Need help brainstorming for a game

I'm creating a game that is quite similar to Pokemon, but with MLP. It has different tiers of characters depending on power. I can't really think of any 'so called' moves for these characters to have, for example

 

Rainbow Dash 

Move - Wing Beat

Effect - Causes 3 damage whilst also reducing the opponents speed by 1.67%

 

Have you guys got any ideas for move names that I could use. They don't have to be attacking moves, they could be defensive too. Any ideas for the following anypony?

 

The Mane Six

Luna

Celestia

Cadence

Discord

Character: Cadence

 

Move: Soaring Hearts

Effect: Chance of incoming attacks is reduced by 25%

 

Move: Shining's Love

Effect: Changeling attacks are reduced by 15%

 

Move: Love Blast

Effect: Causes 5 damage for 6 seconds.

 

Move: The Wave

Effect: Stun the opponent for 10 seconds, 5% chance of instant KO

 

B) Might be overpowered or underpowered but I'm not sure.

Character: Fluttershy

 

Move: Hushed Whisper

Effect: Lowers opponents defense by 10%, 5% speed reduction

 

Move: The Stare

Effect: Paralyze opponents for 6.5 seconds, 10% chance of next opponent's attack failing

 

Move: Cry

Effect: 4 damage for 7 seconds, 15% chance of stun

 

Move: Neck Snap

Effect: 10 damage for 4.5 seconds, 3.65% chance of instant KO


Character: Luna

 

Move: Royal Canterlot Voice

Effect: 15% chance of stun, 25% reduction to opponent defense, 3.5 damage for 4 seconds

 

Move: Night Sky

Effect: 35% chance of blinding opponent for 5.6 seconds

 

Move: Dream Walker

Effect: 10 damage for 7.5 seconds, 6.7% chance of instant KO

 

Move: Sandmare

Effect: Puts opponent to sleep for 10 seconds, 12% chance of draining 5 health for 7.5 seconds


Character: Queen Chrysalis

 

Move: Mind Control

Effect: Opponent attacks themselves

 

Move: Transform

Effect: Opponent is stunned for 5 seconds, Heals chrysalis for 4 seconds

 

Move: Love Drain

Effect: Takes 5% of opponents health for 2 seconds and heals chrysalis

 

Move: Hive Mind

Effect: Summons changelings to attack opponent

Pinkie Pie

 

move: Pinkie Senses

effect: will dodge the opponents next move with out fail, increases pinkie pie's speed and accuracy by 5%

 

move: Party cannon

effect: 20 damage , 10% of instant KO, 25% of stunning the opponent, 15% chance of pinkie pie's accuracy being reduced

 

Move: Magic Mirror pond

effect: from 2 up to 5 pinkies attack the opponent with 5 damage each, 10% chance of reducing opponent's defence,

 

move: Rubber Necking

effect: will not fail to hit the opponent whether the opponent is in air or underground, 5 damage, 30% chance of reducing opponent's speed/accuracy/defence/ or attack

Well, I think proposing a "sonic rainboom" ability would be too easy.

 

20% Cooler :

Freeze the ennemy, slows down his movement speed by 20%

 

I've got no ideas for now, I'll come back later when I have some.

Hey everypony. I was just wondering if I could possibly be given some feedback? I have the basic stats and movesets for Rainbow Dash done, and I was wondering what people thought of it? The levelling up system works like this, and repeats for every 10 levels. So the stat changes from level 1-10 are the same from2-20, but 2-20 would require more exp. All ponies start at 10 for all stats at level 0

 Rainbow Dash (above)

Level 1 – Buck – 3 damage

Level 3 – Wing beat – 3 damage (-2% speed)

Level 7 – Hurricane – 4 damage (-1% damage every turn until Rainbow Dash is switched)

Level 11 – 20% cooler – Recover 20% of your health! Can only be used twice a battle

Level 18 – Rainbow Power – 12 damage, 10% chance to increase attack by 5%

Level 25 – Friendship Aura – Reduces the enemies defence by 7.5% and attack by 7.5%

Level 29 – Rainbow Surge- Protects the user from damage from the next attack

Level 35 – Flying Focus – The next two moves used do double damage

Level 42 – Cloud Bucking – All opponents moves now have a 10% chance of missing, RD’s moves have a 3% chance of missing

Level 50 – Lightning Strike – 25 damage, no base effects

Level 55- 10 seconds flat – 20 damage, this move out speeds any other attack (priority +3)

Level 60 – Mark of Loyalty – Whoever switches in next has a 50% attack boost and a 50% defence boost, but loses those stats if *insert idea I haven’t come up with yet here*

Level 100 – Sonic Rainboom – 50 damage, *effect not thought of yet*
