Or maybe there is an actual physical location that acts as a gateway between the two realms. Also remember that Discord had said that him and Fluttershy have been sending letter back and forth for some time, so he must have some way of getting his mail. darkwingmare 1,324 June 21, 2015 Share June 21, 2015 I'm very interested in agreeing with the theories @RarityFan01 and @JonasDarkmane are thinking their ways around. Either Discord would keep some rift or portal open for the mail ponies somewhere in Equestria because he actually was waiting mail and seemed to have both received and sent mail earlier on a non-screen occasion, or it could be as Jonas is saying, Celestia gave the mailpony access to travel to Discord and lend him the mail he was supposed to get. I'd say that it's most likely that the Princess gives access to the mail ponies at any time. It would make sense for the mail ponies to visit Celestia whenever they've got mail for Discord, and let her open a rift for them at those times. Since I can't really imagine Discord keeping a rift open anywhere, it would allow anyone to enter. Pretty big risk to be taking. So, Princess access is what I think! On the side of the mailbox scrawled in crayon is the word "Discord".
