Crackshot sat down with Ezekiel to listen to him, and to look at him on an even level. He glanced down at the sword once the zebra had drawn it.

Once he had brought attention to his pendant, he nodded in understanding.

"Apparently, those symbols are the ones the Goddesses used when they were alive," he told him, feeling like he had to bring it up, "Maybe it's a clue to where your...thing, is?"

"I've had this all my life, long before the reliquary was stolen, there's no clue within my talisman to which I'm not already beholden. It was still gifted to me by a rite." The talisman began to glow gently. "It too was bound with a spirit, one of hope and light."

Dashia took to wing in an anxious attempt to keep herself calm. She spins in the air. The sprites reacting and swirling around her as if aiding her in her spin. It is slow paced and gentle. No more then a gentle breeze blew up to ruffle her mane and tail.

"Nice sprites." Ezekiel said almost casually observing Dashia's aerial display. Minor air spirits that sometimes hung around certain pegasi, they obviously saw something special in her. They looked like the faded ghosts of Breezies. Some amongst his people deposited that they in fact were the spirits of the Breezies, unable to get home before the megaspells hit, now trapped in a limbo.

Crackshot noticed the talisman glow, tilting his head as he wondered how that could be possible. Probably some shaman thing.

It was pretty cool though.

"You said it was stolen," he mentioned, glancing back up to the zebra's eyes, "had anypony visit your home lately? Strangers, shifty types?"

If there was one thing he knew about wasteland ponies, a great majority of them had a bad case of kleptomania. Himself included.

"Oh we all knew the culprit, a thief named Grifter, I was simply the only one fit enough to be his pursuer. He came into our home, we offered him aid, he returned the sentiment by stealing our most holy item, to get paid." Ezekiel sheathed Khalid. "My weapon is no relic from the world of old it was forged recently for me, of steel and gold. It's personal, and blessed like my talisman, it is so much more than a mere weapon." Ezekiel hopefully explained why he was so crossed before.

Ezekiel was about to explain when that sprite appeared before him.

"Of course I can see you gentle sprite, I am a Shaman, I have the spirit sight." He turned to Dashia. "Although you never may have known it when you ascend, it seems you've attracted a following of little friends."

Chip continued working with a grin on his face after the letter was brought to him and that he was working on this cannon.

He cut the last inch of the turret hood that he was cutting away. The hood dropped to the ground with a loud thud causing the ground to shake slightly.

Chip stood up and looked up at Greshken. "Can you pull that hood off for me, I'm going to get a simple trigger for it." He asked as he took off to his shop once again taking his torch kit with him.

Chip reached his shop and dropped the torch kit inside. He went into his back room and dug around eventually finding a basic compression trigger.

Chip left his shop with the trigger in his magic and approached the cannon where he found the turret hood removed from the cannon. Chip went up to it and easily attached the trigger, the cannon was now operable with a unicorn having to be under it. "There you go gresh, it's crude but it will do the job. Tried completing it quickly so we could get moving." He said walking back from the cannon and sat down by himself to not butt in on anypony's conversation.

I've been getting more into writing fanfics, mainly MLP since it has such a deep pool of creativity to pull from.

I'm good with character and story concepts, so if you need help with a fanfic or something feel free to Private message me

But don't be hurt if I have to decline if I'm tapped out for a bit. Otherwise I'm fairly good at it just sometimes I have to let my mind subconsciously think of some ideas.

The sprite says, "She helped me. If it wasn't for her I wouldn't exist anymore. Of course she had friends not normally seen. I myself don't have the strength but maybe you can help her see us. We give her power when she needs it. We gave her the winds b ack on the farm when she was angered about her new friend."

The sprite points to Aile when saying her last words. She then asks, "Then you know what we were before the great fall?"

Dashia asks, "Why? I don't remember ever causing this to happen."

"This sprite says you helped her in a time past. Though you can't see them, to you, they hold fast. As I said before, they are intangible things, in this case, they are literally, the wind beneath your wings." Ezekiel explained to the confused looking pegasus hovering above him.

She says, "Like my weather magic? So I helped one? Does it have a name? I might be able to remember if I did help it or not with its name."

The sprite nods to Ezekiel, "Gentle Breeze is my name. I was once a breezie before the great war. After the explosion my kind found ourselves trapped in an elemental like state. When Dashia was a filly, she found me in a weakened state, on a cloud, near her home. She nursed me back to health and this is my way of thanking her."

Ezekiel nods and turns to his friend.

"This one says she knows you for when you brought her back to ease, she calls herself by the name Gentle Breeze." The Shaman clarified. Well that was one theological mystery he had confirmed to his circle for when he returned.

Dashis says, "Gentle Breeze...It rings a bell. Wait...you mean that little Breezie looking thing? The one I had to beg mom to help me heal? The one who looked white as a ghoast before I helpped it? But that was nearly 20 years ago. I was a foal back then." She looks shocked. She hadn't remembered that incedent in almost 20 years.

Ezekiel turned and conversed with the spirit. Of course to Dashia, it looked like he was nodding at mid-air.

"A . . . 'rad burst' blasted her from her friends, high above the clouds, she thought it was the end. She is grateful, for you aiding such a small sprite, she saw that you had it in your do to what was right." Ezekiel nodded.

Dashia smiles and says, "If only I could see her now. I would tell her to think nothing of it. I love anything to do with the sky and flight. It only seemed natural to help the sky stay strong."

Dashia spins again. She spins in a motion that says 'I love being up here'.

The other sprites are swirling around her and Gentle says, "I never left her. She lost the child like innocence that allowed her to see us. We will help her become strong with the sky, for as long as she needs us. I will remain with her, till she passes beyond."

"Thank you, holy one." Ezekiel bows in respect to the sprite. He looks to Dashia.

"You have been given a great gift, a blessing from the air spirits, so that your soul as much as your body should lift. I'm not sure if I can perform the rite, but if I could, seeing them, you just might."

Dashia smiles but also gives a confused look. "What do you mean?"

The sprite laughs at Dashia's confusion. "She is somewhat still the child she use to be. Maybe you and me can work something out to help her see us in our full glory. She doesn't know, but our other friends wish to help her. However as she is now, they can't. The number you see is all that can be near her without hurting her. My kind has heard my tale of her kind compasion and wish to help her as well."

Ezekiel rubbed the back of his head.

"Not that simple it is, holy sprite, for her to regain the spirit sight. It's not simply reciting chants and process done, no it requires a matter once provided by the Goddess of the sun." He genuflected and held a hoof to his talisman upon mentioning Celestia. He then looked again to Gentle Breeze. " . . . faith."

"Grifter, Grifter..." Crackshot muttered, glancing down in thought as Ezekiel went off to speak with Dashia.

Grifter...the name rang a bell...sounded like a raider...

...wait, that's right. He ran into him before. A bounty hunter, much like himself, but with much less morality. He'd worked with him before on a job, and he remembered it being not particularly pleasant.

He glanced over to Ezekiel to let him know, but found him...talking to himself.

He blinked, and shook his head. He can let him know some other time, when this crap with the chip quiets down.

Though, once he'd explained how his sword was a precious gift entrusted to him, his quite-frankly murderous look when he looked at it before made a lot more sense. He'd be much more careful in the future.

Gentle Breeze think for a moment and then asks, "Is there a way for one of my kind to become visbible for all to see? And if faith is what she lacks then faith is what must be taught."

Dashia's curiosity gets the better of her. "Umm...Ezekiel, is there a reason for what your saying? Why would faith be an important factor in what your saying? I am willing to learn and understand your ways, but this faith you speak of may come or it may not. I just don't know. But I am willing to learn once we settle the main matter at hoof.

those who go to Manehatten can check this guy out.

Gentle Breeze asks, "She has faith in the sky. My kind in full are of the sky. Those of us here now are wind sprites but there are also cloud and storm sprites that wish to meet her. As for another factor in this, She has a hidden strength that we are trying to surface but it is harder to guide her if she can't even hear us.

Would it be posible to make it so she can hear us at least?"

Virtue

After Virtue had returned from opening the safe for Crackshot, she adressed Dashia. "I'm sorry to interrupt your conversation with Ezekiel. I'm certain it's very important, but I believe it is time to go. We cannot afford to lose any more time." Turning to the others as well, she tried to assume a slightly commanding, but mostly persuasive position. "If we go now, we might be able to meet up again in about a week, considering our travelling time will be lengthly. We do not have any way to communicate." She paused for a moment and glanced at Dashia's pip-buck. She wasn't familiar with the Vault-tech issued computer, so she didn't know its capabilities. "At least not in any way I can think of. We'll have to trust that we wait for eachother back at Junction town. Let's just aim for a week and hope for the best."

Greshken

Lifting the cannon back up, he grinned at it with great excitement. "Ah, mine at last. You'll never know how much this means to me Chip." He sighed, turning to look at the mechanic. Only then he realised that he wasn't going to come along with him. Slightly distressed, Greshken frowned. "Going with Dashia might pose to be a problem for me if the Cannon malfunctions. I wont be able to re-" He then stopped himself. Looking at the weapon again, he remembered.

"I forgot about the spirit for a moment. It wont break on me..." It seemed as if a grand realisation dawned upon him, and his grin became even wider. "I have nothing to fear as long as I have enough ammunition. This weapon might be far more powerful than I imagined." Taking action and following Virtues words, he simply started moving in the general direction in which he knew he would find the road that lead to manehatten. He just assumed that the others would eventually follow him. "Let

How would you walk, how would you talk if you thought: "Three percent of the population likes classical music, if only we could get it up to four percent we'd be back in business and all our problems would be over." How would you walk, how would you talk if you thought: "Everybody loves classical music! They just haven't found out about it yet!" It's an entirely different world. It's what you make of it that counts.

I found an easy way to find out if you've inspired someone. If their eyes are shining, you know you're doing it!

Chip listened to Virtue who was suggesting they should all get moving. He then looked at Greshken who was addressing him.

"I'm glad you like it Greshken, just be careful with the trigger. I don't have the solder to fully attach it so the wires are just clamped down to it, so the trigger can be ripped off." He said turning toward Virtue.

"By the way Virtuosity, I paid for my medical visit earlier so Verdant still owes you one." He said grinning.

Chip turned to Dashia looking up at her, "I'll meet you by my shop when you're ready to go." He said running off through Ponyville with a slight limp because of the bullet he took from Ricto

Once Chip was at his shop he walked inside looking around making sure he didn't want anything else from the shop, thinking of all the weapons he had upstairs he determined most of them weren't worth salvaging because of the inferior supplies he had to rely on. He grabbed his torch kit lighting the torch and tossing it to the ground as he abandoned his shop. The floor was quickly set ablaze with the fire quickly building.

Chip retreated to a safe distance and watch as his shop was being engulfed in fire. He had a strange feeling of serenity wash over him, Chip finally had no reason to return to Ponyville a place that he has always hated that was led by a pony who was the only pony Chip truly hated as of recently. He could finally move on and either keep adventuring with his new friends or find a new home to start another business.

The sprites says, "One more thing, a message for her."

She turns to the others and says something in the Breezie language. Many of the sprites head away only to come back with leaves from a near by area.

What everyone else sees is a bunch of leaves floating on the wind.

The leaves begin to settle as the sprites place them down. It take a moment before the leaves all settle and form an image of a pair wings faned out from a lightning bolt. She says, "A symbol long ago forgoten the true meaning of. This is our gift to Dashia. It means Sky Warden." Gentle Breeze says after the leaves are placed. The sprites then hover near Dashia waiting on Ezekiel's action.

Dashia watches as the symbol forms. She gives a very confused look to the symbol. "Ezekiel what just happened?"

She looks to Virtue and says, "Ok let me finish this last thing. Then I will meet with Chip. We will headout from his shop.

Crackshot reloaded the rounds in his assault rifle and checked if Persuasion had enough shells. If he was going to Manehattan, he'd have to go armed to the teeth. Goddesses know what kind of shit lurked in those ruins.

He turned as he heard the sound of blazing, and looked as Chip was watching his shop burn up in flames. He got up to act, but then remembered that Chip wanted this. To remove all traces of his life here.

A new start.

He quickly calmed down and simply returned to inspect his weapons. Virtue was right; it was time to head out soon. Aile, Ezekiel and Greshken looked ready to go, though this team felt like the ingredients for a full blown meltdown if any of them got out of hoof.

Good thing he had three peacekeepers on him.

Dashia says, "That symbol reminds me of father's old enclave stories. But what does it mean? Why did they show us this symbol?"

Dashia etches the symbol to memory and the memories of her father's tales line up to it.

She waits for the meaning of the symbol hovering there. The sprites look cheerful at Ezekiel's words but also wait for the meaning to be given.
