Is the map permanently activated?

In Castle Sweet castle, i noticed the map from the premiere was activated on the dais, despite the fact that none of the mane six sat in their thrones in the episode even once. So is the map just permanently there?

As long as the map of Middle Earth is on my bedroom wall, that map is active. It's how it works. It deactivated the other day when it wasn't up.

I would think so. It's a permanent feature of the "round table" after all and it wouldn't make much sense to have it constantly popping in and out when it could very likely activate at anytime, regardless of if the Mane 6 were all sitting on their thrones at the time.

I guess they just turned it on, for lack of a better phrase, and now it's on until they turn it off (Which I doubt they'd do, seems a foolish idea.) So yeah, I'd say it's permanently activated.

Yes, and I'm guessing the map will regularly call them in the next episodes, even when they're not in the thrones room.

I was going to make some kind of crack about the map require 50 MP to active or something, but I can't think of a really funny way to do it, so whatever.

 

I wonder if they're going to do a reference at some point where the ponies play some sort of game, possibly musical chairs or something, in the castle throne room.  You know...a game...with their thrones. 

 

 

 

Furthermore, I could die happy if they changed the intro to a GoT parody using the cutie map.  And the sun thing with the carved metal dealios would be the chandelier of memories.  How awesome would that be?  To awesome to handle, that's how.

I actually think that the Cutie Map is permanently activated. I also expect some unrevealed abilities regarding it. That little device is one of the most interesting additions to the show.

More than likely it is permanently activated, and, for me, it would make little sense for it to keep activating everytime there is a friendship crisis.

 

Besides; Pathfinder loves maps.

It would be rather pointless in both animation cost, consistency and simple convenience if it wasn't permanent.
