Ticktock looked unfazed "Well your not the only one who has had to do a one on one with her. I was thrown into a dark room with her and she tried to hit me with a hammer and chucked a fake explosive at me also I had shadow daggers thrown at me (which is what took my goggles) and finally she dropped me from the airship. Compared to me you had it easy."

Blizzard got a bit confident and frustrated, "Yeah, but we were all waiting for you at the bottom to catch you. Not only could I have died from blood loss, I was completely on my own with no help or anypony waiting for me. AND you didn't fight her directly either, me and Tyra are the only 2 that have actually gone head to head with this mare dude. Sounds to me like she didn't even fight you at all, she just dropped you outta the ship dude."

Ticktock was about to loss it " Blizzard im just going to walk away because you wont shut up until I admit your right so I am just going to go and calm down" Ticktock then walked out of the bar and sighed "Oh I shouldn't have spoken to Blizzard that way. I just don't know why I am so violent and angry lately."

Blizzard heard what Ticktock had said and watched him walk outside. Blizzard turned around in his chair and sighed, "Aw sh-- I did it again didn't I? Buck!" He slammed his head on the table and looked up at his book, "Darn it. I had to do it again. We've just been through more crap, ...and I did it. I really gotta start rethinking my words." he said as he drank more of his cider.

Suddenly Ticktock's question was answered when I voice inside his head went "Hey Ticky how's it hanging?" Ticktock rolled his eyes then shut them taking him into a vast expanse of whiteness and in it was a pony that looked like him but instead was grey and black. Ticktocks eyes focused on the other pony :okiedokielokie: "What do you want Dark?" Dark replied "Well just to see my favourite brother of course" Ticktock was starting to get angry "NO DARK! the point of a brother is that he is blood related to you. Where as you are just a figment of everything negative, dark and evil about me."

Ah, Icarus!" Tyra grinned widely, trotting over to the doctor, "It is good to see you up and well!"

 

Icarus smiled and took his mask from Tyra. " Thank you my friend, I was wondering were this went" He said. Carefully, he placed his mask on his head, and tightned it, his eyes once again being the only indication he had a face. He tightened his hood and looked to the others, and inspected the new ally.

Tyra smiled as Icarus took his mask back and placed it over his face, regaining his classic creepy look.

"It is good to see you are well," she repeated, "please, join us at the tavern if you wish! You will need a drink, after surviving such an ordeal!"

 

With that, she trotted toward the bar, catching up with Red, and slowing to her pace.

"I hope we have made you feel welcome," she grinned at her, "it is good to finally have another mare to talk to!"

Dark laughed "Oh my Ticky we are still related we are both you. I am you and you are me. I am everything that you could become." Ticktock stopped think if that really is who he could or even will become he then shakes himself out of it "NO! I am not you, you are not me you hear me we are not the same. You only appeared after that incident and I know if I let you have control you will tear Equestria apart!"

"Agreed," Red said to Tyra as they reached the bar. "I haven't talked to others in awhile. I tend to keep myself occupied." She sat at a table and ordered cider. Not too alcoholic, but very good-- which she hadn't had in ages. "I spend most of my days training, day in and day out."

Tyra nodded as she listened to red, hopping onto a chair next to Red and ordering a mug of mead; stronger, but just as tasty.

 

"I like to train every day myself," she agreed, taking a swig of her drink once it'd arrived, "do you meet many other ponies in your travels?"

"Not really," she said, "the most is a travelling caravan that I saved from bandits. I once went months at a time without speaking to any pony." Red took a sip of cider. "Then I realized I was getting very tired of having to find food in the wilderness and I went to the nearest store."

Ticktock had had enough of this "You know what this conversation is OVER!"" With that Ticktock was back out of his dream like state and he walked into the bar again. That was when he saw the others had arrived "Oh hey guys I didn't see you come in so how are you all?"

ICarus stood outside of the Tavern, reading through his journal. He was waiting on the others and trying to peice together what had been happening over the past few months. It was odd, why all this had happened. He also jotted down the new group member, drawing a sketch and putting what he knew of her, as he did for all group members.

Tyra blinked as she listened to Red's story, taking another drink of mead.

"A fellow wandering adventurer, like myself!" She grinned, "I enjoy battling bandits myself, though I wish they would put up more of a fight."

 

The subject of food brought up another couple of questions.

"So, where are you from?" She asked, smiling, "What is it like? What do you do there?"

Ticktock leaned in on Tyra and Red's conversation "Oh yes I would also like to know that in return I shall tell you where I come from." Ticktock was ignoring Dark's shouting in his mind ever though it was annoying he was saying "Oh come on back Ticky or are you chicken?"

Red nodded in greeting at Ticktock before answering. "I am from a rural area, very small town, near Ponyville. My father is the blacksmith there. I came back recently, but what with the recent problems of Equestria I am out fighting now." She took a bigger swig of cider. "And where are you from?" She asked the two of them.

"Ah, a local!" Tyra nodded, grinning widely, "And yet more skilled with a weapon than most ponies I have seen in Equestria!"

 

She took a swig of mead and put on a proud smirk before beginning about her own land.

"I am from the village of Trotstheim, in the Frozen North," she began, putting a hoof to her chest, "My parents, Ralof and Valhalla Shatterhoof, are the leaders, and my older brother, Argus, is currently training to take their place!"

 

Her smirk turned into a grin as she continued. "Although my family is the authority there, everypony in my village is a fighter!"

Well I am from a small town up in the north west of Equestria where we specialise in making various clockwork devices however when I found a love for magic my parents signed me up for magic school here in Canterlot after a graduated I spent some time traveling before I was approached by the order and that as they say is that."

Blizzard leaned over to Ticktock and said, "Hey dude. Sorry if I offended you earlier. You got way more fighting experience than me, and I couldn't realize that until you had left. Please don't be mad bro. I promise I won't mock your experiences ever again." he said with clear regret in his voice.

Red nodded. She peered into her glass and was surprised to fond the cider gone. She hadn't remembered drinking that much. It was better than she remembered. She ordered another.

"Interesting," she said, "no wonder you two are powerful. Your background is..." She was cut off by the arrival of her cider. She began chugging it. "...unique." She finished.

Ticktock smiled "it's ok bro. I shouldn't have spoken to you the way I did ,I'm sorry too." Ticktock goes and give Blizzard a hug "Its just that I have no idea why I am feeling so negative lately. Not to mention the fact that I get sadder and angrier quicker and that I shouldn't take it out on you lot I am sorry."

Blizzard was happy, "Whew that's a relief, thanks Ticktock." He then saw Red and spoke to her, "Hey there Red. How ya doing? Those guys sound interesting and they're great teammates, but do you wanna hear my background story? If you feel like it, I don't wanna bore you..."

Tyra let out a wide toothy grin at Red's compliment. "And yours, friend!"

 

She glanced up as Blizzard approached, and apologised for an argument that apparently happened with Ticktock while she wasn't there. She simply shrugged and took a swig of mead.

 

"I would like to know your history," she admitted, raising an eyebrow, "especially about how an earth pony can wield magic."

Red was still taken aback by the apologies and hugs. But it was nice to see such good friends in an increasingly harsh world.

"I would love to hear about where you came from," Red said. Anyway, that way she didn't have to talk and she could focus on drinking cider-- which was somehow gone again. She ordered another.

Ticktock also ordered a cider "Yes I have wondered for quite some time how and earth pony can use Ice magic I mean if we weren't friends I would probably have dissected you until I found the source of the power... Hahaha don't worry I was just joking" But what worried Ticktock was that he wasn't joking he had said it purposely.
