I broke eye contact with the TV to glance over at Otto in the Kitchen
"Hmm...No I guess I just have no skills is all, simple as that"
Man, lying sucks sooo much flank, still, it's my speciality

I don't like the suspicion, I am quite happy here, rather not have it ruined... Gotta keep up this charade for now

Otto began growing even more suspicious. " Really no talent huh? That's a highly unlikely story. Really what's your story? I mean it's not like your a changeling." Otto put the Lazaña in the oven. " Everyone has a talent. How are you even still alive? I mean you need to work and it's not like you can get a job without a cutie mark."

i look over at Otto "it's called 'Fate/Stay Night' and i don't really like lasagna, sorry" i say to Otto, with a hint of spite in my tone thinking back to the events of yesterday evening. i slowly turn my attention back towards the television and sitting next to void, awkwardly close.

What is this an interrogation from Otto? Well at least Phoenix had my back, I kinda feel bad for lying down right but still, I have too

Once again all I was spouting is lies, not that I feel good about it, the exact opposite in fact
I then leaned on Phoenix a little, I think of it as a nice gesture, gotta say thanks for having my back somehow

Otto looked a bit upset at Pheonix's answer. "I bet you would know a lot about that wouldn't you princess." Otto completely lost any guilt about yesterday's events. Although he didn't really have anything against cross dressers, he began more and more to dislike Pheonix. Otto's suspicions were correct, Pheonix and Void had become friends. Now he thought he might have to deal with two people. "Really?" Ottos's suspicion grew. " Fate? Never believed in it." Otto decided to stop prying into his life and stood silent, waiting for the Lazaña to cook.

i became incredibly confused and then had a moment of realization "oh, nonono. i mean the name of the show. is literally 'Fate/Stay Night'" i say with a giggle. "but i do think that you should leave void alone, Otto. he shouldn't be obligated to tell you everything about his past. (Fate/Stay Night is a real anime)

Otto thought for a moment. He decided to stay silent just staring at the celing. He began to start fidgeting with a knife that was on the kitchen counter. He than heard a ring and took out a baked lasaña out of the oven. " well this will be delicious!" He said enthusiastically. He began to devour the Lazaña and it seemed that he didn't even stop to breath.

"Woo, TV. Im in to crash!"
Pipeline says as trots over to the two stallions.
"Woah. almost forgot to take off my wetsuit." Pipeline unzips his wet suit and dances out of it. 
He flops on the floor and looks up at the T.V. 
The stallion was enthralled with the program...mostly due to him being tired from surfing. His ears perk up when he hears the stallion's getting into an argument.
"Hey! Bros....chill out....also, whats a changeling?"

Otto finishes eating his Lazaña and goes and sits down on the couch, next to Pheonix. Getting unusually close to Pheonix. "Changelings are evil creatures that feed off the love of others. I fought them in my stint with the navy. I personally am proud to say I killed 57 of those bastards over my lifetime. We called them bugs because they have chitin for skin, just like bugs. Whoeeeee! Me and my buddies killed them like flies! Great times!"

Now there is a question I wish I could answer without seeming strange, 'what is a Changeling' guess I am an expert heheh

i lower the volume and chime in "i hear that a changeling is a creature that can change it's form to look like anypony it wants, and feeds off of another ponies love while pretending to be someone else" i say, to inform the others. i had never seen a changeling before but i heard a while back that canterlot had a bit of an issue with them.

"Didn't you just hear my explanation? But anyway we killed them by the thousands. They like to hang around the sea a lot and fly around. Their attracted by lots of flashing colors. We would flicker lights at night and use high energy beams to blow their heads off." Otto began laughing. "Haha I remember that sometimes the bastards would land on the ship, and we'd take the chitin off their skin and make accessories out of them. Shoes hats, etc..." Otto paused. " wait, I have some shoes that are made out of Changeling Chitin! Wanna see them?"

"I guess I must be a changeling too...I feed off the love of the ocean...but I do giver her my love back....and I cant change into anything....if i could, I would change into a bird or sea lion....what were we talking about again?"

Otto ignores pipeline and goes upstairs. You can hear a lot of noise, as if stuff was being thrown around. Otto comes down the stairs with some black boots that look really bad. "Eh eh? Pretty sweet no? Made out of 100% changeling skin!" Otto trots around in them and than looks at void. He looks at him and says " So you want to try them on?" Before void said anything, Otto placed the boots on his lap.

Pipeline shakes his head at the arrogant stallion.
"Killing a living creature and wearing it as a prize? I once knew a macho stallion who tried too hard to look cool and tough. He's back in Manehatten trying to ride out his High School popularity. You seem like the same guy...i pity your kind." Pipeline chuckles and cracks his neck.

" I know the type. I wasn't popular though. I'm happy with my life right know." Otto paused for a moment thinking about his words. " But it's only fair. Since they tried to kill us and they were our orders. To kill them. I don't feel bad for them. Just something you go through in war. And These serve as memories of my expirience." Otto stood silent remembering painful memories. He wanted to cry but just sat down and held back the tears. He completely forgot about the boots. He just stared at the TV, completely phased out of everything else.

As the others talked I stared at the shoes made from...Changeling Skin, shell and carapace... It's kind of morbid to be honest, actually, it's very morbid...These shoes are made out of my relatives, my friends, how much fun is this? I pushed the shoes away from me and onto the floor after Pipeline and Otto talked and rolled my eyes, it's not the best home now, I live with a pony whose job it is to kill my species, wonderful, I sat there silently and thought things through.

i witness the exchanges going on and i just continue to sit just a tad awkwardly close to void while watching the TV. the episode of the show that was on had just ended and the next episode after that had began. and i watch between episodes how void pushes the shoes onto the floor. i didn't like the shoes. i don't agree with killing animals for fashion.

Well...That was something...An outburst to say the least, I looked at Pipeline then Phoenix and shrugged
"That was, something, to say the least..."
I kept looking at the shoes on the floor, but eventually lost interest and looked back at the TV to watch with an entranced feeling again, I finally noticed how close Phoenix was but shrugged and didn't mind, not like I needed to mind, especially after that uproar a moment ago

i sat there next to void watching the next episode of the show that was on just now. i noticed that he had been looking at the shoes that Otto left there. it seemed like the shoes bothered void, but i decided i shouldnt bother him too much about it. i'd hate to ask him a question and make him feel bad about it.

As I watched the TV  next to Phoenix I thought many things to myself, the major thing was how much those shoes disturb me, not a nice sight... Still I kept glancing at them though, not helping obviously 
Since Pipeline was near to them I may as well ask since he is on the floor next to them
"Hey Pipeline, them shoes are freaking me out a little, think, since your near them you can just grab them quick and throw them out of sight or something?"
I didn't think of an excuse why, I thought I wouldn't need too since there quite vile things

Pipeline looks back at Void and Phoenix and shrugged as well.
"So how was your day, little cahonas?" He asks, noticing how close the two were sitting with each other.
Pipeline smirked coyly at the two as he turned back to the tv. Pipeline was starting to feel hungry again, and after his photoshoot he felt like he deserved a nice, big meal.

Otto was still asleep dreaming of a better life. He wished he had taken a different route. Otto wakes up and sees Void and Pheonix unsually close. Otto took a deep breath and got up. Otto seemed uneasy, especially with someone wearing drag getting comfortable with a suspicious pony that Otto doesn't really trust. He woke up just in time to hear Voids request. " what's the matter uneasy of the thought of some dead animals?" Otto dangled the boots in front of void.

Moonlit himself had arrived quite late to the apartment in question. It wasn't really his kind of thing to be late. He hated being late, and it clearly showed with this new endeavor he was going through. "Uggggghh... I hate being late." He reiterated, before flying up to the balcony above, looking for the exact apartment that he was told every pony else would be. "Hmmm... it's not this one, or this one?" He eventually found the correct apartment. He hovered in front of the window and knocked on it, but not hard enough to break the glass.
