wasn't there. He felt empty. He could not figure out what though.

Sylva didn't find what she was looking for but she did find Twi and Storm, her friends.

 

She comes over to them and says happily, "Hey guys. Hows it going?"

Her feelers are releasing that calming aura again. She holds two more of her star shaped berries out to Twi and Strom. "Here found more of them. They smell odd. I cant quite place it, but they almost smell like mom and dad."

 

(These berries smell different for each pokemon.)

Storm waved happily, running over to give the Fairy-type a hug, "Hey Sylva!" He greeted happily as he hugged her, "Cool berries! They looks like stars, but smell like..." Storm took a sniff, "They smell kinda like the salt-water taffy candies a human child gave me once...." He told her, tilting his head in slight confusion

"I have more. Take one. The smell seams to be a memory I have and I can't tell why. Whould either of you three know what this berry is?"

 

Sylva gives one to all three friends. She then goes and lays down. She begins to hum lightly the sound sweet to the ears of all who hear it.

Storm asked curiously, listening to the fairy-type's musical sounds. "Because you'd probably be pretty good at it, if your humming is anything to base it on..."

Sylva says, "if i sing you will hurt. Because i am muffling the effect of my disarming voice."

 

Sylva shifts to a more comfortable spot and position. She continues to hum.

Sandual heard a sudden noise and bolted upright. He couldn't be sure at all what it was, but he went to investigate. Unbeknownst to him, he was traveling into yet another territorial area of Spearows. He noticed the trees become much thicker and the area became darker. He looked up and froze in a familiar way and saw a Spearow, glaring at him once again. "Heh, Deja Vu..." he said awkwardly, in a nervous voice.

Storm finished his berry and began to feel sleepy, so he jumped up into a medium height branch and made himself comfy. He smiled happily as he lied on the branch, thinking about his day so far. "Made some new friends, tasted a new berry, gave out and even received lots of hugs, had a nice spar.... a nice day indeed..." Storm continued to smile as he allowed himself to be lulled to sleep by Sylva's hummed tune.

The Spearow spread it's wings out slowly, just as it last time did. The whole event played out very similarly as last time, although it ended very differently. As the Spearow swooped down, Sandual rolled out of the way, rather than just curling up though. When Sandual evaded, he quickly ran towards the Spearow before it took off again and he slashed at the bird, and it screeched with pain. The Spearow looked at the Sandshrew with hate and flew away. Sandual realized he's become much stronger.

Suddenly, out of the blue, two more Pokemon showed up! Freckle had never seen these one before, one of them looked like a Lucario. His trainer said he knew a guy with one of those, Freckle never expected them to be so short. But who was this new one? Freckle turned to Twi, she looked reclusive, like she didn't trust them. Maybe they were spies? Or ninjas! Ninjas would be cool!

"Hey! I've never seen you before you seem cool!" He stated boldly. "My name is Freckles. I just found these berries that belong to my super cool friend here!" He pointed Over to Twi near the small tree.

Sandual walked back to the area he came from, and saw the Spearow lying down in the dirt. "Help..." said the Spearow. Sandual was surprised at the sight of the Spearow. "Are you okay? What happened?" he said. "You happened...you used poison sting on me..." it replied. Sandual looked at his hands, realizing he had learned Poison Sting. "Alright, I'll get you some help..." Sandual said, as he carefully picked up the Spearow. He walked back to the area and set the Spearow down. "I'll be right back, I'll hurry, promise..." he said, as he departed to find the others.

"Speaking of which..." Twi said, grabbing three berries. "I need to go replant these somewhere else. I'll be back, don't follow me." She said, then walked off with the berries in her hand. Thank Arceus I get some time to myself... Now where should I plant these berries this time? She thought.

Storm was startled awake at the 'Hey!' and fell off the branch, landing in an undignified heap. "I'm okay!" He announced, getting back to his feet(Hind-paws?). Looking around, he noticed the Pokemon who had woken him up, "Hiya Freckles!" Storm greeted, utilizing Quick Attack to quickly appear in front of the Froakie. "My name's Storm!" He introduced, holding out his paw for Freckles to shake.

Freckle gave a quick wave as twi left as if to say that he would not follow her, before focusing back on the new two pokemon. What were they? He knew one of them was called Storm. But that was it. Freckle shook the pokemons hand.

"Cool! I've never seen you two before. What pokemon are you? I bet you're super cool!" He then turned his attention to the new one. She, She? it looked like a she. it was white and pink and had weird ribbons.

"you remind me of an Eevee. My trainer said he had an Eevee, and he was going to get an Espion. I though that was some kind of food!" he quickly realized he was off topic.

"So anyway, what's your name? Mine's Freckles!"

Storm chuckled happily, doing a quick backflip and giving a thumbs up gesture upon landing. "I'm a Riolu, and one day I hope to become a Lucario!" He told Freckles excitedly though he seemed to have lost steam afterwards, his ears and tail turning down slightly. "But I can't become a Lucario on my own... My uncle told me that to evolve, I need a good trainer and some kind of special bell...." Storm said somewhat sadly, before his attitude did another 360 back to happiness. "But you have a trainer, right? What's that like? are they nice? do they have a friend who's nice? I usually run from trainers, but that's only because they seem really mean and selfish.... well, mostly. A few of them were nice, but they didn't seem... right. Anyways, so tell me what having a trainer is like, please!?!?" He pleaded of the Froakie, giving the frog-like pokemon a dose of puppy-dog eyes for good measure.

Sylva says, "I am an evolution of eevee. My name is Sylva and I am a sylveon."

 

Sylva goes back to her humming. She looks to be getting ready to go to sleep as well.

 

After about fifteen minutes, Sylva is fast asleep. Her ribbon feelers continue to release their calming aura.

I mean I only got to see a few, but they were all really awesome! Oh yeah, he even said his friend had a Lucario, and that they'd been friends for years!" Freckle wasn't sure as to whether or not he was off topic or just rambling on. He did ask about the trainer, but not about his Pokemon.

"Oh yeah. Having a trainer is super fun! You get to explore, and battle all the time, and make tonnes of friends. He said he was going to get me to the best he could, and then we'd get the 6th gym badge or something!"
