planning Star Wars based RP?

I have just been thinking about this: doing a Star Wars RP. Not really ponyfied or anything, just regular Star Wars. 

 

Anyone have any say or ideas?

Although I would not be adverse to any ideas. With my computer's lack of ability to play the Old Repiblic, I need my Jedi fix!

That wasn't meant to be strictly alternate universe. Besides, isn't pretty much ALL of the previous post movie canon an alternate universe now?

Actually, I think beginning of Imperial Era would be fun. Y'know, when all the terror actually begins.

UPDATE

So, I am thinking about early empire Mandalore. Since I know that before the end of the republic the old Mandalorians took back Mandalore and brought back swaggy armor and stuff. The Empire quickly took Mandalore again. So, what I think would be amazing as a setting is really Mandalore. Have the RPers split to all sorts of parties from Mandos, Jedi, Inquisitors, Imperials. Anything fitting really. 

 

So, not much is known of what happens on Mandalore, but them being warriors they are, I'd imagine if there are any rebels on it, they are probably very badarse. 

 

I think a nice time would be 17 BBY (Two years after the Galactic Republic is dissolved )

So can that account for a lone Jedi?

 

I'm just saying between Kanan, Kento Marek, Shaak Ti, and of course Obi-wan, it looks less like the Jedi were pushed to extinction and more like simply spread out and decentralized.
