Yeah! It'd be like Resident Evil style story with fighting in between scenes.

 

And normal fighting modes out of story!

 

And tag team names!

IB and Caliber = Ice and Dice.

Will and Anette = The soldier and the doll master.

EWS and Rebilac = Evil Opposites.

Red and Green = Prominent Colors.

IB and Rarity = Crystal Crushers.

Just to name a few.

 

Well, I would think the storyline would only include OCs. The canon characters would be bosses or supporting/cameo characters, since they don't really do much SoL stuff in between battles.

 

Furthermore, should it be a open world RPG, a classic fighting game, or a on-rails RPG?

Story = RPG type with actual fights in between. (Like Mortal Kombat Armageddon Konquest)

All other modes = actual fighting.

The dolls are general glass cannons( much like Anette) and can't take more than a few hits before they stop moving. For the dolls, moving as quick as Hero did takes a lot of energy out of Anette, as does anything that Glory does (but you'll see that later). Glory can't attack, her shields can't stand up to heavy shots, and she can't teleport very far (say, 100 or so in any direction feet). Also, Anette doesn't bring Nightmare to her arena fights, because he's a brat. He doesn't tend to follow orders unless Anette's in danger.

 

I hear there's an app for that.

She doesn't generally fight unless she has a good reason to. She's fighting EWS because he pissed her off, and she's fighting him and Rebilac because... Wilhelm.

By the way, @Orion Caelum, most of the energy in that fight actually went towards healing you. Glory had a lot to work on.
