Hello Everypony and welcome to the next fic of the elements I'd disharmony series ! Thus one is from the POV of RD now known as the element of arrogance .

Well today was a big day . It seems Sombra wants us to report to the crystal empire right away . I'm a bit glad actually the everfree forest can get really .. Weird . Lightening and I kept racing each other but we were exactky neck and neck neither of us coukd beat the other although Discord comes in and beat both of us by cheating . After it semmed like we had be traveling for hours we finally reached the empire . It had really changed since Sombra took over it was darker , more dismal and the crystal ponies cowered in fear when they saw us calling us monsters and demons . About a year ago I would've been frightened by this sort of place but now it semmed to fit well for the cold that had consumed my heart .

 

I landed on the balcony of the crystal tower and got a bit of a surprise . It wasn't just Sombra waiting for us a certain changeling queen was here too ." chrysalis what are you doing here?" I ask narrowing my eyes Lightening shares my scared and surprised expression . She's never seen a changeling before but I think she knows what they're capable of ."

Like you my hive and I have come seeking revenge upon my enemies and have decied to join you . I've talked it over with Sombra and we believe that you and your friend deserve a special title ."

 

I raised my eyebrow at " special title " and looked at Sombra as he began to talk " have either of you ever heard of the Shadowbolts ?"

He asks . I nod my head .

" yeah but weren't they just illusions created by Nightmare Moon ?"

That's what I thought they were at least .

Sombra shakes his head .

 

" No many years ago when Celestia and Luna fought that war against me I created the shadowbolts to protect the empire . They were the finest Pegasi we had to offer skilled in hoof to hoof combat and Pegasus dark magic .many years after I was banished Nightmare Moon stole their souls and created these illusions you saw . You two have the same darkness in your hearts as the shadowbolts had and you both seem to aim it had one pony in particular ."

We stared up at them ." How could you tell ?" I mumble in disbelief .

chrysalis smirks slyly

." Well we changelings can feel emotions and the too of you seem to want revenge upon one of those so called Wonderbolts .'

 

Oh yes how could I forget Spitfire . Everything was her fault she coste me my job my , my friends , my element and my normal life in general . I would make Her pay I didn't just want her dead I wanted her dead and cast into Tartarus ! I closed my eyes I heard Lightening Dust speak .

" well I'm in what about you Dash ?"

 

I opened my eyes and let a demonic smirk crawl across my face " cool suit , cool powers and revenge against my arch enemy I'm in lets go bag us a wonderbolt !"

We're given uniforms that look like the ones I saw last time I encountered the Shadowbolts . Except they didn't have the skull on them they had a symbol of chaos on them . Sombra made us swear to protect the empire and our team at all costs . Chrysalis becomes our commanding officer and gave us a army of young changelings . bringing Trixie and Sunset a Shimmer along with us for backups .

 

" Humph the great and powerful Trixie should be the leader you two should be the backup!" .

Trixie scoots pompously I couldn't help but laugh that was Trixie alright . Pinkie , scoots and Discord wished us luck I smirked

Spitfire was also indirectly responsible for Pinkie becoming the element of madness . Remembering this only made me want to kick her flank harder . Well she better watch out because once this over there isn't gomg to be much left of Spitfire except for ashes and dust .

 

( temporary POV change )

Spitfire was having as busy day today . She had to train more rookies at the academy plus meetings with Celestia had become more frequent due to the crystal empire be recaptured . Luckily her day of work was almost over . All safe had to to do now was minister a scheduled rainstorm .it was going smoothly until one of her trusted officers Wild Flower reported , injured cadets and what appeared to be a tornado starting to form . Spitfire sighed.

" one of those new cadets probably messed up the wether pattern ."

 

( back to Dash's POV )

I'm flying through the now dark and stormy sky at top speed . Lightening Dust and the changelings were helping me make a tornado . We'd already caided some to stroke random bolts and infected some with plunder seeds . Back when I was a element of harmony I would've never done this . But I'm loyal to a fault

ponies from this town destroyed my life I wouid destroy theirs if I nedeed to . I look at Lightening Dust who gives me a sympathetic smile .

" Hey Dash it's ok ithey screwed up now your just getting even . They had know right to accuse you of of being arrogant or that you messed up . If they were really your friends they would've forgave you sometime afterward out with the old in with the new ."

I nodded she was right I'm not saying I haven't messed up before but they were going to ruin my life then fine let them think I'm evil ! I'm about to go back to making the tornado when I saw Spifire coming closer . I told the changelings to keep themselves hidden . It's show time !

 

" Lightening Dust and Rainbow Dash what the Tartarus are you two doing here ?!"

I smirked as we se start to fly closer to her .

" well guess who decied to show up to the party ! I'll tell you what we're hear for Spifire we're here for revenge !"

 

Lightening snarls .

She grabs Spitfire by the chin .

" Neither of you were ever ready for the academy never mind being Wonderbolts !"

 

I'm getting sick of her already ." Shut up ! You brought this upon yourself you were a reckless leader and you ruined our lives !"

 

 

She tosses us off her and glared at us hatefully." I didn't ruin anything you two made arrogant , stupid choices and ruined them yourselves . You both lokked like excellent futures wonderbolts until I saw the black hearted sides of you . Do you guys rrally think you can take on a trained Wonderbolt by yourselves ?"

 

 

Both Lightening and I smirk at that ." Sorry Spiifire but we did bring reinforcements."

Lightening chuckles . I give a signal and the changelings emerge from the shadows and Trixie and Sunset Shimmer reveal themselves from the ground . When she sees the changelings Spitfire gasps ." Wow .. Teaming up with changelings and spreading chaos two have sunk lower then I thought you did . Now in my book you're no different then any other lowlife villians . But don't worry I have backup too ." She smirks as a large group of wonderbolts ... And my former friends surround the air and ground of the place . Both of our armies go head to head I go to attack Spifire but I'm suddenly hit in the side by somepony I recognize . I don't believe it its Fluttershy

" I'm sorry Dash but what your doing is wrong and I'm afraid you'll have to be stopped ."

I sighed I didn't want to hurt Flutteshy as much as I did the others . it looks like she'd gotten a bit braver then last time we saw each other too . If I have to hurt her to reach my goal so be it . I punch her hard enough to stun her and go to attack Spitfire Lighening holds her down as I whisoer in her ear see you in Tartarus bitch !" We send her spiraling badly injured but still able to fly . The rest of the battle is one side towards us . chrysalis and the changelings kill or capture any wonderbolt not killed by the storm and Trixie and Sunset managed to temporarily wound Twilight and Rarity .

We tie up Fluttershy and decide to let Spifire go we'll be back and now we did to her exactky what she did to us . We ruined her life and made her loose friends . Maybe I am a monster but I'm still loyal to those who are my friends . I fly over To Lighening , Trixie and Sunset we make a good team I'll defently be hanging out with them more often .

 

Chrysalis said tyst we had earned her respect and friendship . The changeling squad bowed before me and my 3 new best friends their generals . I'm leaving my old life behind . I am Rainbow Dash shadowbolt , element of Disharmony and now alsside my friends I'll show the ponies that shunned us the true power of chaos and shadows !
