gaming Anyone Else Hyped over Axiom Verge atm?

So yeah, holy crud. I heard about this around, but I only recently took a look at it, and I'm already willing to shove it up there with Elysium Tail and Cave Story for amazing things to come out of the indie world. I grew up on Super Metroid a bit, and for years I've wanted a good game to follow after the last-made 2D metroid, and this seems like it will fit in just beautifully.

I'm avoiding spoilers and gameplay trailers at the moment, but dang. From what I've read about it, it's planned out amazingly, and the atmosphere is just intense for a retro platformer.

It's already been released for the PS4, but within the next few months here it should come out for the PC--hopefully during the beginning of summer, that way I can play the heck out of it.

 

Personally, I love what looks to be a narrative of questioning sanity and exploring a dark, nightmaric world that may or may not be real (for the protagonist).
