Pinkie Pie's Mirror/Reflection Magic

Has anyone else noticed how Pinkie seems to have this extensive knowledge and ability in the field of reflection magic, or mirror magic or whatever you want to call it? 

 

Both her and her Equestria girls counterpart have been able to manipulate their reflections at will 

 

 

and Pony Pinkie knows at least two other ways of using reflective surfaces in magic

 

The mirror Pool that made copies of herself

 

and the interdemensional portal whom she pointed out to twilight could work even if the moon wasn't in the right spot. A portal that USES a MIRROR.

 

 

The fact that her human counterpart can use this power as well is even more intriguing. Where did she learn to do this? Was it her Nana Pinkie who taught her about the mirror pool that taught her the rest?

don't forget how she was able to manipulate gravity and slow herself down before she hit the water- another reflective surface- in "Too Many Pinkie pies"

I'm interested in this ability with reflective surfaces she seems to have.

You may not be that far off though. Remember how the Pinkies knew about the other worlds when they spoke to Twilight? Maybe they were in conversations before then through their intermediary reflections? We are talking some wonderful Fanfic fodder here

Interesting observation. I don't know how I missed that when it was right in front of my eyes. Maybe I wasn't looking deep enough. But yeah, it's interesting that she has the ability to do things like that. I'm not too sure where she learned something like this though. That's a question that hopefully would get answered sometime.

Haha, I have no idea how to answer this. She does all this, breaks the fourth wall, and is still home in time for dessert. Maybe Pinkie Pie has some sort of hidden power?
