A Star Wars RP where you play a Jedi or Sith as they experimentally try to cohabitate on the Force rich planet of Felucia.

Rules:

 

• No fighting! Kind of the whole point of this narrative social experiment. If two players truly wish for their characters to end up in a clash of ideologies or circumstance, then it must be cleared with the GM ahead of time to give it the proper context and build up. Rest assured, there is adventure and combat to be had.
  

 

• No Mary Sues. This should hopefully go without saying but your character can't pull Star Destroyers out of the sky like Galen Marek or change the ontology of the Force as it's understood like Revan. By all means get creative with your character, but make them unique by who they are rather than what they can do.
  

 

• No Meta-gaming. Your character cannot act on knowledge that you glean as a player from either OOC or IC posts.
  

 

• Keep it clean. Again, hopefully a no brainer, but keep the language civil if charged even in-character and the romance (if any) light and brief. I mean we all know what happens when Star Wars tries to do traditional romantic banner. Anakin's "sand" speech come to mind? A good standard would be that, if it wouldn't be in Star Wars itself, it shouldn't be here.
  

 

• No godmodding. The reactions of minor NPCs are permissible if done with some reason. Such as a Force choke or mind trick, but more substantial behavior by larger numbers of NPCs will be dictated by the GM. This obviously extends to PCs even more.
  

 

• Less of a rule and more of a suggestion. Think about yourself when creating your character. Try to internalize both the Jedi as well as the Sith and consider both of them; their points and their faults.

Optimally, you play as one of the two major orders. However, there are other Force based organizations that could be petitioned to play a part if enough thought is put into the concept. Nightsisters, Imperial Knights, Jensaarai, Findsmen, or whatever. However you would be mostly acting on your own, outside of your order's protection. In addition, you can play as many non Force-sensitive personnel and adventurers, smugglers, diplomats, droids, etc.

Bio: Being one of the last surviving members of the purge of his people, the royal guard by the name of Seth Tiber has kept himself away from the empire, rebellion, and it's war. He never wished to be part of the empire that killed his other fellow guards, and he rather not join the rebels, as they were the ones to kill his master. 

He became a drifter, never holding to one specific location for too long, paranoid that he was still being hunted by his fallen brother that had betrayed the others. However, he came across the Felucia system during a conversation with a trader who he was buying a ship from. Hearing about how the planet was the founding world of both the Sith and jedi peace, he assumed it would be a rather nice place to take residence. AS he was of little importance, his presence would barely be noticed under the heat the Jedi and Sith would create there.

Bio:

Viktor Odúm was born on his people's home planet of Cathar in one of their many villages housed in giant tress. Always gifted with weapons and the martial arts, he discovered his connection to the Force during his rite of passage. The Blood Hunt revealed to him a kind of inner clarity in the midst of battle that could only be described as meditative. The Elder saw the tell tale signs of Force-sensitivity within the newly christened adult and contacted the Jedi. When he learned of where he was bound for Viktor was doubtful. He was unsure if he could be a Jedi at all. Viktor's father brought him to an ancient site where the great heroes of the Cathar had their names and deeds carved into the tree. Viktor was astounded to see that many among their number, were Jedi.

"Many Jedi have come from our people, my son. One day . . . your name and deeds will be carved into this tree."

All doubt gone from him, Viktor Odúm trained under Master Skywalker and Master Katarn. Upon his knighting, Viktor was considered a master swordsman. With great ability, but seemingly little to do with it, Jedi Knight Odúm made his way to Felucia. To police the sanctuary Master Skywalker helped found.

Bio: Born and raised on Corellia to Jedi parents, Vox largely rejected the Jedi taboo of forbidden knowledge, seing it as a burden to progress. Seing more promise in the Sith's ideas of shaping your own destiny, he took up apprenticeship with a Sith Lord on Felucia as an acolyte in order to make something of himself, much to the chagrin of his family. His relationship with his master is a typical of the Sith, heartless, and militaristic. Despite his obediant exterior, Vox has different motives and ideals than his orthodox Sith master.
