TheMisterManGuy 344 March 17, 2015 Share March 17, 2015 In the US, we've had dozens of tween oriented programing on Nickelodeon and Disney Channel over the years for that that awkward, barely a teenager (middle school) stage. But in Japan, do you consider most of the shonen and shojo anime to be that countries' equivalent of tween programming, since they both target young audiences? IMO, they don't seem any different to the superhero shows like Spiderman, Batman, etc., that we normally watched on Saturday mornings Shojo, however, I think is a bit different.
