I wouldn't expect too much like this to happen

I want to start this off by saying Equestria seems to work the same way ours does, you got the bullying, the high classes looking down on those below them, etc. Even if you do everything right, you end up hurting more than you're trying to save. Twilight for instance, has caused more harm than good on one or more occasion, using a charm spell on her doll to make others want it. This impacted them more than she realizes, in what way? toying with their emotions is one example.

Celestia has her share of this as well, sending others to do what she could have done herself, in short; she put everypony in danger by letting six in experienced ponies do her work for her. She had the power to use the elements, but chose not to. And don't think i don't know that she did it for, cause i do. Now her biggest mistake was not sensing this change in Luna; putting everypony in danger. That eternal night would have killed all of them, without the sun, the whole planet would turn cold, if you don't get it yet: At night, the temperature drops, and being exposed to it long enough will result in plants dying and worse.

These are examples of bad leadership, nopony is perfect in their jobs i know, but even if you think you're doing the right thing, you're fooling yourself, all you've done is created more problems for others.

So this makes their world the same as ours.

I think that their world was supposed to be like ours so we could grow more attached to the show and perhaps feel a somewhat human connection to these talking ponies. That's the vibe I get from it anyways.

I don't care what pony you like because I like everypony!

Yeah, i mean there are a few thinks that seperate us, but it's really similar.

We all make mistakes sometimes, even the guys who are in a position of power.

I agree with what is stated above. However, one is not able to conclude so quickly that it caused serious damage to the moral fiber of the community. Although Celestia had to intervene, it was not as bad as it could have been. This incident teaches Twilight the qualities of self-regulation. She experiences character development after learning to be more humble. She starts to realize that sometimes being a good student is being able to stand up for yourself and have the humility to ask for extensions on due dates, and what not. Unfortunately, Celestia just excuses it all together (mostly), so whatever.

I believe that leaders should not always do things all by themselves, though they have the abilities to do so. It is much like any monarchy or hierarchy, really. You would never send your head of state on dangerous missions alone, you let the soldiers and other people do the work. This is not because the leader is foolish, but because it is necessary. The figurehead must always appear as powerful and invincible. This begs the question, "What if Celestia got injured?". Surely, this would negatively affect her reputation by insane amounts. One loses the silhouette of a "god" once they bleed. After an incident like the debut of Nightmare Moon, you'd expect Celestia to take more precautions in not being seen getting injured. Defeating an enemy doesn't always mean making them surrender, but is sometimes more relevant to proving to their people that the hero is not invincible. The lack of invincibility makes a hero just as vulnerable as anyone else, and people notice and think about this stuff. Celestia intervened with Nightmare Moon only because she knew no one could contest NMM's capabilities. Celestia probably hesitated to use the elements because it is unwise to use your secret weapon against all enemies, only for drastic measures do people rely on their backup.

Their society still works differently from ours in some way. There seems to be a larger majority of kind ponies than mean ones. While yeah there are cruel ponies, we've seen them, but ponies seem to be a lot kinder in nature. Also Celestia trusted Twilight, her star pupil, with those tasks. Equestria is obviously in capable hands considering evil has yet to triumph (or not for long). Think of the main cast as the majordomos for equestria.

Also, in a worldly sense, when I started watching the show I use to think that beyond the everfree forest was like the human world, since, I think fluttershy, mentioned that it's weather patterns and stuff worked on its own without the help of the pegassi

And the leaders arent corrupt or powermongers, theyre just and fair, and Celestia is a motherly figure

I know some things are not the same, but i'd say 50/50 in percentage. Only a guess.

Maybe so, but i'm sure she can't cater to everypony's needs all the times

She doesn't have to. It isn't her job.

She doesn't have to. It isn't her job.

How about the nobles who come to have a word about a petition of sorts, that would be one of them.(at least i think so). There are times we see her go to meeting with nobles, but they never always go to plan, always infighting amongst them. But i can bet if you set something of infinite value in front of them, you'd get that same greedy reaction we get when we want what we can't have. Am i wrong?

I'm not saying that a princess should not use any reliable resource can, but at least think how it would impact everypony else before acting upon it; its common sense.

So we have seen that not all plans work out like we wish them to, but we never seem to learn from that mistake no matter how many times we encounter it. But the ponies seem to do just that, learn from it and improve upon themselves better than we do.

Quite sad to see what we could have have become if we did the same, but all we know is war and never seem to get enough, ever expanding , and never satisfied. The ponies however seem content with what they have and never expand on any other's territory. Its all peaceful in their world, but we on the other hand have no such thing waiting for us, only a death befitting our actions.

You say "Celestia could have used the Elements" but I'm not too sure of that.  I think that Luna & Celestia originally used them (to stone Discord, for example) but that when Luna became NMM she lost her contact.  Celestia lost hers when she was forced to use them against Luna.  Remember, she never had control of all of them & they were inactive when found.

As to making the Mane 6 handle things.  Sure, she could do it but how would they learn.  By letting them do things & make mistakes but grow, T became capable of being an alicorn.

Although, sending them to the Crystal Empire without Luna's help was probably as big a mistake as T not calling for help when she realized what was going on.

If you recall in The Return of Harmony, Celestia stated that she and Luna are no longer connected to the Elements of Harmony, and therefore could not use them. Besides, even if she did use them, all that would happen is Luna would get banished to the moon again, and the same process would repeat again in 1000 years.

Must have not heard that in the episode then, my bad.
