gaming Do you agree that video games was more fun when internet didn't exist

with the way the internet is set up you can have all the information about a game slapping you in the face before you've even touched it. spoilers too if you happen to come across a discussion about a game you havent played or a video on youtube titled with spoilers as soon as the game comes out. in that way it kinda ruins them for me. im not really too keen on how the whole online gaming thing has made all this troll culture sprout up in gaming either. i think i did and do have a lot more fun with games when i dont bother being invested into the hobby as deeply as i used to. now i just play something if it looks cool instead of talking about it or watching reviews and stuff. besides, most chats about any given videogame subject usually just turns into debate arena 4000 from what ive seen.

Not at all! Gaming has grown as a community from the internet, and brought us fantastic games that we would never have known if it didn't exist. It's helped keep gaming from being held exclusively by big companies, and I think gaming is where it is today BECAUSE of the internet.
