Silverhoof 2,844 February 22, 2015 Share February 22, 2015 (edited) I woke up with my hand on the light switch. My wife says I threw her off and jumped out of bed with a yell! She's back to sleep. I'm here at the computer with some ice cream.OK, I was in a small town of about 2000. and only 50 of us made it to a church. it was the Night of the Hungry Dead. No one else believed enough to seek sanctuary at the church. I was thinking zombies, but these were not the result of a virus, these were...unholy.The doors were barred, the windows shuttered. Holy water was sprinkled on all the openings. The women and children were sent to the basement. The men had to watch the doors. At nightfall the screaming started. all across the town you could hear people scream. There were running foot steps and pounding at the doors. Then screams and odd sounds I cannot begin to describe mixed with the growling of wolves. The priests told us to step away as blood pooled underneath the doors. You could hear the hungry dead scratching at the doors and walls. But they couldn't force their way into holy ground, unless the doors were opened for them. There was a crack in a shuttered window. I went to look out. I was warned not to, but I did anyway...The moon was full and blood red, giving a hellish red glare. The town was wrecked, cars on fire, buildings literally torn down. Bodies were everywhere, being devoured by the dead. There were THOUSANDS of the dead. They were not zombies like in the movies, they were skeletal with a thin layer of decayed skin stretched over bones. The dead had empty eye sockets, bared teeth, and their fingers were stripped of flesh to be boney claws. They wore no clothes and were red with the spattered blood of their victims. They only moved when you weren't looking at them. First they were frozen eating their victims. Then they ALL looked at me. Thousands of them were all aware I was looking at them. And then they all silently rushed the window I was at...and that's when I woke up. out of bed, with my hand on the light switch.Haven't had a dream like this in a long time...I'm not gonna turn the lights off for a while.I know it sounds goofy and all. but this was seriously intense. Lemon Slices 358 February 22, 2015 Share February 22, 2015 I read in some article that the human brain forget about 90% of the dream 10 minutes after waking up. That's why I am impressed. Is it too bad to be addicted to a game?
Argumedies 1,748 February 23, 2015 Share February 23, 2015 I had a real doozy the other night and I can still remember it quite clearly. Warning, this is gruesome but I won't detail I was a construction worker that was demo-ing a building. But the building was inside a mountian. Now the section I was working, (if you can picture this) in one corner there was a cut out section, I'm guessing approx 30 x 30ft deep with a concrete ceiling and rock above supported by a single piller. Far inside off each corner wall was two office rooms and in each room was 2 people, (4 total) And then there was this child, maybe 3 yrs old walking in the center of the large opening. And I'm watching this from about 30 or so ft away, when a front end loader smashed the piller and the concrete ceiling starts to crack All can do is yell run and the child takes off for the inside, the horror of what's happening freezes me, Two of the people in the rooms see what's happening and they start to run, and thankfully the first grabs the child and literely throws him out from under the slab, the first man runs out and the second barely tumbles out of the way as everything collapses... But the other two men, didn't make it. I've had a lot of bad dreams, but never has anyone died in them. I just don't know what to make of it
MysticShine 529 February 23, 2015 Share February 23, 2015 Sounds like you've been watching too many zombie movies lately. It almost seems too organized to be a dream. Even in the most normal of dreams, something completely out of place will happen.

I've had tons of extremely disturbing and graphically violent dreams, so I know how it feels.
