Caras: "Niruna Lucifer!" Caras descended from the top of he cities large walls and landed before them. "What do you think you are doing? Sneaking out at a time like this, and while their is a war about to happen non the less. What do you have to say for yourself?"

 

Niruna: "Sorry Caras-OniiSama."

 

Caras turned to look at Simple. With both anger and killing intent in his eyes. "You better have a very good reason to be with this girl. And at this city, otherwise. You won't go home alive."

 

Niruna: "Caras-Oniisama. Stop being so mean to Onii-Chan. He gave a tour of the castle, he let me sit in the throne and protected me from Divines, and he also walked me home. Say sorry for being mean."

 

Caras: "*sigh* Yes Niruna. I guess I can say thanks for taking care of her and keeping her company while she was out. I hope she did not cause any problems For you. As a token of appreciation, how about you stay the night over where Niruna lives? It's the least we can do as a thanks. A snow storm is about to come down, so I recommend that we go inside The city."

Chrysteel continues to wait for a response from Sword. She looks to also be deep in thought. For a moment she felt a devil's heart within the castle. 'It felt peaceful. Strong and prideful too. I wonder who it belonged too. Let's hope there is still a chance at peace.'

 

She turns to Sword and asks, "Is war truely the only option? What if a medium could be found? One who could be a peace keeper between the two sides. I am also curious about why they fight. There was pride and a symbolence of honor etched in the hearts of the devils I have meet. If possible, when this is done, I would like to see things from a different prospective. Excuse me I have some thinking to do."

 

Chrysteel bows and heads out. She makes her way to the exit of the castle. Being a changeling, as long as her energy stores and love stores are high she does feel the need to sleep.

 

She heads out and desides to go and check the perimeter. She looks around for that heart she felt before. 'This item has not only increased my aura magic but my heart sense as well.'

Caras entered the city and caught up with Niruna and Simple. They walked for a while before coming to a rather large house somewhere towards that back of the city.

 

Caras: "Impressive isn't it? To think this entire building was commissioned for the sake of about 3 Lords and one little girl. These are the benefits of being respected. Come inside. Niruna will show you too a room."

simple smiled.... he felt at home with these people but at the same time worried that if he stayed it would just fuel the divine guardians rage..... he feared that the family themselves would be hunted due to the facts he was suppose to one of the divine's chosen..... they would fear the loss of such power hunting him down but also hunting niruna and caras down..... he wanted to stay but he feared for their lives should he stay more than one night.......he decided to lay down on his bed and think for a while.....before falling asleep......a sentence was whispered in his mind (all people have their good side.... but also all have their bad sides.... a balance lives between the two only when you take a risk of care...... will peace be made....)

Chrysteel watches till almost time for the main battle. She continues to watch the perimiter. She begins to head back to the others. She draws in the residual love in the air, thanks to the last Crystal Fair. She hadn't slept and hadn't needed to sleep. She positions herself near the gathering point for the forces and begins to meditate.

 

-Within Meditation-

Chrysteel finds herself deep into the past many of her kind with many auras all around. One voice speaks and all listen, including her. "Children, the time has come for the world to know of us. Mother wishes us to spread her love a cross the lands. Her blessings be to all who venture out. Let Mother's Love spread through all the lands and bring happyness to those who need it. Chrystaline make sure you visit mother's half brother. They wish a chance to see our gifts to their culture. Bring them honor and they will show respect. Earn their trust and you will have their respect and honor...." the last of her words are shrouded in the throws of time as Chrysteel's meditation is at its end.

Chrysteel detects many coming from the north. She gets up and prepares for what will come.

(Morning: 8:00am)

 

It was time. The time for war had arrived on Hell Above. With the soldiers that had volunteered to fight, and the other Devil Lords bringing in their own personal elite troops. Devil forces stood at 25000 strong. And overwhelming force for the Divines to handle. Now came the part to plan how they will do battle.

 

Caras: "Okay fellow Lords. Listen closely. We will be slightly diverging from the traditional battle plan. A dividing strike. The 10000 troops they know about will gather their attention to the north of the city. The 15000 elite troops will take a slight detour East and bombard the city with magic and an overpowering infantry assault. We will simply over power them with over whelming odds. Any questions? Non? Good. The magic bombardment teams should head out earlier to be in position by the time the main force arrives."

 

(11:30)

 

The Devil force of 10000 stood to the north of the crystal empire. They where now within visible range. And being led by several high level devils, but Caras and the other Lords were no where to be found. The Divines had their anit-magic shields set up, ground forces positioned in tactical locations and archers in the sky. Now it was just a waiting game to see who shoots first. Niruna, wearing her cloak had managed to sneak her way back into the city and was standing atop a tall building with Simple next to her, watching how things will unfold.

 

(Small Update: For a short time, up to a week. Control of Simple Connection has been given to me while ExampleUser is away. Just so their is no confusion)

Temper stood on the north wall and smirked. He was happy that his ruse had not been detected. Now, it was only a matter of time before somepony snapped the palpable tension between the two forces.

 

Dawn stood next to Tempest, ready to help and ready to fight. She had made a bow and arrows out of her aura and if that failed, she could use magic. Her cryokinesis would also be more powerful due to the frozen tundra around them.

 

Both aura beasts were ready to fight. They had already been through one genocide, and they swore to prevent anything like that from happening again. If it was possible, the demon army would've seen them standing by their respective holder.

Chrysteel looks to the Divines and says, "Isn't the Crystal Spire a massive magaamplifyer for range? If so I could spread my aura about the whole city with it. My aura has a number of beneficial effects. It would be best if I could affect as many as possible. It could also extent the range of my heart sense. There are many to the north. But my sense is also detecting many more coming from another direction. It is odd."

 

Chrysteel shifts uncomfortably. She was detecting the ones from the north. But she is also detecting more from another direction. She can't place which direction. She needed a bigger focus point to confirm.

Simple: "No. In fact I do want to see the leaders from both sides and see if I can't get them to some sort of understanding. Devils don't seem like bad people, just misunderstood. Perhaps their is a way for peace. Or maybe it's just me wishing."

 

Niruna: "Well, what ever you decide to do Onii-Chan I'll be with you. *moan* it's too hot in this cloak during the day." She proceeded to take off her cloak, and her aura could easily be detected, but right now, she didn't care.

Chrysteel taps Sword with her horn. "This is so i can communicate with you. Just incase it works. My theory is that my aura magic will act similar to the Crystal Heart when in contact with the spire."

 

Chrysteel proceeds to the spire. She stands where the Crystal Heart usually sits and allows her aura to form a connection with the spire...

(Child of Darkness, you can deside if she is able to project her aura magic and Heart sense through the Crystal Spire.)

Caras and his army arrived in position. They where just beyond the visible range, but well within range of an artillery strike.

 

Caras: "Prepare your magic. Staffs at the ready. Channel your strength, your anger and thirst for justice into this strike. Tear the city down with unlimited power."

 

Lord: "Sir. We have detected something abnormal. Lady Niruna. Daughter of Lord Lucifer is within the city."

 

Caras: "I told her to stay home. That dammed girl is always causing A problem. Someone get her our of the city."

 

Lord: "I'll go and get her."

 

Caras: "Don't disappoint me Zecz."

 

Zecz: "Do I ever Mi'Lord." Zecz put on a cloak that is very similar to the one Niruna wears, broke apart from the troops and moved by himself towards the city.

Tempest smirked as he cut his connection to the aura within the ground. "Let's start this off with a bang." He said with a devilish smirk as the ground under the demon army exploded, sending debris outwards. The bat pony didn't know how many died in that initial attack, but he hoped that it had done a good bit of damage. The bat pony then jumped to the ground and took a defensive stance.

 

Dawn was tensed as she booked an arrow, ready to take down anything that got to close. "Stallions will be stallions." She thought.

The explosion caused a good amount of damage to the force, killing several hundred. Although an attack like this was anticipated, so some weak shielding protected and spacing left most of them Unharmed.

 

Officer: "I guess you could say that attack was Devilish. No pun intended. You'll pay for your arrogance."

 

Caras and his mages to the east started to prepare their attack. The combined barrage from 5000 high level Demon Mages, with their magic amplified by a staff and adding the power of Caras and another Lord, the attack will be devastating. Doubly so that the shield created by the divines is facing the wrong way. They start to charge their orbs of power, creating a huge power spike that a divine could easily see, but will not have enough time to react to.

 

Niruna got chills down her spine. "Onii-Chan, let's go and hide. Somethings bad is about to happen where we are."

 

Simple: "Okay. We can go inside the castle. Come on, let's go." Simple took her by the hoof and quickly made their way into the castle, even though he was not sure why, he trusts her judgment.

Chrysteel says, "Sword, we have a problem. There are more coming from the east. Caras is with them. My powers only seem to recieve a minor boost. If there is healing to be done bring the injured near the spire."

 

After her message to Sword she reaches out with her aura to give Simple and his friend a place to come to. All Simple and his friend feel is love. Simple already knows the aura he feels. It belongs to Chrysteel and he can tell it originated near the Crystal Spire.

Tempest noticed the orb and he was quite surprised. "This could be interesting after all." He said as his aura surrounded him and began to solidify, Xena's power mixing with his own.. The bat pony knew he wouldn't be able to stop the mage's attack, so he decided to focus on the ground troops.

 

Dawn felt a large power growing and looked towards the orb. "Tempest has this side. They need help." She thought as she took off into the air. She didn't know how effective her magic would be, so she would have to rely on her aura to get the job done.

It was time for war.

 

Naga had taken a painstakingly long time in hiding his body. It was nestled deep in clouds that shouldn't disappate for at least a few days. The spiritual residue left by his soul, detectable by very few along with him, would help him find the body once he ejected out of it. Once he had nestled deep within the clouds, he chanted one simple mantra; the mantra of freedom, to allow his soul to roam outside of its mortal coil.

 

" Tu sadaa salaamat Nirankaar!"

 

( Formless God; who exists without fear! )

 

What appeared to be a ball of light metaphysically exploded from Naga's chest. Out of his body, his soul was apparent; it was like a flame, similar to a will-o-wisp. The soul itself had three colorations: the first was golden, and was the most prevalent, as it represented his good karma the second color was green, which could be gleamed as sparks that came from the flame of his soul. This indicated his Vetala nature. The third, and smallest portion, was black, appearing as a very small blot on his soul. The small amount of corruption that he always carried. That one bit of negative karma that he never seemed to get rid of.

 

 

 

Traveling downward as a soul, Naga found himself nearing the battlefield. Tempest's trap had worked just fine. He would get to tempest, so that he could speak to him.

Naga's soul travled next to tempest, and would most likely surprise him. Naga's soul spoke, but it sounded different. It sounded old, wisened.

 

" Tempest! It is me, Naga! I need you to bear my soul and kill a high ranking demon! Once that is done, I'll assume control of his body and infiltrate the ranks if their forces! Grab my soul and take care of it! Please!"

Caras: "Fire."

 

5000 high powered orbs of magic started their barrage upon the city. Each impact tearing apart the landscape and disintegrating almost all of the archers caught in the air. Building where destroyed and hundreds of Divines died. The ones that survived had moral shaken. They where physically shaking. Once the attack was over, the 10000 elite troop with Caras started to make their advance, while the other 10000 from Hell Above to the north of the battle, started to walk away.

Niruna: "Onii-Chan? Do you feel that aura. It feels like love. It makes me feel a little sick. It's strange. Not physical sick but, just not a good feeling sick. I don't want to go near it."

 

Simple: "It's ok. This is one of my friends, belive me, she won't hurt you. It's best that we go to her. She can protect us, can you please just try and put up with it?"

 

Niruna: "Okay Onii-Chan. Let's go."

 

Simple and Niruna made their way to the spire where Chrysteel was producing her aura. "Hey, Chrysteel. How's it going?"

 

Niruna was hiding behind Simple, just poking her head out from behind him. She was looking at her with mixed fear and curiosity.

Now that was strange indeed. Tempest had the ability to support coexisting souls inside of one body? Without the auxiliary soul mixing with his concious? Impressive! Inside of tempest's mind, Naga appeared to him in a realm of nothingness, sitting in a meditative stance. He appeared In tempest's mind as if he were still In his own body, using Tempest's memories to

Construct a sort of artificial body of the mind. This was representative of Naga's consciousness. Naga spoke to tempest from within his own mind.

 

' Tempest. I have left my original body in a cluster of clouds that are near the civillain retreat path. Please, after this is done, keep the body safe. As a boon, I share with you, my power. As we are temporarily one, gleam from me, my knowledge of the third eye of awakening. Use it, and a metaphysical eye will appear on your forehead. It will grant you Clarity, perception, speed, and strength, as obtaining this eye channels positive karmic energy throughout your entire body. You will be nigh unstoppable, but be warned, the drawbacks are severe, and it will leave your body in a strained state. Use it wisely, friend.'
