Like I said, im playing to Kazas's personality completely. Be it one life or a million, Kazas would do everything in his power to perserve it, even laying his life down for a complete stranger if need be. To do so would not be righteous in Kazas's eye. In fact, it is Kazas's belief that no one should ever live life without experiencing kindness at least once from another. In Kazas, compassion, love, righteousness, and sacrifice are represented thoroughly, and his title as the Phoenix knight of Ezerepth reflects his willingness to sacrifice himself and his personal needs for the good of others, and indeed, the world. This kindness and willing to do what is right is so powerful, that it is not far-fetched to say that Kazas is the reason why the volunteer divine retribution forces are starting to number so high. Without Kazas, there is no divine retribution order.
