What is Mass Effect?

Mass Effect is a space themed RPG that takes place in the future.

Humanity has progressed enough so that we've found other alien races.

You play as Commander Shepard of the Alliance military.

As you go throughout the story you'll encounter many dangers.

The series has an excellent storyline and is super detailed in every way.

Even the characters are super well developed.

 

Now for the rest of you, discuss anything related to the series.

I've actually just started playing this trilogy~!

I will romance me some Garrus~ 

I'm on the 2nd game right now, it's a lot of fun, defiantly keeps me sucked in for hours~

Mass Effect is a great series and one of my favourites. I've played through all three titles and especially like how deep and complex the story is, the excellent voice acting and fun combat. I liked Mass Effect 2 and 3 a lot, i can hardly remember the first one since i haven't played it in years.

 

The story is quite lengthy and easily lasts 15 hours or more just for the campaign alone. If you were to 100% it this could easily last you 30 or more hours.

 

I haven't played the games in a long time but i would like to buy the trilogy again and play through it again.

 

I liked Garrus and Liara.

 

Also Mass Effect 4 is coming out for PS4 and Xbox One.

As a PC gamer this has me concerned.

I already bought ME1, 2, 3, on Origin.

I just hope that ME4 isn't console exclusive.

It would make no damn sense to do so.

Then again, the publisher of the ME series is EA; the kings of bad decisions.

The same ones who decided to release ME 1 and 2 on Steam and release 3 on Origin for no good reason whatsoever.

I wouldn't worry about it. It's unlikely that EA will make ME4 a console exclusive, if it wasn't for EA in the first place the series might still be only for Xbox, as the first Mass Effect was.

 

When Mass Effect 4 does come out, it will probably release at the same time as the console versions, or maybe a few months after the console versions.

I recently got into this series last year, and I can say without a doubt this is my favorite game series of all time. Mass Effect 3 was probably my favorite out of the 3 (last 10 minutes not withstanding) I even enjoyed Andromeda even though it is a very flawed game. I have never had this much of an emotional experience playing a game series before, and I hope everyone has the chance to try this series out at some point in their lives. I'm replaying Mass Effect 1 on new game plus mode right now and will be replaying 2 and 3 with a few different choices. Mass Effect 1 or 3 definitely have the best soundtracks Listen to the soundtrack from Mass Effect 3 " I Was Lost Without You", "Farewell and into the Inevitable", and Mars. My favorite Mass Effect 1 track is probably is Therum, or Noveria.

The First Playthrough of the Trilogy I went full Liara Romance, Full Paragon and Picked The Control Ending of Mass Effect 3.
