I'm actually really glad that Ice Blizzard is backing up Anette (who still hasn't gotten there yet). Not because I can't handle the fight, but because it keeps the two guys we're fighting from realizing exactly what they're dealing with. You're saving Anette a lot of trouble.

Well:

Wilhelm decided to fight EWS, Strix, and Rebeliac.

EWS broke Wil''s ribs.

EWS face major pain as well.

EWS flew away to avoid death.

Strix shot at Will.

Anette's dolls came to assist Will.

IB heard the gunshot and came to assist.

And here we are.

It's not worth trying to get in there because:

1. They're too goddamn strict.

2. You can easily just do almost any RP there in the Everfree Empire.

3. To goddamn slow and inactive.

Don't get me wrong, it's a cool concept and I'd allow it personally. But they're a bit anal about the canon stuff. EPs just have never been shown with magic and you know it. They don't allow even very slight cross-race stuff, no matter how balanced or fair. Like a weak flight mode for example that can't walk on clouds.

They're strict because they stick to strict canon. If it hasn't been shown in the show it can't be done. It's still anal though, but they have their reasons and it makes sense for the most part.

 

EvE doesn't usually do the kind of RPs that EqE does, so there's very little overlap. You can actually carry stuff between RPs which is the big draw there. Met Rarity at Winter Wrapup? You can bring it up at Nightmare Night and she would remember.

 

It's inactive because more people need to join!

I'm actually more worried about getting attacked afterward. If we're talking bounty hunters and things of that nature, any dirty scientist would pay a stupid amount of bits to get their hands on Anette or one of her dolls. I was actually talking to Wilhelm about that earlier...

The inactivity is because there's not enough people trying. Just not enough players. The average OC would murder everyone in the show except the M6, and people don't want to power down. It's sad but true, and it's cause a lot of concepts are ruined like that. And the rest just don't make sense in the canon.

Rarity herself wouldn't want anypony uncomfortable doing something either.

And I feel uncomfortable there because of the reasons my bros said above. -_-

I have a device I'm working fitting with canon based off of the magical waveform cancellation principle, in which two magical waves of opposite wave-trough configurations cancel each other out. Basically, say you have a sine wave propagation in a magic field. It's cosine wave would cancel it perfectly, and therefore, you have to read the frequency of the magical impulse from whatever you want to shut down and then create a cosine for it. It only works with magical things, and even then with tiny things such as magic code processing in a magitek computer, or the firing impulse in a magitek gun. But still, it's kind of useful. Problem is, Wilhelm needs to consult with a Magitek engineer and preferably a experienced unicorn to get it working.

He would need to analyze each magic individually though. Wouldn't really work unless he had a analyzer on hand and could work mid battle like a Uni could cast magic.

 

Magitek doesn't have code remember? It's a spell that says do this.

Which is exactly why I need a unicorn's help.

 

I analogue it to code processing, especially because t's quote a bit like a OOP object reference line combined with a command prompt.

I had to remove Wilhelm's court position and military career, never mind change his first name and that of his entire family to something more "pony". It wasn't too bad since I make him pseudo-canon in most role plays except for this one or fighting role plays like it, but it was still annoying as hell.
