Happy day for us all, rooftop camping has been disabled; now those who never try have to really work for their kills. I love that they have forced people to stop this skilless routine, balance has been restored, unless a hacker finds a way up there.

 

Here's a tip for rookies who lost their cheap advantage:

 

- Be aware of your surroundings, always check your minimap and just try to get a general idea of the buildings or terrain you're flying around. Instead of flying high in the sky where you can get locked on or shot by gunfire, hug the terrain and pop out to spot. If you get fired upon, use the terrain to lose locks and get behind cover.

 

- Try to remember immediate pieces of cover too, sometimes knowing where that random boulder is can save your MAV. Just keep trying, it's not easy, but it's so satisfying. 

 

- MAV is the MVP if you know how to play it. I've spent entire rounds just trolling their entire team, zipping around buildings, spotting their entire team, blowing up spawn beacons and devices. Key is to use the buildings. The MAV is slow at climbing and going back down, so usually you'll get shot down fast. Use the MAV's maneuverability to your advantage and zip around buildings and lots of peeking. You'd be surprised how fast a team starts raging at a flying robot.

You still can, just might take some getting used to, but everyone has a way of adapting.

I never stood on top of roof tops and shot down, I am guilty of sniping on the cranes but I blame the other team for not having a sniper to counter me whats the point of a sniper if people complain I use it right if I use a long range one at long rang im a noob if I use a short range at short range im a noob.

Practice makes perfect, but yeah is ee what you mean; but don't give up because of this; i hope have a rival.
