Here are stuff i know is wrong, but i just refuse to change the way i say it.

- Melee (Meal) instead of maylay

- Tomb Raider (Tom Raider) instead of tuumb raider

- Raphael from TMNT.(I used to say Raffen) but a friend of my corrected me with Raphael. So i ended up actually changing that word. But in the past i stuck with the earlier one though.

Being from Pittsburgh, my dialect is built around a lot of mispronunciations:

  • Out - aht
  • Wash - worsh
  • And that - n'at
  • Creek - crick
  • Downtown - dahntahn
  • Pittsburgh Steelers - picksburgh stillers

I think you guys get the idea.

Here's an article to help you understand more:

We don't pronounce our t's much here, but i don't really know how to write it, cause it doesn't sound like don'. unless that still has the doh sound to it.

I pronounce Fluttershy like Fluhershy or Fluddershy....

usually if there are "T's" or if it just make the "T" sound in a word I replace them with "Uh's" or "D's" and "Eh's"... sometimes I just remove the "T"

I'm pretty sure its because of my Arizonian accent....

more examples

Rarity- Raridy

Twilight- Twili

that's all I can really think of....

just listen to this guy he'll tell you more about the accent

I need to bring the Black Country / Dudley accent to this one. UK is such a small place and 'yow car understand wha theym ona bowt thray mile down the road. Great folk though. Back in the day if you couldn't get it made in the Black Country, you probably couldn't get it made anywhere? And as a kid I saw it covered in black soot. Sad that it's mostly gone now.

I get wound up when I can hear a word spoken I my head, and for the life of me I can't spit it out properly :)
