Sinusoid sets his unicycle at a wall before entering the throne room, and walks in, doing what the others are doing, once again silently. As Celestia says that they would go into Tartarus to retrieve this amulet, the scale of the mission is finally defined. Sinusoid seriously wants to yell angrily about how vague the message was, and that it should have mentioned that, but he would never react that way to authority.

@, How shall we get to Tartarus milady? *Silver asked curiously* And how will we return from there once we're in? If we are caught behind the gates and imprisoned there with such foul creatures we would be lost forever. I would gladly lay down my life for you though milady.

"im glad you asked that, silver." she said, "these are special pendants, hoof-crafted by me, and when you whisper 'in' to them, they will teleport you into tartarus. whisper 'out' and you will re-appear here." she gave them to the ponies. "whatever you do, do not lose them."

"I'm always like this, and I would normally be perfectly all right, except for the fact that I am feeling obligated to risk my life to find an amulet in an incredibly dangerous place, not to mention that this situation makes me feel like I am definitely not as skilled as I think that I am, and I have been lying to myself." Sinusoid responds quite hastily without changing tone, and only loud enough to be heard by Ice.

Wilhelm turned the pendant over in his hoof, and took a small device out of his saddlebags, which he used to examine the pendant.

"Improved, ranged version of a contained wink spell, voice-activated and tuned to specific locations. Very interesting, Madame."

He slipped it over his neck and glanced around at the other ponies.

"We ready for this?"

Understood your highness! I will not let you down! *he said with confidence as he took one of the pendants and put it on* With this blade and this armor I am all but invincible! Those foul creature of Tartarus shall not best me! And if I die it will be with my honor in tact!

At this time, Sinusoid becomes worried to the point where he is physically shaking, and asks Celestia "What are the chances of death? I could calculate it, but I have no real experience in going to other worlds."

To him, death was one thing that he feared over almost all else, and he would never have even thought that he would risk it for anything, so he honestly contemplates leaving the room and never coming back.

I recommend that all of you stay behind me at all times. This armor cannot be penetrated by any conventional means and is also resistant to elements. Please allow me to protect you my fellow brothers in arms! If we work together we cannot and shall not fail!

IB wanted to reassure SM, "You don't have to worry about anything dude, I got your back all right? Trust me, you stick with me and will get through this like a cold chill through a pony's skin."

[Loud enough for everypony to hear]"I'm ready guys. But I have another question, should we prepare for this as a team and formulate a plan?" Said Blizz quizzically. "Because if we just chargein there right now, that's a guaranteed death wish. I say we meet again tomorrow in a classified location to come up with a plan all right?"

Wilhelm nodded appreciatively. Ice had passed the test he set. However, the same couldn't be said for SS....

"Agreed. I have a certain...secure...place. Use this keycode to get in."

He handed out a single card with an adress on it, listed as high in the Canterlot Mountain Range. It also had a sixteen-digit, alphanumeric code that was presumably the door code. Wilhelm gave a rare smile.

"I have....some ideas. Think fireworks show....with more death."

And more importantly, the surface area of your armor is equivalent to that of several shields, so it shouldn't be extremely expensive; so, why couldn't we have something like those, in shield form?" He then turns back to Ice; "Why must the time be tomorrow, and the location be classified? It seems unnessicary if we could plan here."

caliber really wasn't paying attention. to anyone, really. he lost interest when celestia stopped talking. alls he cared about was his cake. but he was thinking. deeply.  'so, we got the mage.' he thought, looking at ice blizzard, 'the warriors, me and silver, the guy who dosent wanna go,' he looked at sinusoid's aura, which showed him as panicking. 'then we got the tactics guy. what was his name? wilhelm. seems good to me.'

My armor is enchanted by magic. That is why it is so shiny. Before that it was mere ordinary gray steel. Only other enchanted weapons can damage it. And my sword was forged with all of the blessings of purity and rightouesness. And as such it was designed for battling evil. And it can never harm the innocent. In short, It can only be used for good.

IB was candid at this point, "Strictly because 1. This black pegasus guy could have spies on his side. We need to go somewhere only known to us, for the sake of confidentiality. 2. Tomorrow as in ASAP so we can spend all day coming up with a plan then embark for Tartarus the next day."

He looked at SM with worry, he hoped that he wouldn't crack under pressure. That's why, hoping to gain a friend, IB said he'll watch SM's back and keep him focused.

"Ok guys if everypony is in agreement, Will (Wilhelm) give us the secret location and let's meet up there tomorrow to form our plan. Does that sound good?"

Sinusoid contemplates the statement for a few moments, and says, "You do have a point, and the proposed place for us to meet up would assumedly have the resources for us to formulate a more effective plan... Actually, if this should be done as soon as possible, and we have flexible sleep schedules, we could complete this planning approximately fourteen hours earlier."

Wilhelm waved a hoof.

"It's on the cards. I can promise the highest security- and the best refreshments."

Wilhelm gave a smile.

"I have a excellent vintage wine collection, various cakes,' here, he looked directly at Caliber, "and several various other delicacies. Now, if you excuse me....I have a bunker to prepare."

With a wink and a tap to a map he had taken out of his saddlebag, Wilhelm disassembled into particles the color of his coat and then disappeared.

 

OOC: It's a map with several teleportation spells tied to it, in various areas.

Watching Wilhelm suddenly leave, Sinusoid corrects himself; "All right, never mind the saving of an entire fourteen hours. Now... I should probably go home, pack my vest pockets for tomorrow, and literally write my last will, because I'll make the decision to come with the group; I might actually be useful to this."

Awesome! The plan had been fortified! IB said triumphantly, "Whoo-ya! Guys we got the plan! Your Highness, your artifact will be in your possession before the week is over. And keep your cool SM and you'll do fine. but what about Cal and SS? What'll you guys do to prep for the meeting?"

Caliber's train of thought was broken, when he heard an abbreviated version of his name. he looked at him. "dunno...sharpen my sword and review my moves a bit?" he didnt really care, he was confident in his skills. but still...if someone tried to steal it, and they lost it, wouldnt they already be trying to get it back? also, he cant shake the feeling they were being watched.

"Well well..." A Guard had said quietly through the door, as one guard pony lays asleep on the ground. "Sounds like fun, and bountiful in coin" He chuckled in thought and left going to where the guard she knocked out earlier and had stolen his armor. He put the guards armor back on him and switched back to his normal attire. He left the guard unconscious where he laid and heads of to find this amulet that was mentioned going to tartarus.

(There, i joined xD I won't be on tomorrow for i am gaming with family and friends. Then sunday i work from 1 to whenever i'm not needed after 8 Eastern Time Zone. Plus depending on actions of everypony. My Character might react against or with or neither for you guys. So you know, she is quite skilled. Able to stand on her hind hooves and walk on them, run on them for quite a time. Thinking from a scale 1-5, 1 being completely human and 5 being completely Pony. Fey is a 5 but can do abilities like a 4 would be able to but for a short time. )

IB woke up the next morning with the readiness of a true soldier, he freeze-dried his rations of food (he had no idea how long he'd be down in Tartarus) practiced some ice moves for a bit and was on the move towards Will's house. IB was enthusiastic, "Oh boy, I can't wait to discuss our plans *puts his voice down for fear of being heard by an enemy force* for. the. party. Hmmmm... *look around to see if he's being followed* I better pick it up by skating." He said in a rush. "I hope SM isn't still scared like yesterday I don't know if he's gonna make it in Tartarus with an attitude like that. As long as we stick together like a tongue on a frozen pole, we got this!" IB thought as he skated with a look of determination in his eyes. "This is gonna be cool!"

*Silver waited patiently in the throne room for the others to arrive. He had gotten up bright and early and had already had a big breakfast and was ready to head on out.*

I have arrived your highness! What are your first orders milady? *he asked as he bowed to Princess Celestia in respect and looked up at her*

Blizz looked over and saw Cal skating, "Oh hey--- How are you skating like me?! I'm creating the ice as I skate on it, how are you doing it too?" 

"As far as the mission goes, I'm ready for anything!" He said confidently, "I even perfected me freezerang (freezing boomerang). Watch *throws it and it hits a dead tree freezes it and blows it up with an icy explosion* Ok didn't see that coming, I guess I gotta practice a bit more. What about you .50 Cal? How are you doing?"
