Your opinion on antagonist redemption?

Hayao Miyazaki have some redeemable antagonists in his films before, like in Naussica and the Valley of the Wind and Princess Mononoke, once they were confronted with the very evil they were part of, they saw the folly of their beliefs, the Grinch and Ebenezar Scrooge were partly antagonists, and they had redemption, so many of the characters in MLP have a chance, for everyone is capable of good or evil actions, My Little Pony has the mane six with multiple duplicities, so Lighting Dust, Trixie and Diamond Tiara may have an opportunity, finally we have seen redemption in Friendship is Magic, through Babs Seed and Sunset Shimmer, so that would make the show a fair second chance for everypony, no matter what spectrum they stand on.

If the episodes-be they singles, two-parters, three-parters and so on-showing the redemption are done and executed RIGHT at a great pace and answer to the reasons behind the sins of the antagonists and everyone that had a hand in the villain's wrongdoings, then I won't mind the villains being redeemed.

I like them as long as there aren't too many.

There have been a lot of antagonist reformations so far, so I think they should stop it for a while.

It is a series about friendship and understanding. I think redemption is inevitable in a lot of situations. It works better here than it does in a lot of other shows.

this power is mine! It is my light. In brightest day or blackest night! I lay claim to all that falls with my sight!! To take what I want that is my right!
Fear the power of avarice. It consumes all who dare touch it.
