Help Keep Ponyville Live! Going Strong, Support Our Patreon:

The pony world creates an amazing amount of great content, and even more is created each day. Ponyville Live! started as a place to bring the media part of that content together into one easy-to-use platform.

One of our core principles is that PVL should always be a free service, not only for the people who listen to or watch our content, but also for the conventions that allow us into their halls to do what we do for the fans. Naturally, keeping the service free hasn’t always been easy, but we’ve held true to that principle for our entire existence.

Today, we’re asking for your help in keeping the Ponyville Live! network running smoothly. For two years, a majority of our day-to-day expenses have been handled by our small team of administrators, but the real world strikes even the best of us, and we’re hoping that the generosity of the Brony community will help us to build a more stable income for our core functions.

What You’re Supporting

First and foremost, you’re supporting the PVL shared hosting services, which provide:

• A shared radio server, complete with broadcast management software, for 50% of the radio stations syndicated by the PVL network,
• Web hosting for the homepages of the radio stations above, and
• Web hosting for PonyvilleLive.com, both the homepage and the powerful API that makes apps and plugins like HoofSounds, Pony Unite, iPonyRadio and others possible.

All told, these monthly expenses amount to approximately $150 per month.

Any donations beyond this would be directed toward Ponyville Live’s secondary function: convention coverage! The biggest limitation to the number of conventions we record and stream is the enormous expense of traveling to the convention itself. Any extra money raised through our Patreon will be funneled directly into expenses related to equipment and travel for PVL coverage of conventions, and as always we will transparently report the details of these expenses back to you, our supporters!
