Ticktock fell for what seemed like forever he could have used his magic but he was to scared to and now without his treasured goggles he felt sort of empty so he just closed his eyes and waited for deaths grip to take him and hoped it would not hurt.

Blizzard was surprised, "Aaah! Ok um, I might've done a good job leading us through the ship, but that's Radiant's job." *looks at Radiant* "What are your orders sir? Should I evacuate ponies, or attempt to douse the flames with a little snow?" Ha asked as he charged himself up.

He saw Ticktock falling and made an ice net to catch him, "I gotcha! Ice net!"

Tyra overheard Icarus's instructions and decided to take action herself. She moved out to evacuate as many ponies as possible, making sure they weren't hurt by fiery debris.

 

She looked back up at the airship, cursing herself at how they had failed again. The monsters were getting away, and they'd failed to save the town from destruction.

 

She sighed, but tried to focus hard on the task at hand. These ponies came first, after all.

After Ticktock was caught in the ice net he just shivered and started rocking backwards and forwards. The whole experience had left he traumatised he could not talk walk or even use him magic not to mention the fact that his goggles had gone for even if he hadn't known it they gave him much of his confidence.

As the town evacuated, Icarus walked over to the unconscious guard he had tranquilized earlier. He looked down at them, they were still out cold. They would have big questions to answer, and much pain if they refused. How anyone could follow a person that would willingly attack innocent ponies was beyond him. He bound them tightly with some nearby rope before moving out. 

 

" Move away from the town!" ICarus yelled to the survivors, " Get away from the blaze. If you have any severe wounds, come to me" He yelled.

Blizzard made his ice net disappear and asked Ticktock, "Yo are you ok? We gotta evacuate this town as fast as possible! Either show the townsponies where to go, or help with the evac, either-or, don't just stand there! Get moving!" Blizzard said as he proceeded to evac the ponies.

Radiant continued to help his team with the evacuation of ponies leading them away from the city. He ran from house to house coaxing any ponies he found out of their homes. 

 

He came across a few homes that had already collapsed so he begun using his magic to dig through the debris in search of any survivors.

Even as Blizzard talked Ticktock was still traumatised he just continued to rock back and forward back and forward. All he could hear in his head was the sadistic laughter on the mare as she had  dropped him out the airship and when she destroyed his goggles. He felt like and empty husk

Tyra continued to coax citizens out of their homes to follow Icarus and Radiant out of town. The sheer destruction and blaze gave her flashbacks of the twelve-hour war against the molten dogs, and not exactly in an uplifting way.

 

She glanced ahead and saw Blizzard talking to Ticktock, who seemed to be rocking back and forth. She trotted up to him as Blizzard left to help citizens, and she could see the poor unicorn was traumatised. She noticed his goggles were missing.

 

"The witch." She snarled, picking Ticktock up on her back and walking with the citizens to get him to safety.

She knew how he felt, when that mare had taken her axe.

 

She'd never lost a fight with that axe, but ever since she lost it, she was losing battles left and right. Against the mare, and now these pirates.

 

"It is true that a warrior is not made from their weapon," she muttered to herself, "but, if I cannot fight without my axe, what does that make me...?"

Blizzard kept on telling ponies where to go, "Come on, this way! Follow the crowd that's running! Get as far away from here as possible! Go! Go! Go!" Blizzard burst into ponies' houses and told them toevacuate as quickly as possible and told the ponies who were already outside to follow others who were evac-ing.

Radiant finished searching every home he could, whether it was just a pile of debris of a home that was still standing. He departed the city with a few more ponies behind him and that they had rescued a large group of ponies. Radiant had the ponies he had following him join the others, he wasn't sure what to do with them all. There was the outpost far north but that would be too far for these ponies to walk, especially once they hit the cold. As he looked down the train tracks Radiant noticed the tracks have been damaged.

 

Radiant walked back into the city taking a piece of charred wood so he could write and begun writing on some of the paper 'Z' gave him. 'Can you pass on a message to Celestia or anypony that can get word to her that the tracks up by vanhoover had been damaged?' He wrote in a rough style from using a piece of burnt wood. He tossed the note into the fire and as it burned the smoke rose and begun flying through the air.

Blizzard was unsure of where to go next so he asked Radiant after he saw him toss wood into a fire, "Raid, where are we taking the ponies to? I mean is there an outpost or something like last time, and if there is where is it? Because we gotta get these ponies to safety. *sigh* It seems like wherever we go, towns get destroyed, I'd feel even worse if we don't get them safe ASAP."

Tyra followed Radiant and his group of refugees out of the city, leading Ticktock and her own group after them.

The outpost was far away from where they were, and the train tracks had been damaged by the airships. So they needed a plan.

 

"Perhaps we could build our own outpost around here?" She suggested, to anypony in her group who might be listening, "And we can continue tomorrow when everypony is rested, then keep doing it until we get there?"

 

She grinned, confident in her idea. "I mean, it couldn't be too far, yes?"

Radiant looked at Tyra and Blizzard who were asking him what the next move should be, he himself was having a tough time thinking of anything. "Well the walk would be to far for injured ponies and without a lot of food and water the trek becomes exponentially more dangerous once we hit the cold. plus most supplies were probably destroyed by the fire so at the best we many find enough supplies for two tents which isn't enough to hold this many ponies comfortably." He added still racking his brain over what they should do. "We won't have any trains coming this way because I sent a message to Celestia telling her the tracks are damaged. We have no way of communicating with Tybalt..."

 

Radiant began pacing back and forth looking back into the city. "Well chances are near zero that they would attack Vanhoover again, we can stay within the city and try to find a few houses or a building large enough for everypony that hasn't been destroyed yet." He suggested looking back at the two. "If we do that we will need you Blizzard to work fire detail and keep the fires off the buildings we choose for shelter."

Blizzard made a gun cocking motion with his foreleg, "Ch-chk! Good idea sir! *Blizzard jumped up*That's seems like the best option to go with, and that's also why you're our leader! Now seriously, which buildings do you need me to douse? And if we do carry out this plan, we gotta tell all the townsponies to start backing up *walks backwards* and up and up, into the town. Just need to find the biggest buildings to keep them in. Then maybe if we find some supplies later, we can take them to the out post?"

Radiant nodded at Blizzard and gestrued for Blizzard to follow him as he begun running back into the City. "Blizzard and I will find a building, Tyra you go back and take care of the refugees with Icarus. Remember try to keep an eye on each other so that mare doesn't go after anypony else." He called back right before he rounded a corner.

 

After running through the city a while scanning every building they passed Radiant finally saw a larger structure ahead of them. The structure looked like a theater and had just barely caught fire. "Blizzard that's the one up there, douse the flames and we will inspect it to make sure it is safe." He commanded as he continued running to the building.

Blizzard followed orders with the gun motion again, "Ch-chk! Yes sir! Non-lethat snow blast! And there! Right here! Aha!" Blizzard shot snow at all the places on the theater that were on fire and he went in after Radiant, "Flames are clear si--  woooow this place is huge! *echo* Yay! An echo! *echo* Ooh a stage!" Blizzard runs up onto the stage and pretends he has a microphone in his hooves, "Hey everypony IB here bring you awesome jokes! Ok whaddya call a manticore with earmuffs? Anything you want, he can't hear ya! *rolls on stage laughing* Hahahaha! Good one eh Raid?  " Blizzard said as he fooled around.

"Aye!" Tyra nodded, saluting at Radiant's request, and sprinted off to rejoin Icarus while Radiant led the group toward the theatre.

 

Everypony looked shaken up, some with some minor burns and cuts, but they seemed to all be okay.

Families kept huddled together, making sure each other were safe. They were all visibly upset, but safe.

 

It made her think of her own family, and her fellow villagers back home.

Hopefully they were all safe.

 

She overheard Blizzard's fooling around on stage, and couldn't help but snort at his joke, bad as it was.

Once inside Radiant cast his light spell so he could see if there was any damage to the structure. He continued inspecting everything when he heard Blizzard up on stage acting as if he were a stand up pony. he heard the joke Blizzard shared and asked Radiant what he thought. Keeping his Stoic expression he looked back at Blizzard. "Not bad, I have one for you. What do you call it when a cow jumps over a barbed wire fence?" He asked returning his attention to the structure continuing to inspect it. 

 

After a moment of silence he glanced back at Blizzard. "Udder destruction" he said with a small grin. 

 

Radiant finsihed inspecting the building and it looked safe enough for the ponies to that refuge in it. "Alright let's go gather Tyra and the others, we will bring them here and we will atleast wait until tomorrow before we try relocating so we have a whole day." he said beginning to leave the theater.

Icarus approached the group, from helping several injured ponies. " It seems all the major casualties were at the main impact sites, while most ponies escaped the inferno...... it is a great releif" Icarus said, looking around at everyone. He wondered what they were going to do now, there was little in terms of transportation, and it would not be easy to keep up with a flying ship.

Blizzard was laughing hard at Radiant's joke, "Hahahaha! That wa- that was--- hahaha!   *wipes frozen tear* Oh my Celestia! I knew you had a funny bone Raid! Nopony can resist a good joke!   " Blizzard was laughing all the way out the door and eventually stopped, "Whoo uh ahem. Ok sir, time to get axe girl and the others right?"

Radiant nodded at Blizzard and begun walking back toward where all the other ponies were.

 

Soon Radiant reached them all "Follow me, we found a place to stay for now while we wait for tomorrow." he said gesturing his head back toward the city. 

 

He helped a few of the injured to their hooves and begun leading everypony back toward the theater.

Blizzard was enthusiastically moving, "Ok come on everypony! Follow the cold ice pony to safety! *he points to himself and starts walking backwards towards the theater* And we're walking, and we're walking." Blizzard walk backwards all the way to the theater and bumped into its wall, "Aaand we're walk---oof. *rubs head* Hehe, here we are. OVER HERE! *waves to the crowd*"

Tyra perked up at Radiant's announcement, and adjusted Ticktock slightly on her back as she began walking after him.

"Come, everypony," she gestured to the refugees, "We have a shelter for you all!"

 

As she walked on toward the theatre, she glanced up to Ticktock, still laying limp on her back.

"How are you faring, friend?" She asked softly.

While Ticktock was still very traumatised he was getting a little better because he was able to say "N-n-n-not good" He then starts shivering once again and still attempting to rock Backwards and forwards. Needless to say if Ticktock was going to recover he would need the help of his friends.
