Chrysteel says, "How can we help others if there is conflict with the group, Scarlett. Being a being who has had to deal with this mistrust and earn what I had before we came to the past, I know what both Beraha and Banner is going through. As long as there is separation between us as a team and as friends, we will never be able to stop Nightmare Moon."

 

"Sorry Chrysteel. You're not the only one who has had to deal with mistrust in the past...", but more quietly "technically in the future".

 

Once again resuming normal speech, Scarlett attempts to calm everypony down; "We were all chosen by some special pony right? Celestia was it? Yea. And she gave her life so we could get back here. Chrysteel came to all of us directly, we weren't just picked randomly form the crowd. We're special, in some way or another, and we all need to work together. I'd say that we all need to put the past behind us but that would be a little bit awkward considering the circumstances" she finished by giggling a bit.

Banner gets more and more pissed until see lets go a sigh "there's no use fighting it, but I still will be skeptic about every dragon I meet" she says then gets on the back of the dragon and gets close to his ear "I have had poison in my bag ever since my family was attacked, it can kill a hydra with 5 drops and a knife, don't try me" she says then gets on his central back and holds on

Beraha nods turning his head back to look at Banner. "Point taken. It seems we need one more pony on my back then we can head out." He twists his head around looking for the other pony.

 

As he's looking around he thinks to himself. "I have known from the beginning that this task would be difficult. Father worked hard to get even an uneasy peace between our flight and a small group of ponies. But I am the product and proof that it can happen."

Chrysteel says, "Ok. We can work out our differences in Tartarus."

 

She steps over to Scarlett, "At this rate, we won't be able to stand against one of her designated attacks, let alone beat her. We need to bring the tensions between the party members to a close and get this on track." She whispers.

 

Chrysteel then says, "Beraha, How many can you carry and still go at your draconic full speed? This is while conserving your stength."

 

Chrysteel gets on his back and says, "Let's hope she hasn't attacked the sisters and their mother yet."

Hours before the groups arrival:

 

Queen Faust walked the halls of the castle talking with her current knight captain, discussing the days report on the land borders and the Kingdom itself. "Very good Star Stitch, you are dismissed and can take the rest of th......." Faust stood still, her heart was beating quickly and it had felt like she'd been kicked in the gut. She could tell something sinister had just appeared in her land, but what scarred her the most was that it wasn't there before and magic couldn't be hidden from her, she could sense it all. "Star Stitch I want the whole watch on guard for any sign of danger or suspicious activity. Understood?" The captain knew better than to challenge the queen and quickly raced away. Faust stood there, fearing for her children. For this was the first time in her lifespan that her hooves shook in fear of the power that just entered her kingdom.

 

Back to current time:

 

"I'm with Chrysteel, we need to put our differences aside for right now and go to the castle to help the Queen." Snow then looked at Beraha with concern. "I am bothered though that we might not be trusted with a dragon on our side. Is there a way for anypony to change him back temporarily for meeting the queen? It might go better."

Beraha watches Chrysteel get up on him and smiles. "Even with all of you on me the weight is slight. I should be able to go full speed. Dragons have extremely high endurance and our flight strength is second to none."

 

He looks at snow and nods. "I understand your concern." Then he looks over to Chrysteel again. "Arent your kind masters with illusion?"

Chrysteel says, "If what the Flutterlings told me is true, the Queen will be able to see right through my illusion spells. I think it better that we plan as a team.

 

Beraha, because of your size, drop us off and help the guard keep bad things out and report to them any suspicious activity. I am also sure the Flutterlings will give the Queen a good word about us. We just need to hope for the best.

 

The rest of us will meet this queen. We will explain ourselves and why we are here. We may or may not need to leave out the time bit. The Flutterlings will most certainly get there before us. So good for now or no?"

45mins before the groups arrival in the past:

 

Faust was moving quickly after she had felt the dark energy enter her kingdom. First thing was first, she had made sure that the girls foalsitter was with them. Lavender Love wasn't a fighter but she was well trained in illusion magic and would be able to hide them easily. Once her guards were stationed at their posts and the few needed inside Faust dawned her golden armor and headed to her throne room. Upon sitting on her throne she used her magic to touch the minds of all her guards, commanding them through her telepathy, unfortunately this left her at a disadvantage. "Ok everypony let's keep whatever it is at bay."

 

Current time with group:

Snow nodded his head and continued flying along with the group. "I understand, it's a sound plan for now Chrysteel and it should work just fine as long as we don't run into any problems."

 

(OOC: The next few posts with me and Alex will be a little confusing but try not to jump too far ahead and I'll let you know what's going on in the OOC when it's time ok.)

[Around 40 minutes before the groups arrival]

 

 

Nightmare Moon finally reached the outskirts of the palace walls, slinking in the shadows with Sombra not far behind. They took note of the guards standing at attention just in front of the castle gates. Nightmare could see that they were under the influence of Queen Faust from the glint in their eyes and her aura that emanated from them. With a hint of disgust, she commanded her own puppet to distract the guards.

 

 

Alex's eyes suddenly regained their more blue-like color, collapsing to the ground a moment before getting back up on her two feet, panic sweeping over her as she saw the guards before the entrance to the castle. Rushing up to them, she stumbled over her a few times. She hoped that they could 'help' her, unaware that she was still under Nigtmare's evil hoof.

 

"Guards! Please! Y-you... You've gotta help me! I... I saw these... These dark ponies... they... I don't know how to describe them, but... they aren't good! They tried to do something to me! I-I-I don't remember how I got away, but they aren't far from here I just know it!"

 

While the guards kept focus on the Diamond Dog, Nightmare Moon and Sombra slithered inside the castle doors behind the royal gaurd's flanks, making their way towards the Queen's royal quarters.

The guards didn't know what to make of this dog, but they knew that they had to protect the queen until she could mount an offensive against whatever had her so worried. The guards secured her and took the dog into the castles dungeon and quickly locked her up. Within moment they were back at their posts unaware of the dark aura that had sealed the doors and windows. Faust was still within her chambers when she felt her magic cut off suddenly, it was then that she just stood and looked around her chamber at the shadows. "You can't hide anymore I know you're here so you might as well show yourself."

Walking up Beraha's back a little more closer to the head, Scarlett asks "If you want I can cast the weight redaction spell on the others, if it worked right you shouldn't have even noticed me walking up your back." Scarlett was hoping that her spell had worked.

A weird feeling traveled over Scarlett's body while she was using her magic earlier, and she was confused about it. Quickly turning to Chrysteel she asks "Is it just me, or are the magic fields here somewhat, different, to how they are in our time?"

Nightmare Moon let out an evil laugh, which echoed around the room that surrounded Faust. "Oooh, just like Celestia. 'The all knowing goody two hooves'!" She exclaimed, her shadow expanding across the ground before her form began to manifest into her physical being. Expanding her wings and grazing the ground with her hoof, she raised her dark aura, mixing it with that of Sombra's to give herself the presence that she possessed even greater darkness then Faust had felt earlier, seeming as though she could be almost unstoppable.

 

 

 

"W-what!? N-no! I'm innocent in all this I swear! Y-you gotta believe me! Those ponies are on there way! Please!" She screamed as she was taken and locked up in the dungeon. The canine frowned sadly, how had everything gone so wrong so suddenly?

 

However, in an instant. Something sparked within her, the diamond dog's eyes once again obtaining their green tint as she growled angrily. "Well that didn't work..." She hissed, turning to the lock on her cell's door. "Pfft! Primitive." She muttered, lifting up a paw, her claws extending as she place her claw into the lock, easily unlocking the mechanism. "Let's get this "plan B" thing rolling..."  She says, pushing the cage door open and marching off.

Beraha turns his head around to look at ocean. "You are correct. If I had wished to betray you all I could have the moment we crossed the portal. It seems, though yes I was affected, that I wasn't affected as much as others by the time distortion. Thank you for your vote of confidence."

 

After Scarlett walks up his back and speaks to him he shakes his head a little in surprise. He hadn't noticed her walk up his back. "You are correct. I didn't feel you walk up my back at all." He chuckles. "What a nifty spell. If you wish to use the spell on the others I would be appreciative."

Scarlett nods, lowers her horn close to Oceans hooves and casts the spell. Getting back up she says "There we go, done. As for your question, I'm sure Chrysteel has a plan to defeat the Nightmare, and if not I'm sure Chrysteel has a plan to plan a way to defeat the Nightmare."

Faust stood her ground, her golden armor shimmering in the sunlight that came through the stained glass windows. "I don't know what you're talking about but you stay away from my children."  Faust takes a more determined stance an let's her aura show, that even in this timeline of old magic she's not to be messed with. "I will not let some dark and maleficent creature such as yourself remove the beauty that I've worked so hard to bring into this world." Faust's aura glows brighter, almost cutting through all of the darkness except for the creature for Nightmare and Sombra. She wanted to try to end this without incident but she knew that it probably wouldn't go that way.

Ponies frolic about during the day, yet hardly even give a glance to the marvelous affairs of the night. Why should such FOALS deserve any benefits?"

 

She cranes her neck up, continuing her attempts to try and intimidate the queen. "With the night eternal, they shall take what they are given and accept it. Cherish, and praise it. But that entails dealing with the pony in charge of it all! You're children are of no importance to me... At least not yet..." She smirks a moment at simply the thought before laughing maniacally, her laughter echoing about the room.

 

 

If he could do so physically, Sombra would have rolled his eyes at his partner's foolish antics. Talking to the queen and revealing her plan. If it were up to him, he would simply go on attack to rid old Equestria of their queen. Unfortunately, due to Nightmare Moon resurrecting him, he had to wait for her Que to assist in her attack.

 

[Meanwhile, in another part of the castle...]

 

 

Alex was marching through the castle, searching left and right for the 'targets' she was tasked to find. Her ears pricked at every movement near her area, disguising her eyes in the case that she was caught again.

"I'm fine." Celestia replied. To her sister she said "I am sure that the issue that mother is facing aren't too important. She always has something going on that she has to get done. It's probably nothing." She was mainly trying to convince herself in saying that. She terrified that something terrible was about to happen. Lavender seemed nervous and that scared her.
